Just tested positive for THC. Had a short convo with my PO making sure mental health is ok and I’m not abusing it. She said it’s ok and wallah. I walked free

NJ probation
Currently on probation in NJ but transferred through ICOTS from Maryland. My PO said I can smoke recreational marijuana because it’s legal and I don’t have an order requiring sobriety. I don’t have it in writings should I trust it?
