What's the biggest yellow number you've ever seen?

I'm not talking about lots of little 20s, I'm talking about one fat number.

Optimal player build for endgame hero way HM

Hey everyone,

I’m curious to what the optimal player build is for clearing endgame areas like DoA, UW, FoW on HM. (Ideally no cons or just an essence of celerity)

YouTube videos clearing these areas all seem to feature a HR paragon as the player. Is this the overall best? Or simply safest?

It looks like VoS derv, soul taker necro (not sure how viable in final areas with health sac), and toa rangers are some of the top damage dealers.

But what’s everyone’s favorite or thoughts on best player build to support hero’s through the toughest areas?

Returning player question

Hi! With mobile rolling out, I’m looking to start playing my 100 blades warrior again. It’s been many years so I have a few questions if that’s okay.

- I’m rather poor right now and I’m running the popular team build with 3 esurge mesmers, 2 riualists, BiP and a minion master. It’s unoptimized and I’d need to spend a ton on weapons/runes, mostly for the mesmers but also superior vigor for everyone. Is there any indication they’re planning to nerf this build or is it still worth investing in?

- I seem have like 500 lockpicks, is it still worth using them while vanquishing (which I plan to do a ton) or am I better off selling them and using the money on my build?

- I have my entire storage filled with gold weapons, upgrades, miniatures and tonics. Where can I find the value of these items so I know what to keep/sell?

- My goal would be to get the hang of things again by finishing the vanquishing and mission titles (hopefully earning some cash along the way) and then finally experience the endgame areas like DoA. Any tips or suggestions are very much welcome.

Thanks a lot and have a great time you all

nay suggestion how to fix this on gw reforged mobile?

It seems the ui is way too big and some of it overlaps one another. Anyway to make the ui 'fit' to the screen of your phone? Here's a screenshot

Tunnels of the Forsaken - Speed Clear Guide

What’s up, tunnel rats? After I got many questions, here and ig here is the full guide for soloing the new dungeon (with a little hero help for the key boss). As shown in the video, it is fully possible to do this with just a cupcake, but I would highly recommend getting at least a +10 Moral Boost and eating a candy apple for layer 2 and maybe 3. Watch the video carefully everything I do has a purpose (unless I get stuck somewhere). This version doesn’t require macros or summoning stones.

I’ve never been this drunk in gw before

This is on my iPad - if you drink anything you have to basically restart the app to see what’s going on

Edit: same on an iPhone. Though post processing toggle on/off works like on pc.

Anyone else have this experience?

I'm a returning player. I'm very excited about all these updates and the influx of players.

However, every time I login, I don't even play the game. I'm just obsessed with learning about the economy and buying rare stuff with the ectos I had from 15 years ago. And possibly selling items later for a profit, or just collecting them.

I think once I get a grasp of the economy and fully deck out my heroes I will start actually playing the game. But until then, I'm just staring at the Kamadan trade chat lol.

I'm just wondering if this is a common occurrence (problem?) with other players. The economy is so unique and interesting in this game! I don't think there's anything else quite like it.

GW: Reforged and regions (NA/EU)

I have an old account owning Guild Wars / Guild Wars Reforged, but it's apparently created for North America (was young when I set that up).

I live in Europe so my questions is:

Are Guild Wars Reforged region based on the servers or is it possible to jump between regions (NA/EU)? Or do I need to buy a new game for a Europe account?

PSA: Semi Customizable UI.

Hey all! I’ve got a small work around for the UI on Mobile. This will be for easier Menu Navigation/Quick Buttons.

Have to be on your PC first.

-Enable Drag Start Menu Icons

-Drag them onto the middle of your screen (if you put them somewhere else you’ll struggle to move them later as the Mobile UI overlaps, as you can see under my weapon select two icons are stuck)

-Log out of PC. I would wait possibly 10 minutes before opening the Mobile version as I had trouble with it saving the PC UI when I switched back too soon.

-Log into mobile. Press Menu (Three lines beside your mini-map for the first timers). Go to Options and then Enable Drag Start Menu Icons.

Hopefully this makes QoL a bit better until they have chances to roll out some updates!

Petition to Fix Rubber-Banding

Yeah, after losing Dhuum to rubber-banding, I think this should be #1 priority for ANET in Reforged. It's 2026. The game should not show my character 30 feet away completely safe when in reality my character is stuck on a ledge somewhere getting fisted by 4 Charr.

Petition to add new content to Elite Areas

With the release of reforged, addition of presearing content, game modes (melandrus accord etc) a new dungeon, new heroes, weapon skins, rare minipets and a litany of skill updates, we ask that devs add some new content to elite areas to make them feel special again.

While other areas of the game have been receiving some much needed love, elite areas have had no major updates since 2009, with some areas (fissure of woe & sorrows furnace) not receiving updates since 2005. This has given the community less incentives to learn and play these areas, as people have had 20 years to obtain their black chick moa / obsidian armor / etc. What's more, the tutorial areas are now dropping the big ticket items from elite areas. This is surely quite exciting for those who have been eager to get their hands on eternal blades / crystalline sword, but it has effectively killed a large portion of the communities desire to play elite areas. Why would you take the time to ascend, gear yourself and heroes appropriately, craft consumables etc to farm underworld when you could drop an eternal blade in the tutorial area for a fraction of the cost and time-investment?

All this to say, we ask devs to please consider adding new content to elite areas to make them feel unique and special again.

Necro player team

Hey peeps, im considering playing a MM necromancer for my next gwamm, I tend not to go with the typical 7 mesmerway team, does anyone have a fun but good team I could use as a MM necro? Thanks peeps :)

Best Merc hero team for Dervish for GWAMM?

Hello all,

Gonna try and get GWAMM and 50/50 my HoM. My fav gw1 class is devish by far. I have seen VoS and Pious Renewal seem to be the top builds, but which fits best into 'the best' Merc team to clear all content viable with mercs?

Gw1 has always been chill and I would like to do some endgame with players too but the bulk of GWAMM is solo so would love a solid team that's clears everything

Thanks xo

Edit: and what build would be best to use with said team? (Which I'm presuming is standard mesmerway?)

I Vanquished in area on Mobile, here are some notes / observations.

An area* oops.

Phone: Samsung S22, Android v.16, nothing extra recent.

I had no extra accessories/peripherals, just the phone.

I cleared Ice Cliff Chasms from Eye of the North to test out Mobile, as I knew it didn't demand intensive reaction time.

Time spent: about 1 hour

Battery spent: From 96% to about 66%, so around 30% used.

The screen really heated up during that time, especially the upper part (or left part where I moved).

Performance: Honestly about as smooth as you can get, I was surprised. Running around sometimes made me choppy, but otherwise buttery smooth. Just fine in combat.

Controls are definitely something else, you can pretty much only reliably target the closest enemy. No hotkeys means unreliable interrupt time (and tapping empty space on the screen by accident).

Moving around is easy and intuitive, easy to get out of bad areas (seeing the effect may be another story lol). I did not try to manage my heroes at all or try to flag them. That doesn't seem like it's quickly doable in time.

I didn't even try to manage inventory, I just grabbed everything and saved that for another day, lol.

Honestly, just having GW on the go is wild. I think this will be very fun for more laid-back casual content where you don't need to be at your A game, or when you don't need to manage a lot of inventory/hero stuff. Just log in and do quests and stuff. It works surprisingly well. Don't try PvP or anything lol

Some visual and UI hiccups, but none that overall ruined the experience. I know this is a trial run, so I'm quite pleased. Well done, ANet and 2Weeks!

Any questions, I guess? I didn't really do much other than the Vanquish.

Edit to add: I turned off my phone screen, and depending on how long I had it off, it either seamlessly returned to the game, or it said "disconnected, do you wanna try to reconnect?" And it managed to bring me back flawlessly.
I imagine it's a question of time.

I also completely turned off the app and closed it, then reopened immediately: same thing, I managed to reconnect in the area. Hurray!

Edit 2: file size atm is 1.57Gb. I then went and loaded Kamadan, Lion's Arch, Kaineng, and the size went up to 1.79Gb.
