Polish release of Lucky Number Slevin (sealed), doesn't even start.
Van Helsing from Universal starts, but after 5 minutes gets glitchy and is basically unwatchable.
Hi everyone! Some days ago I discovered that Heroes was released on this format and since i bought an xbox reader recently I searched around to find aaand, ta-dah! Now to check Which one works and which one doesn't.. also heroes is sealed, not gonna bother too muh keeping it that way tho!

Just for my own curiosity, I'm trying to collect as many as possible because they are safe bet, even WB titles (TMNT or 16 Blocks are great examples). I know that Ant Bully or Nutty Professor are HD15, but is there a full list anywhere?
I was playing with an old 360 and it had the HDDVD emulator software for testing HDDVD discs over the network, usb or burned to dvd. I can’t seem to find the companion app for the pc to stream it. I downloaded the 360 software when it was made free when everyone dropped hddvd support. Its still runs on this 360.
Does anyone know if and how this can be used to play hddvd files from a usb drive? Or where I could find the pc companion app for streaming one from a pc?
I also got 2 of the 360 external hddvd drives back then for $50 a piece when they went on sale. They also came with a think 5-6 free hddvds offers for each. They didn’t send me any I actually selected from the lists though. I think I got 2 copies of Norbit.
Thanks for any info or help. I mainly wanted to try this just for fun. I will try to play with it and see if I can get it to work from usb. This is a quote from the article I linked below.

Two weeks ago I found my first HDDVD player at Goodwill, and today I found my second! A friend told me to keep a look out for him so this is his. No remote again sadly. Pretty sure this Goodwill separates all remotes as I’ve never seen any player there with one. No movies either.
I bought forbidden planet but left it everything else
Really really really pleased with this weeks HD-DVD haul. Love the Stanley Kubrick set. A two discer for Clockwork Orange too.

Thought I would create a new post for my most recent Internet Archive contribution. "HD-DVD Archive #8" contains 10 additional ISO backups, including 8 Warner Bros. movies I thought were lost to disc rot! In order to accomplish this, I used multiple disc copies of the same movie to create a 100% complete ISO. I also relied heavily on my LG GGR-L20N drive which I extracted from an LG BH200 multi-format player. In some cases, I had to spend hours on a single movie, removing and reinserting a disc(s) 1-2 dozen times. Patience and persistence prevailed 60-70% of the time. Here are the ISOs in HD-DVD Archive #8:

So I recently purchased DVD sets of Baki the Grappler (2001). I’ve hooked up my old Toshiba once again but I get this message instead for some reason. What gives?
So, i'm from El Salvador (Central America) i'm pretty sure HD DVD never hit the Salvadoran market when the format war was in place between Blu-ray and HD DVD, i just bought this HD DVD from the Heroes series, it haves 7 HD DVD discs and some art work, i have to say the package looks AWESOME, i don't have an HD DVD player but im so happy to get this HD DVDs discs, now, my new mission is import from the US an HD DVD player to El Salvador 🥹
Hi guys just picked this up on eBay for a little around $10 which I thought was a pretty good deal for a sealed copy.
This is my first HD DVD I've seen with a slipcover case, which is pretty awesome! It also serves some function for protecting the case/plastic.
And yeah this is also a great movie, so definitely watch it when you get the chance. I felt that I had to pick it up on HD DVD for this reason. Absolute timeless classic.
