New to handhelds. Like advice between Lenovo Legion Go2 1TB, 32GB, Ryzen 2E ($1800 on market place) or Legion Go2, 1TB, 32GB, Ryzen 2 (1350 on Costco)
I’d be playing games like halo MCC, Red dead 2, and GTA.
Handheld Recommendations
Lately i’ve been having a hard time with my phone usage, and one thing that I feel like might help this problem is if I get a handheld.
is there a handheld that’s small like a ds but lets you play games like the steam
deck? as well as still lets you play retro games too.
My budget is quite low, and I don’t really know much about handheld. so I would appreciate any feedback and suggestions
FPS for Lenovo Legion Go S (OS)
I bought a Lenovo Legion Go S running Steam OS a few months ago. I love it. But I can’t seem to find the FPS I was hoping to play.
COD doesn’t run on it.
I finished Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 already.
Ground Branch could be fun, but only docked because of the size of the writing on the screen.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good FPS with a campaign mode?
Handheld gaming devices???
I bought a ps portal a while ago and immediately returned it because it was too laggy for me and we have pretty good wifi. I also heard that you have to have premium in order to stream offline? I play college sports so I am on the road a bit. For these bus rides I wanna be able to play you know mlb the show or this new lego batman game coming out. I think it’s absurd to pay 1300 for a streaming device because yeah I game but i don’t have the money to buy something that outrageous. I was looking at the gcloud and everything says it can play away from the playstation console. But I’m not sure how good the streaming is. I have a mobile hotspot and so i’m not looking for completely offline. Also I want it too so I can chill in my bed or downstairs away from the tv but still play. Does anyone have ideas? Do i try the ps portal again? Help!
The Visteon Gameboy advance dvd player
I got this a few months back for a really good price. I’ve mostly used it to play certain gba video roms on a flash cart which matches the color of the system. I plan on displaying it in the future though

youtube.comHandheld recommendation for large hands?
I am fairly new to handhelds and hoping for some recommendations based on my needs. Looking for any and all suggestions, thanks!
- Mostly looking for retro gaming (up to PS2 level), potentially some Steam/PC games as well.
- I'm 6'8" with very large hands. Feel and comfort are very important here. Definitely looking for something that feels both ergonomic and sturdy. Not necessarily the biggest device, just something that feels good for bigger hands.
- Looking for mid-level price, in the $100-300ish range. Don't need crazy performance.
- Strongly prefer a horizontal handheld, but open to suggestions if there's something else that works better for you.
- Reliability and ease of use are important. Averagely tech savvy. This would be my primary handheld for at-home-use only, e.g. on the couch.
I've been looking at Odin 2/3, Retroid Pocket 4/5/6. Definitely open to alternatives. Thanks again
Guys should I get new 3ds xl, Ayn thor or retroid pocket flip 2 for modern gaming? (in a budget too btw)

What is a good option to start?
Hello all. So basically I’m entering a new chapter of my life and was just curious about possibly getting my hands on a steam deck (or equivalent) or possibly a switch 2. When I was younger I had WiiU and I was constantly using the handheld controller more than my tv. I’d get comfortable on the couch and put my headphones on and just play like that. And yes before that I had a DS and gameboys so handheld gaming is nothing new to me. My wife bought me a switch a few years back and I have about enjoying being able to just sit anywhere and play. I am a PC guy as well but have been really thinking about potentially down sizing to a handheld due to me becoming more of a casual player. I still have my days where I’m grinding for exp or resources for hours but I do not play nearly as much as I used to. I’m not completely sure if I want to make a hard switch to handheld only just yet but I’m curious to know what might be a beginner handheld for someone like me. I guess in a way like a cheaper option that would allow me to test the waters if I want a handheld or not. I do have my switch but unless they are Nintendo/ optimized I don’t really bother so I haven’t had much luck testing out games on my switch without running into cloud connection or optimization issues due to the limitations of the switch. Any suggestions are welcome!

Legion Go S - Windows - Why the Hate?
Much as I appreciate people's opinions and challenges with any tech. device before buying, I read many horror stories about the Legion Go 2 Z2GO w. Windows before buying. Due to Steam Deck always being out of stock, and other offerings now skyrocketing in price, I recently snagged a Go S with Windows. I really, really, like it.
The mouse pad works great, I use it like I would on my home PC mouse. I read it was worthless and non-functional. Hell, IGN gave this PC a 6/10. So many others said it was "wrecked" just by having Windows. Speaking of that, why the complaints about Windows on this device, but the same people have a PC running the same OS? It's just that. A on the go Windows PC. I fire it up, open Steam, XBOX Game Pass, or even the software I find to be great, Legion Space. All if this seems like if I was on my newly built PC rig. Is there a reason why so many say Windows is treacherous on this device, yet we all have Windows machines for our home PCs to game on?
I hope more people at least try it out. I got mine new from Amazon for $720, and it's been really nice. Playing my Steam games on the go, and using it just like a PC to at time, watch a show or whatever suits me.
