I’m enjoying my new Flex Prime. 

A few questions, please.

1. I downloaded many NAM captures.  But now I don’t know which are Amp+Cab and which are just amps (that require a separate cab).  Is there a way of tagging which is which in the device?  Or do I have to go back, look up which is which for all that I downloaded, and rename the captures accordingly?

2. For many NAM captures, the device was captured at different settings (e.g., an amp can be captured at different gain levels).  Is there a way to “download all” for a NAM device?

3. I’ve read that Headrush’s pitch shifter causes latency.  How bad is this problem?  The pitch shifter is a primary reason why I chose the Flex Prime.

4. Is there any way to normalize volume across all rigs?  If not, are there best practices for adjusting volumes of different rigs to match (i.e., are there certain devices vs. other devices in the chain for which I should adjust volume)

5. My Flex Prime sounds great but I’m about to compare it to a Line 6 Stomp XL and keep the better one.  Any advice for deciding?  My complaints about the flex prime are that I don’t like how the desktop editor is Wi-Fi, I’ve heard the pitch shifter causes latency, switching rigs has latency, the Headrush cloud repository is smaller than I’d hope, and I’d like another footswitch or two.  Though the Flex Prime sounds great.

6. There are several AI applications that recreating guitar tones from songs.  Which do you recommend?

7. I am a novice to gear + dialing in tones. For example, it was a revelation to me that some amps have distortion, other don't and distorted tones may or may not use the amp's built-in distorion solely and/ore in combination with a distortion pedal. Given that I'm such a novice to tone construction, how can I learn to dial in tones effectively?  I especially struggle with choosing amps/cabs given that the amp I want depends on the cab, the cab depends on the amp etc.

Hello everyone, the flex prime looks like a great upgrade from my hx stomp. Im looking to run captures of my thall amp presets for live settings. My question is, 1 how great is the pitch effects, specifically does it track well for lowering your tuning. And 2, is there a way to set your switches to have a snapshot of your chain to each button, and also have one button have a dual function of activating the tuner possibly by holding the button for an amount of time. Im fine having 3 sounds at a time but i would also like to acess my tuner. Thank you all in advance

Looking to upgrade my setup. Don’t have any speakers I can play out of so the idea was to run a good set of headphones(currently have skull candy ANC that need to go) and was looking at the 770. For those of you that play into headphones do you have issues with 250ohm vs 32 etc? 80 was suggested by a buddy, but I wanted to check with you guys first. Christmas is the plan for a flex prime. I have an audio interface for the time being with an STL plugin on desktop. I do feel like directly from the flex would be better, but wanted to run this by everyone before anything was set in stone.

Headrush cloud needs a little extra love.

I don’t understand the logic behind editing scenes. When I edit a block in a scene and choose 'No Preset', which block preset will be loaded? Obviously a preset of the block will load, but which one?

How do you achieve unity gain on a HeadRush Prime with a completely empty rig going directly into the front input of a guitar amp?

The setup I want to compare is guitar straight into the amp versus guitar into the Prime, then the 1/4-inch output into the same amp input. The Prime output is set to AMP, with input gain and rig output gain at 0 dB, and no amp, cab, effects or volume blocks.

Where should the physical Main volume knob be set to match the level of the guitar plugged straight into the amp? Does it need to be fully clockwise to achieve unity in this setup?

Has anyone actually A/B tested or measured this on a Prime? I’m specifically asking about the front input with AMP-level output, rather than an effects return, FRFR speaker or LINE-level output. An official specification or repeatable test would be really helpful. Thanks!
