My Henry 30-30 and my second deer ever.
My first was a fork buck with a muzzleloader.

Have any of you other Long Ranger owners run into this issue? Is this something I need to be concerned about?
I just got this like 2 weeks ago from Sportsman. Working on mounting scope & my 14yo noticed it.
The teeth under the cycling mechanism is rubbing against the hammer.
As of right now I only own two Henry rifles. The top one is my 38/357 caliber steel carbine and the bottom one is my Cold Case hardened 45 caliber carbine.
I have recently retired so I plan to enjoy these a lot more in the coming months.
I’ve been looking for one of these since they came out. Out of stock everywhere…every time I looked. Went to my local gun store today for some ammo not planning on getting a rifle. I had pretty much given up on getting one of these then something caught my eye as I walked past the rifle section. I couldn’t let this one go. Guy at the counter said they had just got it in and put it out on the rack like an hour ago. Can’t wait to shoot it! I already ordered the matching picatinny rail from egw.
Finally got my hands on a bandit in 22. I’ve had these parts waiting ever since I heard they were coming out. I learned to shoot in a base model Henry 22 and this thing hits on every single nostalgia note. The fit is surprisingly nice and I really like the updates on the furniture. I’m 6’3” and it fits fine. Cheek weld is perfect height for my optics setup. I have a trijicon rmr sitting on top of this really cool mount I’ve been waiting to use for years, made by anvl (anr designs holsters) which is PERFECT in height, but also because it has built in backup cowitness sights- yes, it’s a very short sight radius, but it’s better than nothing which is exactly what this gun would have without it. It’s capped with a dead air mask supressor. It’s pure fun and legitimately makes a grown man giggle with every whisper quiet shot.
Thought yall would enjoy this build since they are fairly new.
Hello all! Here I am doing more weird shit to my lever gun. I decided i wanted to replace the wood stock and found RPP had a pistol grip w Pic rail, which i love. So now im looking for which stock I want to put on it.
So here I am, reaching out to the various collectives to see what folding stocks are recommended. I have included some options I gave found and think I like, but feel free to add more to look at. I am hoping this to be an ELR build, and I would prefer a minimalist looking stock. I would need some real good reasoning to want to go over $350-$400 for a stock.
The first picture is the rifle: a henry lever action supreme, converted to 6ARC by line49, with their 16in medium weight match barrel, in RPP furniture. Currently with a magpul UCS folding stock. This works fine but is a bit thick for what I want.
2nd is probably my favorite; Midwest industries alpha series stock. This has a lot of adjustability, a solid looking cheek rest, and it's pretty thin and flat when folded.
3rd photo is A3 industries ALM with an offset. This is probably the most minimalist stock I like and is incredibly adjustable. I like the offset, but you could get it with a straight arm as well. The xeno cheek rest is not my favorite, but it is very functional.
4th is what appears to be a fairly new option: Samson's SAS. Very minimalist, probably the least adjustable of the ones i like. Comes in a -K version that I would probably get for the shorter length.
5th is the magpul Zhukov. It's a little slimmer and slightly more adjustable than the UCS i have, but it's still not great.
If you have other favorites or ideas, please let me know.
Sold for $990usd. unfired with RPP goodies. Basically gave them for free. 😅
That magtube tenon is a pain… 😭
Got my rail mounted, cheap lpvo on. It's got such a long eye relief that I had no choice but to mount it like this. It seems like it may have been designed for a scout rifle setup. It's actually still too far back, but it will do for now. Taking it up north to some crown land ranges next month to put it through its paces for real. Interested to see how it will do over 200m. I'll be getting a real optic for it after this trip.
Groups are both 5 rounds at 25 yards. If I took more time I'm certain I could put all 5 through the same hole.
Very happy with it so far. Naming it Lorraine.
- Woox Bravado stock
- Holosun 510C on a Henry pic rail
- GatMonkey sling on Magpul qd hardware
- 22lr quiver, mlok handguard, vertical grip, arisaka indexer and rail covers are all 3D printed in PETG
Eventually going to get the Woox Bravado handguard and real arisaka products but I wanted to test out how it would feel/ shoot first.
Henry 357
Chisel stock with hoptic longbow
RPP pewview handguard with RPP 8 round quiver
507 comp on Amazon pic mount (pretty good for $$$)
Layer X strake 9 can
Tickles my tism in all the right places, just needs a surefire or a Modlight and pressure pad
I found this on the inside of my trigger plate when replacing my trigger spring in my H009GCC. Has anyone ever seen this before and if so, what does it mean?
Man, this is beautiful!!!! Burnt bronze is so pretty!
Hey everyone, I just bought a new Big Boy brass carbine in .44 Mag and was very excited to take it to the range yesterday. Unfortunately it was shooting about 12 inches high at 50 yards. I was shooting 240grain Federal American Eagle. The rear buckhorn sight was already in the lowest possible position from the factory, so it couldn't be zeroed.
Should I just get a taller front sight or swap it over to a peep sight?
Hey yall I've been considering getting into the henry long ranger for a while but the low magazine capacity has turned me off it alot, does anyone know how hard it would be to have a gunsmith/custom levergun maker modify the rifle to take AR 10 magazines and or stanag mags if I end up with a 223/5.56 rifle.
Kind regards :)
so sorry for the late reply had exam projects
