Got my pistachio today!
Upgrading from pixel 10, Do I even need a new case?. Dimensions seem to be exactly same as my pixel 10.

I'm debating whether it is worth it to do the upgrade. My Pixel 9 is about 2 years old and still works fine. However, it Google does have a great offer:
The total would be $323 (includes the $54 in taxes). They are also offering a $100 Google Store credit. I'm on the fence but I'm leaning towards keeping my Pixel 9 for at least one more generation.
EDIT: decided to keep the Pixel 9 and not upgrade.
Finally a code has shown. Open My Pixel App. Scroll the top pics to Pre order offers. First screen. Discount code shows. Or tap basket and go back and reveals again.
I have £150 discount code. Just got Z fold 8 so happy to share!
Just switched from a Samsung S24 Ultra to the Pixel 11 Pro. I wanted something that packed a punch and would be a little smaller and lighter in my pocket. I'm excited that Google offers there premium line without needing the largest screen.
I just got it today! Can't wait to try it out!
Just asking but why does everyone just talk about the pro model as if the standard model p11 is chopped liver. Same battery processor and ram. Only differences seem to really be the telephoto lense that's upgraded and some ai software tricks. I will admit the colors are better but a case is going on day 1 so its kinda a moot point. Anyways just curious about your thoughts
Hey everyone, looking for a quick math/reality check before pulling the trigger on the Pixel 11 Pro.
Currently daily driving a OnePlus 12 and looking to upgrade. Trying to figure out the most cost-effective route over a 2-year window:
Option A: Buy Unlocked from Google Store & Keep Visible
I’m currently locked into Visible’s promo rate at $225/year (~$18.75/mo) with unlimited data.
Trade in the OnePlus 12 directly through Google Store for instant credit toward the unlocked model.
Option B: Buy through Google Fi Promo & Switch Plans (Google store)
Take advantage of Fi’s 24-month bill credits / device discounts for new customers.
Trade in the OnePlus 12 through Fi.
Pay Fi’s monthly plan costs for 24 consecutive months to keep the credits rolling.
A few questions for those who’ve run the numbers recently:
Over 24 months, does the Google Fi device discount actually beat out keeping a cheap $225/yr Visible plan, or does Fi’s higher base plan cost eat up all the hardware savings?
This is what I've got of it. The HiLight looks quite crappy on camera but it was better in real life, which is mostly because I couldn't get my phone to focus.
The Pink looks surprisingly better in real life, but it's still something I wouldn't buy.
If anyone is wanting a discount, just subscribe to Google Play Pass = Insta upgrade to gold and you should have a coupon in the google play app within a day.
Although this is not a pixel fault, the new DSDA capabilities of the pixel 11 will not work on Canadian networks as the providers software restrict all phones to DSDS.
Only workaround is to have 2 SIMs, one on Rogers and the other either on Telus or Bell.
Bell and Telus SIMs won't work well together as they share the same tower architecture in most of Canada.
Another let down.
TLDR: those "employee referral" codes might get accepted by the order system, and they'll process your card, but then cancel the order.
Used a referral code posted here. Checkout went through fine, card got charged. A couple hours later, Google cancelled it. No email or notification. I went to the order system a bit later, and found it said "cancelled." Contacted support, and they said the code had already been redeemed by someone else.
These codes are single-use, but checkout apparently doesn't check that in real time. It'll happily take your order and your money, and only sort out that it was already claimed after the fact. "It worked at checkout" doesn't mean it actually worked.
I was on the fence about upgrading to another Pixel anyway, so I suppose this was the universe's way of getting me off the fence
