Macpac Nitro Fleece Pullover

Looking for info for Men or women that have bought the Women's version of Nitro Fleece Pullover. The pocket on the men's version is a waste of space for many reasons. The women's top is a clean cut and a much better garment.

Anyway, looking for sizing info from anyone that went this way. If so, can you tell me your height, weight, waist etc, then what size on the women's top did you buy please? Everyone reports it sizing is very small, go up 1-2 sizes. For anyone interested they are on sale at the moment for $90.

Ladies! I need some solid recs for mid to high-waisted hiking pants

I've been avoiding this task because I knew it wouldnt be fun, but with three weeks to the day that I leave, I'm running out of time to safely buy online if i need!

I normally wear shorts on all my hikes, but I'm going hiking in Central Asia and Georgia and I really do need proper hiking pants.

I went into Macpac to try some on today and I could not handle how low waisted they were. It was like being transported back to 2007. It means they're not flattering (on me), but I also dont find that comfortable - I want something closer to the smallest point of my waist so there's less chance they'll fall down 😆

I'm 174cm and normally wear between a 10 and 12, under $150 is ideal but would push that up for an unreal pair, bonus if i can unzip em into shorts. Extra bonus if i can find them in a bricks and mortar so I can try before I buy. More of a mid- to high-waisted style.

Pls and thank u 🙏

Unknown Hike in WA - The Yonga Trail

Over the weekend I headed onto a relatively unknown trail here in WA, it's located in the Lesueur National Park - the Yonga Trail.

Yonga means Kangaroo in the Noongar language, adding some wicked cultural significance.

Well worth checking out if you haven't! Let me know if you've hiked it, would be keen to hear your thoughts.

Are the Amazon NeoAir Xlite Sleeping Mats legit? So much cheaper than local suppliers?

Hi all, in my quest to update my gear, I am researching sleeping pads. After reading a gazillion reviews I'm thinking about the NeoAir Xlite or Xtherm. Planning to head into Snowy's tomorrow to test one, but have seen that theyre significantly cheaper on Amazon from the US.

Is this legit / are these the newer and less noisy models? https://www.amazon.com.au/Therm-Rest-Ultralight-Backpacking-Sleeping/dp/B0CS4NHPVP/ref=asc_df_B0CS4NHPVP

The internet has me questioning everything that seems to good to be true 🙃🫠

Can we camp offsite at Grampians Peak trail?

So I know there are paid camping sites (50$) a night, planning a 5 day round trip with 7 mates (we will stop halfway and return the way we came) and someone told us that around the official campsites on Grampians Peak Trail there's a small exclusion zone with no camping so obviously not camping there, however it's okay to camp outside this exclusion zone and out of harm's way as long as we are quiet. Is this considered alright or are there consequences and is the 50$ a night the way to go.

first overnight hike trail recommendations - NSW

have done a fair few decent length day hikes, planning to do an overnight hike for the first time within the next few weeks. going with 2 friends!

anyone have any recommendations for a good trail? wild camping is fine. looking at blue mountains currently, possibly mount solitary or lockleys pylon (seems there is a closure, but possibly an alternate route to get there?).

mainly chasing some cool views - mountain top camping would be awesome.

tia! :)
