Need help with Firebird dragster.
I was just curious if there is a difference between the McDonald’s Firebird dragster, and the one you could just go by at a store?

Currently my goal with Crack-ups is to get an example of each casting, then I will work on variations. Of course I won't turn down a good deal on a variation, but, ya know. Lol
Blister on the Malibu is cracked, but the card is in decent shape and I love when things have the original price sticker. The Forebird being unpunched is a nice bonus.
The good ol' days of Hot Wheels Fantasy castings
I found this Geoffrey Bronco at a local thrift store in a case of other (largely destroyed) blackwalls last year. It's not in the best shape and is definitely high-mileage, but cool nonetheless.
Found this several years ago (2009 I think) at a used entertainment store in a box of loose cars. It stood out to me because it was an unspun in descent shape. The only issue was it was missing the windows so I had taken the 2010 Slick rides Mickey Thompson van’s windows to use for this one. I haven’t bought my self to destroy a near mint Baja Breaker to have the correct windows. I’m surprised how well it it appears and how it didn’t end up in the trash back in the day for being a “broken” toy since unspuns were not exactly something to keep as they are today.
Pick this up at the charity auction a few years ago, Larry Wood had a cage at Mattel and all the cars were organized by trays like this and they auctioned off some of the trays in a big lot. Acquired the Doozie one from that and filled it with the green Doozie as it was specified. Something silly, but something cool too.
There are 7 color variations of the Racebait 308 Color Racers/Automagic. In the order of their individual photos:
IMO the dark purple one in its cold state (pic 1) is one of the most beautiful cars Hot Wheels has ever made.
There are 2 base variations. They're most easily identified as:
Stackability rating: 2/10 🤢
These really suck for stacking (pic 10). It took some effort to balance just 3 of them. These would have been 1/10 were I unable to stack a 3rd car, and it was close.
Alright everybody, we hit a milestone, 100 members in two weeks!!! To celebrate I am going to give away the cars shown in the picture. The rules are simple;

I need some advice. This was a recent whatnot score, and other than some gummy residue on the hood and a little bit of paint on the plastic lights above the cab, it's looks like a blister pull. Any advice on removing the stuff on the hood without damaging the paint? Ill probably test on a beater.
Found both of these around a year ago and got them both for $12. Cards are a bit rough but cool nonetheless!
