Dune 3 or Sylenth 1 for Hardstyle?
I'm thinking about picking up either DUNE 3 or Sylenth1, but I can't decide.
My main goal is making really thick Hardstyle leads. From what I know, Sylenth1 has been the go-to synth for Hardstyle for years, and there are tons of preset banks available. On the other hand, I've seen a lot of people saying that DUNE 3 is actually the better synth overall.
I also want to produce a lot of uplifting trance, especially big atmospheric pads and lush sounds, so versatility is important too.
If you had to choose only one, which would you go for and why? Is Sylenth1 still worth buying in 2026, or is DUNE 3 the better investment? I'd love to hear from people who have used both.
