Baikal MP153 cracked piston

Recently acquired a used Baikal MP153 12GA, discovered during cleaning the piston/action sleeve has a crack? Anybody have a lead on a replacement as parts domestically are like hens teeth or a CNC shop who could handle this? Replacement part doesn’t need to be chromed clearly, or is it safe’ish to run? Concerned about PSI contained and how close my hand would be to it, any help appreciated. Thanks

Slam fire shotgun

I want to build a slam fire like this. Do you think I will be ok by just using a 3/4 inch pipe as the barrel and a 1 inch pipe as the chamber pipe? Or do you think i probably gotta use a 1 inch pipe around the 3/4 pipe and then weld them together so they can hold more pressure and then a 1 1/4 inch pipe for the chamber pipe so it can hold more pressure. And also, how much pressure do you think will be lost when shooting 12 gauge shells because the shell doesn't fit tight but its rather looser than a normal shotgun and because some of the gasses will escape around the wad and shot.
