Linux (Omarchy) running on a Googlebook - Replacement for Google OS

Omarchy running on the Googlebook 14. Theoretically you could get most linux distros running on it with this path (though my build is specifically for the Asus). Way better than Googlebook OS tbh.

There is a loop in Googlebook that might make it fail

So like the loop is the consumers will not buy it if has no professional apps but to get professional apps on there it has to get marketshare so the companies that make the pro apps will put it on their but to get marketshare people have to buy it. That is the loop so yeah if google wants googlebook to sell well they have to break the loop, so I think wait until like a gen 2, 3 or maybe even 4 to see if it will have professional apps like creative cloud or it will just be discontinued, so what do you think?
(Just saying Googlebook os is the stupidest name for a os like ever if they couldn’t think of a better idea why didn’t they name it Aluminium os like googlebook os is so dumb and they should have named the googlebook, the G-book)

Is the Googlebook for me?

Yah, I on the fence. I have a Lenovo Chromebook Flex 5 that I am happy with. I waiting and pondering to get the Lenovo Googlebook Duet m. For the price, why not get a Galaxy Tab S12+ or S12 Ultra. In you Galaxy ecosystem logged into the same account you already have "Storage Share", so that's not new to me. I did get the Tab A11+ and have had other devices in the past. All to say clipboard share across devices. I can copy on my Tab A11+ and past in my S26Ultra using Samsung DeX. So the biggest plus I read on Reddit, is yes the Googlebook does support multi external displays were my S26Ultra can only do the one for DeX and nothing else. Another plus for the Googlebook is a desktop browser and not a Chrome app browser. I short how much tech advantage will I gain with a Googlebook over the Galaxy Tab S12+/Ultra for the price point?

To be honest, I do use my Samsung DeX more than my Chromebook too. So I do appreciate the Android ecosystem and shifting paradigm to an Android desktop, and not just phones and tablets.

Anyone's thought is appreciated in advanced. With todays technology and price points due to shortages I do believe this is a question to discuss.
