Hello, my name is John C Hennessey and I am the author of the novel, The Forest For A Tree. I wanted to discuss with you the inner workings of the book. One of these things is the allusion in the novel. I used American Psycho as a movie where both my main characters compare each other to the villain protagonist, Patrick Bateman. The allusion continues with the antagonist, Adrian, doing band analysis of such bands as, Genesis and Tom Petty and the heartbreakers, in the vein of Patrick Bateman.
