The Witcher 3 Remaster - Heroic games launcher 88GB update
I downloaded remaster update 5.0.0b right when it was released. I played it till yesterday when update icon was shown. So I started to download and noticed it is 88,63 Gigs? It is some kind of bug or what?
How many GB it was on steam version
Edit: I am talking about hotfix patch from 5.0.0b to 5.0.0c

"Flatpak Operation Failed". NEED help with Decky-LSFG-VK with heroic games launcher.
Hi Folks,
I've had my steam deck for 2 weeks now and I'm loving every min of it. I got lossless scaling and was using it through the decky Lsfg-vk plugin and it works wonderfully on my steam games.
I tried to get it to work with my non steam games and when i go to the flatpak tab and enable it for LSFG-VK, it ends up giving me an error.
I'm specifically trying to get it to work with guardians of the galaxy from the epic games store.
All your help is appreciated.
EDIT:
With the help of the people in this subreddit! I inserted this command into the terminal after switching to desktop mode:
"flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub
https://dl.flathub.org/repo/flathub .flatpakrepo"
That downloaded the flatpak for decky version 25.08 and it solved my issue, and decky lsfg works well with games from heroic launcher now and I'm getting a good framerate on guardians of the galaxy.

Can’t get the Witcher 3 remaster (or classic) to run on Arch Linux using Heroic Launcher
Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but as the title says.
I have an nvidia RTX 5070, 12 Core CPU and 32GB of RAM. I update my arch regularly, I’ve got the latest Nvidia drivers (615.71.09) and kernel (7.2.7). Heroic launcher has been updated to the latest version as well.
When I first installed the Witcher 3 (classic) more than a month ago I could play it for a few seconds before a crash. I played around with turning settings on/off switching directx version and using older proton versions. Using older proton versions helped increase playtime to a minute or two. I stopped and decided to try again when the remaster drops.
After the remaster, I reinstalled the game from scratch, I get no-where. I don’t even get into the main menu of the game anymore.
It just says “playing” with no rendered game screen.
FYI - I can play other games fine with maxed out RT and DirectX12 features.
EDIT: after completely uninstalling the game, deleting all configs and then uninstalling heroic game launcher completely. Followed by reinstalling everything worked!

Installation Issue
Hiya,
I was trying to install a free game via the Heroic Game Launcher but ran into an issue.
I copy & paste it in the the terminal but i get the following error message. How to fix this plz ?

Rocket League Crashing Cause Of Memory Leak
I recently switched from Windows to Linux Mint on my Dell Laptop. Tried to run Rocket League through Heroic and it wasn't working. Putting this here so it helps someone with the same problems.
First Mistake: I had "run in offline" mode selected so Epic authentication didn't work and I got stuck in the "Press any button to continue" screen.
Second Mistake: Not really a mistake but the game kept crashing cause of EXTREME memory usage (something with EAC i think). Worked by "increasing swapfile size" (not sure what that means) by running these commands in the terminal.
sudo swapoff -a
sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/swapfile bs=1G count=8 status=progress
sudo chmod 600 /swapfile
sudo mkswap /swapfile
sudo swapon /swapfile
Ran these commands and the game started working pretty much as it did back when I had it on windows.
DISCLAIMER: I'm not entirely sure how these work so use at your own risk.
