Instead of asking questions like . . .

• "How profound is the plot?"
• "How sharp is the dialogue?"
• "How precise is the composition of the image?"
• "How creative is the blocking?"
• "How fluid is the editing?"
• "How does the lighting, shadows, and color enhance the image?"
• "How do the screenplay and direction compliment each other?"

etc.,

. . . Pseudo-film critics would rather ask questions like "what is the hidden deep-meaning behind this lamp of little significance," or "Was this rather shaky/blurry incomprehensible image that had no care from the director and cinematographer actually intentional to the story." Or a very common one being "is this movie about [insert person/people or object] actually a social commentary of an ongoing social-political movement." Like how dare a movie actually be what it is about.
