Review on Petal Maps, loyalty and boarding passes on your watch

Hi there,

 

I’m still debating whether or not to get the GT 5. My only concerns are:

Petal Maps: What does it look like? Do you have to download it on your phone, select your destination, and then receive directions on your watch? Or does it mirror the map from your phone onto your watch?

Cards: My understanding is that Curve also supports loyalty cards, but what about boarding passes? Are there any workarounds for adding and using them on the watch?

 

I have an OPPO phone. Would the watch work well with it?

Strange Kcal tracking on GT 7 Pro

Upgraded to the Watch GT 7 Pro from the Watch GT 6 Pro and there seems to be a major inconsistency between daily Kcal.

Pretty much my daily activities on the GT 6 Pro would often see me hit 200 Kcal before 1pm just from walking and household chores. Even work stuff. I would even hit 200 Kcal way before hitting 5000 steps.

But on the GT 7 Pro, this normal “daily active burning” seems to be very very low in comparison. Like today I’ve done over 6000 steps and the Kcal has barely moved.

I’m not sure to pass this up as “better sensors” and perhaps the GT 7 Pro reading is more accurate which has resulted in lower numbers, or if there’s something wrong and it’s just not tracking properly.

Workouts and stuff seem to be fine, it’s just outside of working out, I just feel like the watch isn’t picking up walks and daily movement.

Anyone else have the GT 7 Pro and can share their daily normal movement tracking?

Huawei Watch 6 - Gmail and WhatsApp

Hello,

I am between a Huawei Watch 6 and a Samsung Galaxy Watch9.

I know Samsung has better apps, but I wonder if I need all the features.

So far, I am concerned about Gmail on Huawei.

I work remotely and I receive messages on Google Chat from the Gmail app.

Can I see them and reply on the Huawei Watch 6?

Are there any limitations I am not thinking now about choosing the Huawei regarding these apps?

This is G Navigation, an app that show GMaps navigation with an actual map and on watch call support for multiple messaging apps such as Viber, Zalo, Telegram, Messenger

Yes I know this is an amazfit screenshot, but it also supports huawei watches. It currently supports both ios, android and is still being actively developed. Yes, you need to purchase premium for all the features but it's a one time purchase and pretty cheap. I highly recommend checking it out.

GT Pro 7 Reinicia cada 3 minutos

Acabo de comprar el reloj y hace 3 días hubo una actualización de Firmware Harmony 7.0.0.109

y desde ahí se reinicia cada 3 minutos.

Lo compré en la tienda oficial de Huawei en línea en México y ya sido todo una travesía para hacer válida mi garantía.

Estoy apenas en el primer paso donde se tuvo que mandar evidencia a un correo y llevo 3 días y no me contestan.

El centro de atención no me lo quiso cambiar que porque le corresponde al departamento de Venta en línea.

Ya hice todo borre la app, borre el caché, regrese a configuración de fábrica el reloj, lo volví a vincular.

Lo tengo conectado a un Samsung Galaxy S25 ultra

Alguien que me pueda ayudar, uno confía en la marca y su servicio al cliente es una mierda.

Help me please

So I had a used Huawei watch gt3 but the crown started misfunctioning after some paprika or water got inside somehow. After Claude told me to wash it and press the button while rinsing it with water claiming it's what huwawei recommends, I did it (I know I should have checked but the source was huawei's site) and now it doesn't work without being plugged in. I also tried buying a new battery.

  1. Is there any last free fix I can try? 2. Is the gt5 any better or more durable? 3. How much can I sell it for parts

Quando o Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro será atualizado para ter o que o Huawei Watch GT 7 e GT 7 Pro tem?

Uso o Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro a 4 meses nesse tempo ele teve 1 atualização, mas tem 2 meses foi lançado os novos GT 7 e com eles vem algumas novidades no sistema da Huawei Watch que julgo serem importantes demais para as demais para toda a linha, como por exemplo:

- sistema integrado de prontidão

- ia funcional

Será que isso chega no Fit 5 pro?

E você que tem gt 7 pro ou gt 7, usa essas informações?

Sleep breathing awareness
