Mid torso part replaced with a piece of foam with electrical tape wrapped around it. Mimics the shape of the original torso piece but it’s flexible allowing good articulation.

After a very long week of missing out on deals , hard times at home, and getting refunded on other listings just like this one. I thought I had finally found something that made me year. Woke up the next morning and was told my the seller it had already been sold to someone else instead, so I guess it just wasn’t meant to be chat. Nobody in my family really understood why I had gotten so upset , so figured I’d at least share this somewhere close

Picked these up today and wanted to share

Found this unopened McFarlane Halo 4 Cheif at a new Thrift Mall that opened in Phoenix, AZ. Only $12!

I've come to have a newfound appreciation for Halo 4, and I remember when it came out in 2012. The packaging is such in line with where Halo was in these times.

Overall, I like them. I don't regret buying them (even with the aftermarket price). However, they aren't without flaws.

A lot of the figures seem to have problems holding their weapons in a convincing way (and this may be a problem across the Spartan Collection), but it seems to me that the root of the issue is:

1.) no trigger finger hands. Now this might be me being more accustomed to G.I. Joe Classified, but not having a hand with a finger to loop into the trigger guard is a little awkward to me, not to mention it results in a less stable grip

2.) little to no waist swivel. I accept that the arms and chest are too bulky to hold the weapons straight (hell, the cosplay folk often have the same issue). But there isn't anything physically stopping waist rotation. Leaving the figures a little stiff without it

And make no mistake, these guys are still awesome, sculpts are solid, I love the way you can peg the weapons on the figures, chrome visors will never not be cool. But ignoring problems doesn't make them no existent.

I just don’t have room amongst my other collectibles and for Halo, I’m just keeping it to Master Chief as he’s one of my most favorite fictional characters. So time for someone to give this guy a better home. I need money for other things in life right now unfortunately so I’ll attempt to sell here first. Sold here before and it went really well.

Not really sure what to price him at, as no one is even selling him other than brand new sealed for $300 that probably isn’t selling because it’s over priced. Since mine is out of box and the Gravity Hammer has a tiny missing/broke peg somehow that is supposed to be used to secure it to the figure’s back peg hole, I’m thinking maybe $65 shipped (which I’ll only get around $50 after the fees and shipping)? Since there’s only a limited amount of him made and mine is in good condition (other than the Grav Hammer little peg). I’ll also throw in this little Grunt too as he deserves more love too.
Edit: Right shoulder is missing that little point to it. Mine must have came that way as all I ever did was pose him out of box. Frustrating just noticing that now. Had him for so long and kid me must not have noticed…

My First Custom Action Figure: Tucker from Red vs. Blue

Finally finished my first custom action figure!

I started with a Halo Spartan and repainted it into Tucker from *Red vs. Blue*. I mixed the armor color myself, repainted the undersuit, and added some subtle panel lining to bring out the sculpted details.

This was my first time using an airbrush and doing a project like this, so I learned a ton throughout the process. I’m really happy with how it turned out, especially after all the trial and error along the way.

I might even make a custom Energy Sword next using some glow-in-the-dark blue/purple paint.

I’d love to hear what you think! Also, who should I tackle next? I’m thinking Grif and Simmons, and maybe even The Meta.
