The gorge amphitheater camping

Hi driving to the gorge for the first time for griztronics. Was wondering how bad the camping line is and what the best time to get there is. Was gonna pull in later in the day probably around 5, should we aim for before that or later? Thanks!

The Gorge Amphitheatre will host a gathering of Christian nationalists this father's day weekend.

On June 19-20, the Gorge Amphitheatre will host "Freedom Con". It's an event being marked towards "strong men" with the goal of promoting "Christian Statesmanship" throughout the country.

The lead organizer is the head pastor of a Wenatchee based Church, Grace City. These folks have A LOT of influence in local politics and they do not shy away from allowing their religious beliefs from dictating local laws and policies. Their goal seems to be to expand their sphere of influence outside of their local community into state and national government.

My goal in posting this is to bring awareness of the event to folks who may not live in Eastern Washington and aren't being bombarded by all of the signs popping up along side the road. I'm not sure how much attention this is getting outside of Eastern/Central Washington. Also, in case it wasn't already apparent, I think Christian nationalism is bad and would like to keep it's influence out of American politics.

If you would like to read more about the event, here is the lead pastor's message about the event:

If you'd like to read some good reporting on the goings-on of Grace City Church and their influence on the local community I recommend looking into Dominick Bonny's reporting:

Camping arrival times

Camping opens Friday at 2pm, but if I couldn’t get there until 3 or 4 would I have like a bad spot? What’s the downside of not being early?

Camping at the gorge

hey yall, I’m going to griztronics this weekend and camping with some friends but need to drive separately from them and meet them there. Is it possible to park my car Friday night and walk in with my gear to meet them?

I don’t want to pay for an extra camping pass for my car. On the website it says parking opens at 1pm on Saturday.

anyone done this before/ know if I can park on Friday night and walk into my campsite?

First timer at the Gorge

Hey there!! First time going to the Gorge this weekend for Griztronics!! I’m so incredibly excited!! My group is unfortunately not camping and having to drive ourselves in from our hotel each day. Is the Star parking or paid parking better/easier to exit after or should we just rock the free GA parking? Thanks so much!

Griztronics Music Start Time

Does anyone know what time music will start and end? I'm trying to plan my outfits/layers with how hot/cold it will be from entrance to exit of the night!

Super excited for grizztronics but…

Now don’t get me wrong I am absolutely HYPED for the weekend and all the performers were gonna all see.

I am kinda feeling like it’s a bit poorly put together so far tho? It’s basically same pricing as any other 2-3 day festival but is starting to seem like it doesn’t have all of those benefits. Examples being lack of shuttle transportation, no wristbands (resulting in re entry not being allowed, then allowed, and now not allowed again), only 1 stage, etc….

Idk is it just me?

Private vehicle drop-off and pick-up for Rufus June 5

Can anyone share any advice and/or insights as to where the best spot is to be dropped off before the concert, and where to get picked up afterwards (for a quicker exit), if we're coming / going by private vehicle (and do not require parking)? Additionally, is it better to get to the venue from the north (off Rd. 1) due to the construction on the Vantage bridge if we're coming from Evergreen? Thanks!

Parking at camp question

I have a standard camping pass and my setup relies on being able to wedge my little jeep in sideways. Never camped there before and all the pictures have vehicles parked in uniform. Just want to make sure there’s no “rule” about how to park in your campsite

Premier camping question

Hey! First time at the gorge this weekend for Griztronics and super excited!

I got a premier camping pass, but have a friend who will be arriving later. I know the premier usually gives out wristbands of sorts to those in the car. My friend who is coming later is not bringing a car, just catching a ride to the gorge and she'll be camping with me. Is there a way to get an extra wristband when I check in, or something to make sure she has access to our campsite when she arrives?

Thanks in advance!

*Edit- premier camping pass!

How strict is the bag policy?

I want to buy a water bladder bag (not transparent) that exceeds the listed 9”x6” dimensions. It’s the rave runner one on Amazon. Will this be allowed in ?

Looking for someone chill to go to Rufus at the Gorge with

Hey everyone, kind of a random post, but I have 2 tickets to the Rufus Du Sol concert at the Gorge Amphitheatre on Friday, June 5th.

I was originally supposed to go with my girlfriend, but she recently got a new job and had to move to Dallas pretty suddenly. I still really want to go, but figured it’d be way more fun to experience it with someone instead of going solo.

It’s actually my first time going to the Gorge too, so if you’ve been before and know the ropes, that’s definitely a plus haha.

A little about me: I’m easygoing, love live music, and mostly just looking for good vibes and a fun night out. I’ll be driving from Seattle.

If you’d be interested in joining, shoot me a DM and maybe we can chat a bit beforehand!

Group camping for Griztronics question!!

Hi! Me and my friends are going for Griztronics and we have two groups and 2 separate campsite tickets. I have both of them on my mobile app. I was wondering if it’s possible for our campsites to be next to eachother (some fests I know it’s almost impossible to be next to eachother). Like if we are in line together (also don’t know how the line getting in works), is it likely they would put us together? Especially if I have both tickets?

Also if anyone has any info on when to arrive to get in line before camping opens that would be amazing!! Right now I was planning to get there around 8-9am on Friday. Is that too early or too late?

Thanks everyone!

Sleeping situation

Hey peeps!! I’m going to the Gorge for the first time for GRIZTRONICS!! I’m so pumped. Couple questions…

I was wondering what everyone’s preferred sleeping situation is? I’ve done some research, and I know not much sleep will actually be happening lol but do people prefer tents? Or I’ve seen set ups where they just have a second canopy with an air mattress to make a little “bedroom”. I do you think that can work, but I also worry if there’s any negatives to doing that. I definitely feel nice and safe and secure in a tent, but my air mattress doesn’t fit in it. Lol so basically the air mattress would be comfiest… but idk! Let me know what you prefer or any other tips for my group if you wish
