Something to watch to keep my mind off stuff?

Currently going through some emotional and physical pain right now. Needing something to keep my mind off them right now.

I don't care if it's animated, live action, in English or not. I'm not picky.

Maybe something thriller, drama? Though feel free to recommend me other genres.

I'm not new to watching movies though, just to let you know. So if you think: Se7en, The Silence of the Lambs, or Shutter Island (For example) I've seen those.

I know that this is a movie subreddit, but feel free to recommend me tv shows.

Shows where a character laughs at their own jokes?

It doesn't have to be every time, can be sometimes. For example: Squidward from SpongeBob SquarePants or Chandler from Friends. Or Barney from How I Met Your Mother might not laugh at his own jokes, but he'll high five himself, which is also fine.

Can be old or new, animated or live action. Can be in English or in another language. I don't really care.

Fanfics that involve magical healing?

Post Hogwarts, would be preferred. But in Hogwarts is fine as well. Can be any pairing. Harry doesn't have to be the main character, just so you're aware.

Anybody can be doing the magical healing on the person, I'm not picky.

Can be a comedy, drama, or any sort of genre. Can also be from any decade, language, etc. (I'd be curious about non-English courtroom movies, actually, if anybody has any)

I've seen 12 Angry Men, Legally Blonde, and Liar Liar as far as courtroom movies go. It doesn't have to be 100% set in the courtroom, but it can be.

It doesn't have to 100% be about working/having a job. It can have other aspects of life in the movie. But, I'm wanting more movies that involve work/jobs.

For example, Office Space, or Network. Two completely different genres. The different genres are fine, any decade, language, etc is fine.

Think Avatar the Last Airbender (favorite cartoon), Gargoyles, Teen Titan (original), Kim Possible, Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Rick and Morty (I personally enjoy seasons 1-3 the most), Over the Garden Wall, Gravity Falls, Star vs the Forces of Evil Earlier seasons of The Simpsons and Family Guy, earlier seasons of SpongeBob SquarePants, etc. (Note I have no kids of my own, but cartoons can be a good source of entertainment just like anything else).

I have also watched a good amount of anime: Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Hunter x Hunter 2011, One Punch Man, Death Note, Erased, Psycho-Pass, Anohana, Your Lie in April, Violet Evergarden, Sora yori mo Tooi Basho, etc.

Can be any genre, setting, language, decade, etc. Bonus for girl main character, but male main character is fine!

Can be any genre.

I've watched British based movies and really enjoyed those, I was wanting some tv shows.

Can be any setting, or decade. Can be light or dark, can be quirky/oddball, I don't care.

Can also be cartoons as well! I enjoy a good cartoon.

I love sitcoms, it's my go to.

I'm looking for something like The Nanny, but feel free to recommend me something else as well.

Have also watched Friends, How I Met Your Mother, That 70s Show (though I did like it more with Eric), George Lopez, Roseanne, The Big Bang Theory (seasons 1-7. though the other seasons aren't bad), Mom, Mike and Molly, (90s) The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Good Times, Modern Family, The Brady Bunch, Gilligan's Island, I Love Lucy, Two and a Half Men (I liked it more with Charlie Sheen), I tried 2 Broke Girls, couldn't get into it, My Name is Earl, Raising Hope, Everybody Loves Raymond, Sabrina the Teenage Witch (Haven't watched it in ages, should rewatch). Boy Meets World (Forgot to mention this one)

And then cartoon sitcoms like That's So Raven, Wizards of Waverly Place, Drake & Josh, iCarly, Victorious, etc.

Can be any decade, setting, language, I'm not picky here.

I'm bored right now and want to watch a movie. The problem is, I'm not sure what to watch right now.

I'm wanting something that will keep me glued to the screen, I don't want to wander around, reach for my phone, or something else to distract me.

Can be any decade, language, setting, etc. I'm not picky here.

I'm not new to watching movies either. I've watched a lot of popular directors, but I've also watched some movies that aren't very popular outside this Subreddit (Like Coherence and Sorry to Bother You)

Found it! https://archiveofourown.org/series/1530506 Thank you /u/faefae13

Looking for a fic. It was a long Multi-chapter fanfic. Eventual Snarry. Harry writes a letter to Snape at one point in the story. (I can't remember if he sends it or not).

Harry at one point, ends up bring James, Lily, Remus, Sirius, Pettigrew and Dumbledore back from the dead to talk to them about Snape.

The Ministry was trying to make laws against creatures like Werewolves and the likes.

I'm wanting to say that the House Elves played an important part in the story. Harry made Winky part of the family. Dobby and Winky were an item?

An OMC came into the picture, it eventually became Snape/Harry/OMC.

The House Elves make their own clothes, I remember that Harry and co find out that they like to do it. Even make clothes for the humans.

Snape might be a creature in this fic? I believe that the OMC was also some sort of creature and realizes about Snape, or has suspicions about him being a creature.

I'm trying to Google certain parts, but nothing is showing up.
