I Hate the new decoding buffs.

Ever since the update came out I can't do even a single tie!, machines are done over Two minutes in the round and can't even have first down by then, ending in surrendeing or loses, does this happen to someone else?

One of them was free.

I was wanting to buy the novelist skin, until I remembered that in the first part of the crossover the game let you choose one of them for free. I know it's my fault for not playing it at the time, but is it really the right decision to made both of them paid only?

What sword is this one?

What name of the classics should I be locking if I want it exactly like that?

Gang any peddler tips?

(Ramble incoming)So I wasn't expecting an early A tier from last season's essence 2 and got peddlers A tier skin which I find to be absolutely gorgeous(honestly I wanted postsman's skin the most but oh well). I didn't have any clues at the time and so I only bought her recently to give her a second chance (also trying her after her buffs)

After getting the basics down, I am absolutely IN LOVE with her kit and how adaptive it can be. Playing peddler actually makes me excited to play hunter again (I still love u night watch don't get me wrong) so after getting the basics down, do y'all have any tips and or tricks to improve my gameplay?

I found old screenshot of me hating Joseph in 2022... 💀💀

Back in 2022 I used to talk crap to Joseph players.

💀 now i realized how cringe I acted in 2022

Hunter is miserable.

So, I would consider myself to be a casual player. I’m level 8, elk tier 2 and Cobra tier 4.

I’ve noticed whilst playing matches, specifically as Hunter, that every match is paired with the sweatiest survivors - especially ones that should not be in my tier and are way higher.

I’m so tired of going feeling I have to play meta to have a standing chance against any survivor.

I main Mary who easily gets countered by half of the character roster. Cheerleader? Dash away with her pom-poms. Forward? Dash away with his ball. Doctor? Immediately self-heal because your mirror ran out.

Idk, I just feel like no matter what I do, I get absolutely spun about by survivors, especially with the recent buffs in place.

Netease really needs to start buffing their older hunters, especially the ones who get hurt by the new hunters who rely on map control and chase to counter meta survivors.

Why are survivors toxic when they see a hunter who is just learning?

This is a question I have because, you see, I started stepping out of my comfort zone with Sculptor and tried using Jack, Wax Artist, Hastur, and other hunters, but whenever I practice, something players suddenly become toxic. I remember that with Jack, I couldn't land a single Fog Blade and was obviously losing, and then out of nowhere, a cheerleader joined in and started emoting me, spamming pallets, and using stickers. With Wax Artist, it was a novelist, and with Hastur, it was a mechanic who just spammed the "provoke" emote. I mean, how toxic do survivors have to be to mess with someone who's clearly learning? I remember when an Enchantress saw I was struggling to use Galatea, and in the post-match, she said to me, "She has four wheels and you're still slower than us? lol" (that was when I was just learning to use Galatea). With Axe Boy, I was missing all my flames, and an Entomologist ,With Mary, the same thing happened to me; I barely knew how to use it, and a perfumer even told me "ez." I mean, what's the need to be toxic with someone who's trying to get out of their comfort zone or try something new?

Idv probably has a lot more planned for cryptic notes and idk how to feel about it.

Don’t get me wrong, i love the new game-mode. For the first time im glad idv added something nobody asked for lol.

I believe many would agree with that because so many have been talking about it positively. Idv was planning to do more updates anyway i mean we know there is gonna be a hunter mode coming up and if the leaks i saw were true, we will get boss fights.

However, i feel like that could also be a problem for the community. Idv has always had a problem with marketing hence why the game is so unknown in Europe and America. Now with cryptic notes becoming the next big thing how is idv gonna advertise their game ? As 2 major games ? (instead of one game with a few mini games).

Also, there r so many who say they will drop qm now that cryptic notes is out so i feel like idv is probably gonna shift it’s attention to that game mode more and perhaps neglect the normal game. (No new maps, no more new persona traits and buffs / debuffs.

Maybe im just overthinking this. I dont rlly know how game companies work. But i wanted to share my thoughts anyway even tho im probably just tripping for no reason lol

Why is she in EVERY Duo match?

I might be being dramatic. But I took a break of like a year and a half from this game. Duos is my favorite mode but Ann is one of my least favorite hunters. I hate her walk and look, just everything about her. But it feels like she's chosen in every Duo match I play now.

I never saw her this much in the past. And I feel like I never see Bloody Queen when I used to see her so regularly in matches. Did she get nerfed?

Naiad appreciation post.

Just a post to appreciate naiad. Feel free to discuss what you like abt her, fun facts abt her lore, why she(might be) your fav, etc.

I love naiad just because of how deeply intricate her lore is, it was(and is) fun to analyze her lore and letters for hours. Did you know that Hastur is technically inside of her body?? Or that Yidhra has acknowledged and admired Grace’s own resolve to vengeance(perhaps even assisting her in it)? Her design and skins are also my favourites, I love aquatic characters and while I would’ve preferred her concept art, the design we got is also great; her skins almost always never miss, even if the concept art sometimes make you regret what could’ve been.

Hot take: Hunter is very weak right now with recent changes.

With the addition of the survivor trait Attachment effect that makes it so you only need to heal to 70% recovery and then you autoheal, and the buff to brewing effect, survivors can heal eachother all game and still do ciphers faster then last season. It is rediculous how little pressure you can have as a hunter right now.

Side note, the changes to moonlit river park feels very off the mark, camping hunters are still strong on this map while all others feel even worse.

Flaming hot take: you should never rob players who are down and waiting for revival, otherwise you are the bad teammate everyone talks about.

And its not only about classics of A and S rarity. Its about survival items too.

I was laying there, waiting to be revived. Some person came over and took everything. When i got revived i was left with only a syringe and 2 blue classics.

If you genuinely "need" these items because you're broke go no-item in normal (doable).

You can search for the bell without taking everything.

If person already left you may take stuff because they already left. If the person is here, waiting for revival you should never even consider taking their weapon, glasses or even just mint box to give them a chance to escape.
