The ad for this one had pics of it in just one pose, two pics of it propped at an angle against a box and one laying face down. Took a gamble on it and it turns out all the joints are at the ideal stiffness and it can hold all sorts of poses on its own.

Seller could have done to show this off in their ad, but I somewhat glad they didn’t, ‘cause if they did, someone else might have snapped it up.

Wanted to mention it’s an ideal candidate for a 3D modelling / 3D printing / custom project and well, wanted to show that off too. Feels kinda nice that they’re getting accessories again. 😁

(Even if said accessories are all unpainted work-in-progress models, printed purely to help with the modelling process and not intended to be their permanent pieces)

WetSanded a bit to smooth out print lines
Shaved the shoulder pegs and inside of shoulders to get a proper fit
Going to have to clean up the helmet I don’t have a steady hand at all 😭 and use a dark grey instead of chrome for the details, any tips or critiques are welcome!

Took figure apart as much as possible to paint each piece individually
Lots of masking to make sure undersuit was kept clean
Testers blue paint for lights

They look great with The SC Chief, I think they are pretty much perfectly in scale with each other. Also, these Brutes are beefy. I always thought it would have been nice for them to have leg articulation like the Halo 2 Elites, but I understand now that it's probably best for them to have a stable base.

I was making this for a Warhamer proxy for mucolid spore but man it looks like a flood spore.

All armor parts were modded to have pegs to remain interchangeable and all the weapons and grenades have magnetic attatchment points so they look/feel more game accurate

-Work in Progress, I still have about 12hrs to put into it. (Landing gears + detail painting)

-Built in preparation for a huge halo 3 mcfarlane stop motion coming 2027

-Not exactly to scale for Mcfarlane but works great on camera

So as some of you follow my journey I love and collect Halo Joyride Studios action figures and I was really sad/disappointed the Halo 2 Heretic Grunt from the series 8 never got officially released and there's only a handful of prototypes in the world. So I took it upon myself to bring it to life for everyone ! Ofc it ain't as good as the real deal but for something costum I'd say it looks great. Hello, I had a question on which method I should use to fix a play arts kai halo figures arm the joint seems to be connected to a separate plate that is then glued into place on the body. I was wondering if anyone would know if I should use tamiya extra thin cement on it for a more sturdy bond since it will be moving or just gorilla super glue gel would be fine.

Sorry if its a dumb question.
