Harry runs to Voldy after killing Umbridge. He goes through I think 3 rituals to be a dark wizard... I might be mixing two fics but help please?

I remember this Fic wherein Harry Potter has a frog obsession and decorates his bunk bed in the Slytherins dorm with a cartoon frog, both the walls with posters and his sheets (or maybe a different character?! Could be a SI/OC, but I remember it being a pretty big deal exactly because for the first time ever he got a chance to buy his own stuff including sheets for his bedding at Hogwarts and stuff, which is why I think it was Harry Potter (that seems like the kind of thing that would happen if Harry figure out he had money and left the Dursleys or something?!)).

During the summer before sixth year, Harry isolates himself in Grimmauld Place after Sirius’ death. He barely leaves the house. He spends his days reading through the Black family’s library, searching for anything that might help him defeat Voldemort before the war inevitably reaches Hogwarts.

Instead, he becomes obsessed with something completely different.

As a child, one of the very few things Harry genuinely loved was modeling clay. Once, during an art lesson in primary school, he was allowed to shape something with his own hands. It was warm, soft, forgiving. He still remembers how satisfying it felt to create something from nothing. The Dursleys threw it away the moment he brought it home, but he never forgot it.

So Kreacher is understandably confused when Harry asks him to buy an absurd amount of clay.

A few awkward conversations and several suspicious requests for books on souls, Dark Magic and ancient Black rituals later, Harry has built a life-sized statue.

Of himself.

Well… a better version of himself.

Slightly taller.
No scars.
Straighter posture.
A face that actually smiles.

Harry tells himself it’s only because it’ll be easier to explain after a summer growth spurt.

It definitely has nothing to do with wishing he looked like someone worth saving.

His original plan is simple: create a magical duplicate capable of attending Hogwarts in his place while he stays behind searching for a real way to kill Voldemort.

Somehow it works.

Whether Harry unknowingly invents an entirely new branch of soul magic, accidentally creates something similar to a Horcrux, or simply performs a ritual nobody has attempted in centuries is up to the author.

The important part is that the clay breathes.

For two months, Harry teaches his copy everything.
How to answer questions.

How to act around Ron and Hermione.
How to survive classes.
How to fake being Harry Potter.

The problem?

Harry only teaches him the good parts.

He removes every flaw he hates about himself.

No trauma.
No nightmares.
No anger.
No guilt.
No paranoia.
No self-loathing.
No crippling instinct to sacrifice himself every five minutes.

The result is an incredibly kind, optimistic, emotionally healthy young man.

He’s also spectacularly naive.

Harry sends him to Hogwarts with one instruction:

“If Voldemort shows up, don’t do anything stupid. Tell me, and I’ll deal with it.”

For weeks, everything goes perfectly.

Ron comments that Harry seems happier.
Hermione says he’s finally sleeping enough.
Even Snape looks mildly confused.

Nobody realizes they’re talking to someone who has only existed for two months.

Nobody…

Except Voldemort.

When the fake Harry is eventually captured, Voldemort immediately realizes something is wrong.

This isn’t the boy he remembers.

This Harry is polite.
Hopeful.
He calls him “sir.”
He doesn’t argue.
He doesn’t glare.
He doesn’t bite back with sarcastic remarks.
He’s… nice.

And Voldemort hates it.

“Who are you?”
The clone, completely honest, simply smiles.
“I’m Harry Potter.”
“No.”
For the first time in years, Voldemort sounds genuinely offended.
“No, you’re not.”

Meanwhile, the real Harry receives the emergency message from his duplicate, sighs dramatically, grabs his wand, and mutters:

“For Merlin’s sake. I actually have to rescue myself.”

By the time he crashes into the manor to save his own clone, Voldemort is staring between the two identical boys with growing fascination.

Everyone else sees two Harry Potters.

Voldemort sees an imitation… and the original immediately.

Not because of appearance.
Not because of magic.

But because the real Harry Potter is still the only boy in Britain who walks into a room already looking for the nearest exit.

I'm looking for a post-war snarry fic that I read a while ago but can't remember the title.

Here's what I remember:

-It's post-war.

-Harry is very mature and calm. He never rises to Snape's provocations or lets himself be baited into arguments.

-The story begins with Harry going to Snape's quarters at Hogwarts to propose that they get married. I can't remember why the marriage is necessary (magical, legal, or something else).

-Harry is hiding a secret about his job/occupation, which is revealed later in the story.

-Harry is openly gay and had previously dated Oliver Wood.

So basically harry( the one from the au) was abused by lily and James( they r alive in the alternate universe) and raised to be a perfect spouse bcz of his abilities. After having a son with tom he finds out his son has the same abilities . He summons Harry ( og ) after coming to terms that he was going to die .Also another snippet is that he was part of a movement/resistance against Bellatrix (Tom isn't involved).

And a funny part is that Harry keeps ordering junk food for himself and their kid and Tom keeps losing his mimd

I very confidently said in a reddit comment that there were plenty of fics where Snape has jewelry (despite I have not read these myself). Perhaps I was projecting, as I adorned him in the Ugliest Veela and he has his nipples pierced in Snek Status. But surely in the realm of m/m ships, he is plenty adorned by many an author. In slash fantasy, wouldn't Snape adornments be just... a given? Canon Snape, maybe not, but surely, he has a ring he wears occasionally. A sterling silver chain. An ostentatious cloak with chains and clasps. A shiny pocket watch. An ominously sharp lapel pin.

I forgot to BookMark this fic and I wasn’t logged in so I can no longer find it. I didn’t get too far in but Draco is an auror and Harry keeps stopping at his desk to rant about his life. Everyone seems to love to speak to Draco and he doesn’t understand why until Ron points out it’s because of the chair by the desk so he gets rid of it but then has it replaced because he misses Harry visiting him. Also Harry is an Unspeakable and still dating Ginny in the begging of the fic but it is listed as Drarry so I imagine that doesn’t last. Draco also takes on a case that has something to do with gambling and quidditch I think.

•Sirius was the only one home and Severus needed potions that weren’t there
•I think he sent a patronus to Remus but I’m not sure
•Sirius used Padfoot to run to St. Mungo’s for potions
•I think he did this trip more than once
•It reminds me of To the Eyes, to the Light, in Safety by Barkin but I thought Sirius was still a convict, but maybe I’m wrong

This fic just finished and I really enjoyed it! Lots of Weasley family drama which is my favorite! It was pretty fluffy overall but definitely depth of feelings as well, good emotional arc. I loved some of the moments like George goes to his brothers for some advice on a lady, just lots of funny and great moments. Highly recommend giving it a read.

I'm looking for a Harry Potter/Tony Stark fanfic that I read a while ago and can't seem to find. This is quite niche so I understand it mught be hard to find.

Harry is in the middle of the Horcrux hunt during Deathly Hallows when he and Tony Stark discover they're soulmates. They periodically slip into each other's dreams, and I think they may also share some form of telepathic connection, though I'm not 100% sure about that.

I'm pretty sure Tony is in the middle of the first Avengers movie/timeline while all of this is happening.

One scene I distinctly remember is that the Avengers end up crossing over into the wizarding world after Harry, Ron, and Hermione escape Gringotts on the dragon. They meet up after the Trio jumps off the dragon's back and are on their way to Hogwarts to join the final stand against Voldemort.

The epilogue has Harry, Tony, and the Avengers accompanying the next generation through Platform 9¾ as they head off to Hogwarts.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? I'd really appreciate the title or author's name or have a copy that can be shared with me!

Nearly four years ago, I released my first longfic with ETL Echo, one of my comfort re-reads, Tea and No Sympathy, by the inimitable who_la_hoop. Even though I'd been recording audiobooks for many years by then, I didn't have my Drarry quite worked out like I do today.

So four years later, I bring you the remastered, re-recorded version, that somehow is a full hour longer??? Guess I've gotten slow in my old age.

And if that weren't enough, you're also getting a bonus who_la_hoop as well, the hilarious Draco Malfoy: Toilet Supremo, originally written for one of my favorite fests, H/D Fan Fair. Yeah. Okay. I would like you all to know that it's been two months since I read this and I'm still not over it and I can never read it again.

This could be canon. I could consider it canon. They could announce this as part of canon and I would not surprised. The characterizations are on point. The dialogues are on point.

The fucking plot points are on point, although they usually lead to more crying. My loves, you thought chapter >!38 !<was sad?? GET READY FOR THE WHOLE OTHER 40 CHAPTERS.

It's literally being in an WWE match, but you got pushed into it and you're not really equipped for it, and John Cena shows up and beats the shit out of you anyway. And just when you think "He's been beating the shit out of me for the last hour, there's no way it can get any worse than this" he somehow manages to beat the shit out of you even harder.

God. Anyway, angst lovers, this one's for y'all. This is a big, cold dunk into the reality of what could've happened if Harry was captured by Voldemort. Don't read this if you're not prepared to come out completely ruined on the other side

TLDR: The fic is a cinematic masterpiece and I adore it with all my heart. Some of these scenes will probably live with me forever. I'm probably never going to read it again. I might actually succeed in throwing myself off a cliff.
