Bike shop brake lever replacement

Hey y'all. I was involved in an accident last month which left my brake lever bent. I took my Haul ST to my local bike shop and asked if they could replace it. They had to order a whole system as they could not just replace the lever. I picked up my bike about 9 days ago now and I am just noticing that they replaced the lever and Caliper with a Shimano BR-MT200. I haven't ridden the bike since because I have been in physical therapy and my doctor to hold off on riding. Once I get the clear to ride again, would it be alright to use the new brake system? It was installed on the front wheel if anyone was wondering.

DIY pannier adapter for LT

so I cut some copper pipe and threaded it some old static rope I had. Works perfectly. $0 cause all this stuff was in my garage.

Do you have bike insurance to cover theft?

I just got a Globe Haul and my wife asked me about insuring the bike, and I honestly had not even thought about it. Does anyone have experience with bicycle insurance - like at all - and can you recommend what coverages to buy?

We're taking over!

Pulled up to a playground in San Francisco yesterday and was surprised to see THREE other Globes already parked on the racks. Mostly I see Rad Powers and Terns around here, so it was fun to have a little Globe Gang going.

Got ours a couple of weeks ago and are already at 80 miles. The kids are loving it. (Spider-Man helmet is us.)

One of my favorite videos

Took our little fluffy boy out for a ride on the front rack 😻

He got a little nervous over 10 mph, but he loved all the sights & smells
