Should I buy this 2026 Venue SE at $18.9k? (CPO very low miles)

I am in the market for a cheap new/lightly used CPO cars. Considering only Kias, Hyundais (for the warranty and moderate reliability) and japanese manufacturers (overall reliability). Got tired of finding a reliable and cheap used car.

I have an offer for a 2026 Venue SE from a dealer 7 hours away at $18900+tax = $21200 OTD. It has only a few miles on it but it was titled to be a company car for the dealer but never used much - It is now being sold as a CPO vehicle.

Dealer is not reducing a penny more despite pointing out the ridiculous $799 doc fee and the fact that I am going to register it out of state. I was hoping to be around $20k otd as it is a CPO car and qualifies only as a used car - so my bank's interest rate is going to be close to 7% instead of 5.5-6% on new cars. There are also no manufacturer financing offers for the car.

Should I pull the trigger or wait for a better deal? Thank you!

Edit: Personally, I do not mind that the car is small or underpowered - I do mind that it affects the resale value of the car.

Roof Rails for Venue

Got the 2023 Venue SE nearly a month ago now. Planning a move later this year, but as you can see my Venue has no roof rails. How much does it typically cost to get some installed? Are there any alternatives (like cross bars that clamp on groves above the window) that work with the Venue?

Weird sound when turning

I have a 2023 Venue Limited. Today I started getting a pretty loud sound when turning. It kinda starts off sounding like sand and water rushing and then it squeals. I turned off the AC to hear it better, and it stopped. Only happens when the AC is on.

I can't get a Hyundai service appointment for weeks, but I did stop in to an independent mechanic who checked the belts. He couldn't figure it out but didn't think it was a safety issue. He thought the sound was coming from the dash.

Any thoughts? Has anyone else had this?

2026 Hyundai Venue Lane assist

It turned off … I have no idea how it turned off, but now all of the sudden there are no beeping noises and my steering wheel is no longer steering me away from the lines.

I just got this car last week …

It’s been really rainy the past couple of days, could that have something to do with it?

I took it on a small road trip a couple days ago, a couple hundred miles, by the time I got back it was covered in all the bugs, so I took it to the car wash. Could they have messed up the sensors?

I wish it wasn't so tall

In this pic there is a mini cooper, my venue and a vw golf. If the venue was a little shorter, it would be perfect.

First new car ever!

I’ve owned a used 2008 Scion xD (RIP Scion) since 2010. It’s been a great car, but it was time for something new.

I was seriously considering a Toyota or Honda but happened to be driving by a Hyundai dealership and stopped in my tracks once I saw the Venue. I test drove it and loved it. Test drove many other cars but for the price and what I wanted in a car, the Venue was ultimately best for me.

Got the 2026 SEL two-toned and I’m loving every minute in this car! Here she is crossing on the Mobile Bay Ferry during a recent adventure.

Auto air control

I have been a long time driver and I never knew until watching Venue videos about the "auto" air control feature. When selected, you simply set your desired temperature, and the system automatically adjusts fan speed, air distribution, and heating or cooling to achieve and maintain that exact comfort level. It will also adjust and remove fog from the front window. Cool.

Parks beside competitors

It was pretty cool today as on two occasions my quirky Venue was parked beside it's Nissan Kicks and Kia Soul competition. I think the Venue looks better. :)

2024 Venue…underwhelmed

Just wanted to vent about my 2024 Hyundai Venue. I’m seriously frustrated with this car. From the moment I drove it off the lot, it’s been nothing but a headache. I currently owe $22,000 on it, and despite making payments, I can’t sell it without taking on an even larger new loan. The market value is nowhere near what I still owe, and it feels like I’m trapped.

The worst part isn’t just the financial burden—it’s the daily frustration of owning something I don’t even like driving. Between the issues with comfort, space and overall mediocrity of tech offerings, I regret this purchase every single day. Getting stuck in a loan that feels like a money pit is awful, and I just wish there was a way to get out without being upside down.

If anyone else has had a similar experience with the Hyundai Venue or getting out from under a car loan like this, I’d love to hear how you managed it. Right now, it feels like I’m just shouting into the void about a $22k mistake.

Safety alert volumes?

Is there a way to lower the volume of the safety alerts such as seat belt, backup camera car alerts etc? It is so so loud. Not guidance adepts.

I have a 2021 hyundai venue ultimate

VenueView 2026

Has anyone else never noticed the venue but now that you’ve driven one you see them all over? In my city in New England (USA) - I initially noticed a red ahead of my new venue but now I’ve seen a white, red, blue (BLUE CREW!) and black one. I get all excited any time I see a new one! With the US economy being the way it is, I’m not surprised to see a value vehicle being the one of choice.
