Am I the only one who thinks Spider-Man (2002) is meh?

People keep giving 1 a lot of credit. Granted it was revolutionary for it's time and is a good origin story but I feel it has the same problem as X-MEN (2000), not a lot happens. It's a small very contained story, again let me be clear it's not a bad thing but comparing it to other Spider-Man films it feels meh. Spider-Man 2 is my favourite Spider-Man movie and probably the best one. And I'm too young for it to be just nostalgia. Spider-Man 3 clearly has a lot of flaws. My 2nd most favourite is No way home. I'm not counting the spider verse films here ofc cuz those are clearly better. Anyway, let me know your thoughts.

Genuine question I have; why must we continue this pipeline of making blockbusters that lean towards "turn your brain off" territory? Yes, they have more mass appeal, but why can't we have a blockbuster that's more dialogue/idea, or art-house driven? Is the decline of media literacy to blame?

misleading ass posters

I was really hyped for season 5 of the boys when it first got announced, but now we're 7 episodes in the season and nothing important has happened yet. every other episode, characters are doing some random ass side plot. and don't get me started on posters that shows homelander in space and butcher destroying vought tower that have obviously never happened. it's genuinely sad to see this great show turn really mid with season 4 and 5

[Artwork] Superman suit (edited by me)

I edited superman's suit to be a but more comic accurate(with variants)

1.i edited this on ibis paint so the quality of editing is not top notch

2.i used an image of a hot toys Superman figure

3.these edit variety are my changes that tend to my opinions)

  1. original - Of course base on the movie

2.DCU (original color) fixed - I edited it to remove the collar, and edited it to be less baggy too and more form fitting, I made the logo a bit bigger, I made the trunks a bit smaller, and I changed the boots to have that triangle point.

3 DCU fixed - it's just the 2nd one but I decided to Edited the color to have a darker blue ,deeper red,and shiney yellow

4.Classic Logo- it's just the 3rd one but I edited the classic Superman logo(I used an image of the logo from Superman returns, and just morphed it a bit)
