Tengo una computadora HP All-in-One 24-dp0003la (placa base HP 86F1) con las siguientes especificaciones de fábrica:

• Procesador: AMD Ryzen 3 4300U (4 núcleos / 4 hilos)
• Pantalla: 23.8" FHD IPS
• Memoria RAM: 4 GB DDR4-3200 MHz (1 x 4 GB, tiene 2 ranuras SODIMM)
• Almacenamiento: Disco duro mecánico SATA 1 TB (7200 rpm)
• Ranuras adicionales: M.2 NVMe disponible
• Sistema actual: Linux

El problema principal es que al probar el equipo con Windows 11 o tareas exigentes, el rendimiento se siente muy pesado. Entiendo que el cuello de botella claro son los 4 GB de RAM y la falta de un SSD.

Actualmente estoy evaluando dos opciones y me gustaría conocer la opinión o experiencia de la comunidad:

1. Repotenciarlo para usarlo o venderlo mejor: Pensaba en instalarle una unidad SSD M.2 NVMe de 128 GB o 256 GB económica para dejar allí el sistema operativo (manteniendo el HDD de 1 TB para archivos) y colocarle Windows 10 u otro módulo de RAM.
2. Venderlo tal como está: Sin el SSD, con 4 GB de RAM y con Linux instalado (además de no contar con el combo de teclado/mouse original).

• ¿Alguien que haya abierto este modelo específico (serie 24-dp) sabe qué tan complejo es el acceso a la ranura M.2?
• ¿Consideran que vale la pena invertirle ~$15-$20 USD en un SSD básico antes de publicarlo en el mercado de usados, o es mejor venderlo directamente con un descuento?
• ¿Qué sistema operativo / distro liviana recomiendan para sacar el máximo provecho de estos Ryzen 3 con 4GB de RAM si mantengo el disco mecánico?

I'm looking for a laptop for college, and the omni book caught my eye. I don't play games super often but when I do I usually play gta or skyrim. Obviously the omni book isn't meant for gaming, but I'm curious if it will run those games well if at all. Thanks!

HP doesn**'**t respect blind and visually impaired people; if you told a dog to program a screen reader in the BIOS, it would do it.

I managed to get in and have taken out the ssd but I saw on the hp website there were three listed. Maybe it’s something else but wanted to check.

I urge companies to take action and develop a BIOS that meets the needs of the blind. The deliberate neglect by these companies has reached a point where it is unjust for blind people to remain trapped in a prison of independence.

Need URGENT HELP/ADVICE about my HP laptop battery.

My HP laptop (HP Laptop 15s-du1xxx) is around 5/6 years old. The original battery had worn out completely, even with basic use (I only use if for school, classes browsing etc nth fancy) it would go from 99% to 20% within 10 mins.

So I recently had the internal battery replaced( the service centre used MaxGreen LAPTOP BATTERY INTERNAL FOR HP HT03XL Premium quality which costed 4500tk [$36.67]) also added 8 GB RAM & Thermal paste so I spent 12000 taka [$98] for repair.

For 2 weeks laptop worked completely fine, could use it for 2-3 hrs (unpluged).

BUT NOW AFTER EXACTY 1 MONTH!!! SUDDENLY THE BATTERY PERFORMANCE BECAME TERRIBLE AGAIN. Now it goes from 100% to 20% within 30 mins!!??

Someone please tell me whats the actual issue???Did i get scammed??Did the service centre install a poor quality battery but charged me for a premium one??

I'll try to take it to the service centre asap but what should i do to make sure i dont get scammed again? will they fix it under warranty I AINT WASTING ANYMORE MONEY

MY laptop display keep going full black sometime, like last time i went to shop they said is because heat and amd gpu have those problems, but why????

I'm scared of telling mom this again, she thinks is because I'm gaming... I USE LINUX!! WITH WINDOWS DUAL BOOT, pls help can I fix it myself? Installed and driver. When I start laptop I see light and like left which indicates it's on, but laptop screen black, no matter what I do it don't fix, i reinstalled display drivers and stuff but this doesn't fix it, last time the guy said is soldering problem, he said there's like 64 small balls or something that he solder ( ik it sounds sus ), pls help!! I have an HP laptop that won't turn on. It is a Windows 11. Model Number: 14-dq3015dx.

When it is plugged in the light appears and it is a solid orange color, normal. There's no blinking. I have tried pressing the on button holding it down for 30-40 seconds and it's not turning on - I have tried it plugged in and not plugged in.

Last time I had it on was almost a month ago I had fallen asleep and woken up to it not turning on at all. I never messed with the settings so it would have fallen asleep when not in use.

Also to mention when it has fallen asleep before I've had a hard time waking it up it acted very slow.

I have an HP Pavilion computer, and I’m in a situation where my computer can detect Wi-Fi networks around it but can’t connect to them. It tells me it can’t connect to this network, and the problem is that my coursework is due in a week, along with the start of my engineering classes, and I really don’t have another computer available. Could you give me a hand and recommend some solutions? I thought resetting the computer to factory settings would fix it, but it didn’t make any difference....

Each time I tun off the computer, after turning it ON again, the camara isn't working. If I need to use the camara I fix the issue uninstalling the device through Device Manager and restarting. I wouldn't mind it but it takes facial recognition with it all the features related to it. How can I fix it for good?

It's a HP Omnibook X

I got an HP Omnibook 5 laptop for Christmas 8 months ago. It's been working fine, aside from 1 of 2 usb-c charging ports not charging the laptop. Recently, the laptop has not been charging with the functional usb-c port, and the charging ports now smells like burnt plastic when I take the plug out. I've tried multiple plugs and multiple outlets. The laptop is not charged right now and therefore cannot be powered on. is this fixable? It's unbelievable that I'm having this problem with a thousand dollar laptop that is less than a year old.

So fixing an Elitebook 840 G7. Storage is dead and had to replace. And this is where I'm at. Would like to get it back to factory defaults and not just put windows in it. Anyway I could get a Factory Recovery Media or a copy of a factory image of an Elitebook 840 G7?
