I love playing Halo Wars but I normally either play campaign or deathmatch against bots in skirmish. I have occasionally played standard but am not that great at it. I would like to both be able to confidently play standard matches and online matches. Some guides and strategies would be appreciated since I know slowly building up an army will get my ahh whooped in online matches
Heya! Me and my friends are gonna 2v1 and 3v1 today (I am the 1), and I feel like im pretty solid at the game. I know they like to play Cutter, Forge, Serena, and sometimes a Atriox is thrown in the mix. What leader do yall think I should play as? I'll take map suggestions as well!

Where I set a new record in Terminus Firefight with a 314+ million score with Anders.
Five months later, in June. The 2nd-place player beat my 314 million score with a 327 million score with Shipmaster. In late July, I started the grind to beat that score. One month later, on 8/24/26, I got a score of 339,216,064. Setting a new record.
Ever since then, I've been grinding for a 350+ million score. Which, I don't know if I'll ever get it, since if you want a high score in this mode. You need a ridiculous amount of good RNG to be on your side for most of the time. And for most of the time, all it takes is one bad wave to kill the run instantly.
BTW, if you play HW2 only on PC, and don't see me on the leaderboards.
That is because Terminus Firefight has 2 separate leaderboards. One for Xbox and one for PC.
I wanted to share some of the Halo content I made for the RTS game: Starcraft 2. ODSTs, Jim Raynor as a Spartan, UNSC and Covenant factions. Is any of this interesting? Is it worth further development?
I am trying to boost the Running the Show achievement with a friend but the matchmaking won't connect us. We are in different regions but I don't expect that to be an issue. We are both searching in the Deathmatch 1v1 matchmaking but it won't connect to any games, even though we are both looking for a game. Any suggestions?
I’m curious what everyone thinks now that Activision is going to run Halo what that means for Halo Wars 2? I enjoyed the introduction of Atriox and the banished. I’m seeing lots of people hoping they’ll retcon everything 343 has done since they’ve taken ahold and I can get behind that wholeheartedly but I’m curious if that includes Halo Wars 2. Will it be the only game they’ll leave out from being retconned from this era?
Hi, I recently got back into halo wars definitive edition after years. I used to main professor anders and mastered fast hornet/hawks usually to help counter the scorpion style plays of other UNSC leaders. I have attempted to focus on maining and mastering the arbiter. I manage to pull off fast banshees via double summit but most playthroughs, I have an issue developing tech levels quickly enough to keep my army compatible with the opponent. Does any more experienced arbiter main have a specific build order/ early game strategy going forward on maps such as fort dean to help counter triple UNSC/ turtling strategy’s as I am stuck.
