I took the Blu-ray artworks for "Bee Movie" and "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" and put them inside an HD DVD case to make a mock-up of what the HD DVD releases of these could have actually looked like.
NOTE: I know the Bee Movie HD DVD stock image used the artwork from the "Very Jerry 2-Disc Special Edition" DVD, but the Blu-ray ended up using the artwork of the single-disc DVD. Stock images are always "subject to change" though, so the HD DVD very well might have ended up using the single-disc artwork as well.
Introducing my toddler to this, though honestly I jist like it. So far she's mostly ignoring it, but I'm sure she'll like it eventually.
dear Drake and Josh fans I was wondering if anybody had any DVD and or original TV rips/recordings of the really early DVDs/episodes that might contain uncut and unedited version versions of episodes before they were changed for syndication or reruns
I'm an Adult account, how do I turn this off trying to play every HD DVD? Amazingly I can still remember the code, I just don't want to keep typing it.
Is this version in the picture the theatrical version? Or is it the director version? I am looking for the theatrical version with the original soundtrack. But I want to be sure. Anyone have this one and can confirm?
(excluding interactive HD DVD games like "Dragon's Lair")
I also included the animation techniques used by each film as well.
Also most of these are WB titles it seems (with "Beowulf" being distributed by WB internationally).
So I just started collecting over the past week and I have the results of my first acquisitions. I have the rotted vs the not rotted I am beyond disappointed that Batman Begins was rotted. I also find it funny that both Warner bros dual sided discs are working and none of the single sided Warner bros ones are 😂.
I do plan to pick up the HD DVD release of John Carpenter‘s the thing as I hear that’s better than the Blu-ray release in every way possible
So I tried putting a DVD into my PS5 and it gave me a message asking to change the DVD region. The message says I can only change the region 5 times total, even if I factory reset the console afterwards.
I’m really confused because I don’t want to permanently mess something up just to watch one DVD. Has anyone else had this happen? What should I do?
For context, my PS5 is from Europe and the DVD is most likely American (region 1).
Brand new sealed superman movie (hd dvd)
Warner Bros leaflet for the introduction of the HD-DVD / DVD combo discs. And the seastone.com Elite cases with the little “feet”. Still my favourite keep case. I’m a big slipcover fan but really didn’t mind these superb cases being “naked”
I gotta got the Xbox 360 drive soon, AND get some stuff off my computer, so I can back up my working WB discs, such as this one. But for the time being, I'm very satisfied. The seller also gave me a money-back guarantee if it didn't work. But it does, which makes that irrelevant (and when/if it stops working will probably be long after the return period has passed).
