It's my first time making a countryball.

I’ve heard it suggested by some that if the Ottonian line hadn’t died out, they would have centralized the HRE like the Capets did with France. I don’t know how much I believe that but I do wonder, particularly in the case of Otto III, that if he had realized his ambitions he could have furthered that aforementioned centralization project that never really materialized in our timelines HRE. Do you think it ever could have been possible to centralize the HRE? How is the trajectory of Christianity affected by a persisting Ottonian Dynasty? Would the HRE have stayed elective in this timeline or would it have switched to primogeniture like France did? What do you guys think?
