Support system that stays with Harry. Sure, there are characters who were divided in the story, but there were characters who supported Harry and what he went through, I really liked that about the fic. Even if they go against Dumbledore's orders/advice/feelings.

Morally gray/somewhat realistic portrayal of what happens after something horrible happens. I loved Harry and Snape's characterizations the most in the story, but other characters like Draco and Sirius were also complicated in their personality, which was nice to see.

I like that we didn't really have the characters bashed. Sure, there was disagreement, but nobody was really bashed, I liked that. I think character bashing is rather lazy. Feel free to recommend me fics with character bashing if they match what I want with other things, but just let me know.

I love Ron and Hermione and love when they remain friends with Harry. I know that sometimes these are difficult to find, usually one tends to leave Harry, but if you can recommend any where Ron and Hermione remain Harry's friends let me know. If one or both leave, you can recommend them, just let me know please.

Completed preferred, but WIP or abandoned is okay, just let me know.

I don't go out of my way to read mpreg, but I have read some that are pretty good, that I was surprised by.

I'm not the biggest fan of character bashing, I find it lazy. I prefer complicated/complex characters.

I'm an adult, I would like to have an adult main character, but I won't say no to a child or teenager main character either. (For example the Harry Potter books are some of my favorites). Have also read The Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, Artemis Fowl series.

I love authors like: James Patterson, Mary Higgins Clark, Lisa Gardner, to name a few. Just to give you an idea.

Would also love more complex Albus Dumbledore, who isn't just a evil mustache twirling villain, and a more complex Severus Snape who is often torn with what to do.

I've read The Moirai and the Lair of Death and Vipers, it was so incredibly brutal, heartbreaking and amazing all in one.

I love how we get to see the more minor characters like certain Death Eaters interact, how we see the Order members feel about what is happening.

I love Harry, Ron and Hermione's friendship, so I was happy that they were with Harry, more than for Dumbledore. Too often they bash Ron and Hermione, or tend to just bash the Weasley's, which I just tend to click out of when that happens.

Now doesn't have to have everything I'm looking for, of course. Though loyal Ron and Hermione would be nice, if possible.

Childish moments are okay, Avatar the Last Airbender does have its childish moments, but it also talks about serious things in a way anyone could understand.

I was born in the early 90s and grew up in the late 90s to early to mid 2000s, so a lot of popular cartoons around that time I did watch.

Violence in shows is fine, I'm not usually squeamish with violence.

I'm sure that there all seasons have their bad chefs, but are there any seasons in particular that just have really good talented chefs on both teams? Bonus for little to no drama/catty behavior.

Just to name a few that I've watched. Doesn't need to be American. After watching some movies I noticed I enjoy British comedy for example. It can be from anywhere though, I'm not picky. If it's not in English I just need subtitles.

Animated shows are fine too, but I've also watched a lot of animated shows, so anything underrated/not talked about enough would be nice.

I enjoy thriller movies (particularly psychological thriller, but any kind of thriller is good for me). I'm looking for some thrillers not made in the USA. I was going to say non-English movies, but then I thought that there are English-speaking movies not made in the USA, so I didn't want to exclude those.

Some obvious ones (so hopefully people will recommend something else): Perfect Blue, Oldboy, Memories of Murder.

Something like The Office or Modern Family. Though, any genre is fine. It doesn't have to be comedy (though it can). It doesn't need to be anything like The Office or Modern Family, just in the Mockumentary genre.

I have heard of Agatha Christie, and I've been wanting to read her books. The only problem is, where do I begin? What books should I read first? What is everybody's favorites? What do you think is a top 5, top 10, etc list of hers? Help me narrow it down somewhat.
