First new car!
I just got my very first brand new car and named him Hank! I was searching for a “mini SUV” and test drove a 2024 Hyundai Venue, fell in love with it and bought a 2026 Hyundai Venue SEL a week later! Couldn’t be happier!

Hi everyone,
I'm planning to buy the Hyundai Venue HX8 Petrol DCT, but one feature I'll really miss is the 360° camera. Has anyone here installed an aftermarket 360° camera on their Venue?
A few questions:
How much did the complete installation cost?
Is it integrated with the stock infotainment system and How's the camera quality and calibration?
Any issues with warranty or electricals after installation?
Would love to hear your experience and any brand or installer recommendations. Thanks!
Given all years of the Venue look similar, is there a way to tell the difference in model years? As a previous VW Golf owner, an easy way to tell the difference in model years was the shape of the gas cover and tail lights.
In the picture mine is the 2021 blue denim on the right.
Someone ran a red light and this amazing car saved my life man. I’m beyond sad about the fact that she was only 6 months old! But we’ve already got the insurance payout on the way and already have our second venue lined up.
Hey guys,
I’ve been planning to buy the Hyundai Venue Petrol 1.0L Turbo DCT (HX 8 variant). Here in Bangalore, it’s coming to around 16.5 L on-road, which is a pretty significant amount for a sub-4m SUV.
I finally took a test drive yesterday. Mechanically and driving-wise, everything felt great. The turbo petrol + DCT combo is smooth and responsive. But I came away pretty disappointed with the feature distribution on this variant, and it’s completely blocking my decision right now.
For a car costing 16.5 Lakhs, it lacks some serious essentials:
I feel like at this price range, Hyundai should have bundled these features into the HX 8 instead of pushing them exclusively to the top-tier HX 10 trim, which stretches the budget even further.
Is anyone else facing this dilemma with the newer variants?
For those who bought it, do you regret missing out on these features, or does the driving experience make up for it?
What are your views, guys? Should I stick with it, or explore other options like the XUV 3XO or nexon?
Thanks in advance!
Has anyone had to replace their Venue's windshield? I have a 2020 Venue Ultimate and was told it would cost $895 CAD, since they have to the camera calibration of the advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Is this a normal quote?
Just wanted to get an idea of the market -these cars brand new are around 22K plus depending on the spec, options. Is the used market really that strong, the cheapest CPO is a 2023 that’s worth 17K, some with accidents worth 20K with original MSRP of 25K. What is going on here?

No 360-degree camera (Extremely useful for Bangalore traffic and tight parking).
Basic Infotainment: It gets the same basic infotainment setup that looks like it belongs in the lower variants, rather than the premium setup.
No Premium Audio: no premium speaker setup at this price point.

Hi all, after months of hesitation, we finally bought our new car.
Car - Hyundai Venue 2026 HX8 DCT PETROL.
So mine and my wife's both families owned Maruti baleno, so I've been driving Maruti baleno for a long time.
We had shortlisted most compact SUVs in the segment.
Maruti brezza - cabin felt outdated, wanted a different experience as I had been driving Maruti cars for a long time.
Mahindra XUV 3XO - Test drive was good, features were good, but the pricing and features felt little compromised. Wifey didn't like the looks of that car too.
Skoda kylaq - this was completely unexpected, as i had not even planned to see this car, until one of my friends suggested saying the drive experience is really good. went to the showroom, immediately liked the car and did test drive. Loved the drive experience, but the cabin felt a little claustrophobic and congested ( maybe because of dark interiors too). Initally I had decided skoda kylaq is the one which we'll be taking as i loved driving that car.
But when we took our parents and again went for a test drive, they felt little cramped and all that. So just for the sake of it for comparison we went to see venue, but they immediately felt the cabin was more roomier and premium.
Took multiple test drives of hyundai venue -the first test drive, dealer has brought N line venue - so again dark interiors which was little confusing. Again we took one more test drive after few days, this time we got hx10 variant for test drive and we absolutely loved it.
After finalising what we wanted we kept haggling for discounts and other things at the dealer, he gave around 19k odd discount.
Initially he had quoted 16.48L on road for hx8 ( Bangalore). This included insurance and accessories.
So i planned to take insurance outside
The dealer's insurance was - 71k 1+3 ( including zero dep).
I took Tata Aig insurance with zero dep plus with return to invoice 3+3 - 43k
We paid half and half financed through hdfc and got an interest rate of 8.3%.
Basic accessories I got from the dealer - Mudflaps, Rear sill guard, door edge guard, 3d mats and 3d boot mat ( 8k total).
As a tech geek i always wanted tech loaded car, we had done a spiti trip with that ROXX ( fully loaded) absolutely loved it. I drove for 8+ hours and enjoyed every minute of it.
Features I felt nice to have - Ventilated seats, EPB, Auto hold, good music system, drive modes, electrically adjusted front driver seats, remote start etc..
Thank you everyone, this forum has been very helpful for me to understand car and things related to it.
Recently purchased my first car and went with the Hyundai Venue SEL in the 2-tone. It’s been a few days now and I love it so much. Very happy with my purchase!
I was pretty much leaned towards Venue HX5 Turbo MT with some dealership upgrades. But then I am wondering, given the upgrade costs, is it better to look for N6? I understand, I still may have to add more if I compare against hx5+upgrade costs. But other perspective is N6 also lacks some features like split seat, keyless start, sunroof etc.
Need opinion on the tradeoffs. I'm very confused. And this is going to be my first car. And most of my driving will be in Delhi NCR, given the DCT overheating concerns, I'm not looking for AT.
Looking to buy a diesel car for daily commute of around 70 80km mix of highway and bit of city traffic
Initially was looking at sonet htx diesel mt it goes for around 13l onroad but safety and the new sonet face lift launching next year made me drop it.
Now looking at venue hx5 and hx7 huge price diff but hx5 lacks many basic features either i will have to get some aftermarket or go for hx7 which is around 15l and hx5 is around 13l.
3xo ax5 variant is vfm all necessary features are included in it, and costs around 13.3l the only things that concerns me is mileage, service and resale value in future other than that i really liked the car. Can anyone with diesel mt tell me what mileage they are getting??
Guys i am going to book venue next week, have to decide the color by this weekend.
Convince me to choose any one between these colors
Hi everyone,
I recently booked a Hyundai Venue HX5 DCT and received an accessories quotation from the dealer (attached).
Could you please suggest:
• Which accessories from the list are genuinely worth buying and considered must-haves?
• Which accessories can be safely skipped or are not worth the dealer's pricing?
• Any important accessories that are not included in the quotation but you would recommend getting?
I would appreciate feedback from current Venue owners as well as anyone with experience buying Hyundai accessories.
Thanks in advance!
A 2020 venue listed on carmax in the US. It looks to have some mid trim options (wheels, steering wheel, roof rails), has an ultimate trim grille?, and the manual transmission that was only available on the base model?
