Quite a new player. I’m not unlocking new ores/alloys/items to get resource star distribution contained but curious if it’s smart of me to do? Is limiting my account to the base 15 things the correct thing or should I open up further?

Perhaps there’s a common place to stop I’m unaware of lol

I have 68q, it costs 2.5q. Seems odd.

15 minutes into the game

I’m at a point where I’m not sure what to focus on… modules, managers, managers with crafting or smelting speed, etc

My global crafting speed hits 135 when my P1 planet prob maxes out

Finally 🤣🤣 I've never gotten anything but the 100%

Trying to decide whether its better to keep craft and smelt speed bonus or take the double item/alloy value. Nowhere near l41 for a third effect. Typically the smelt and craft bonus was around x2.2 for the amount of planets I can comfortably open up.

Or should I pick item value and craft speed for example as a mix of the two?

I'm looking at the info in the IPM Module spreadsheet. It lists Exploration Drill as the best drill module, with Adaptive Drill being almost as good. The effects are:

Adaptive Drill: Freely Upgrade the first level of 3 different planet colonies. All rerolled colony requests cost 5% less than normal. Reroll Cooldown is now 11 hours instead of 12.
Exploration Drill: Pick an Unlocked Telescope and add one mining colony level to all of its planets. Can be used on one different telescope researches.

If I am reading this correctly, Exploration Drill lets me pick Telescope 16, and I get one Mining Colony on P50, P51 and P52. P51 is currently my VPS, so the free colony there is great. I usually don't even unlock P50 and P52. I might unlock P52 and a one or two levels in it if I have not gotten a pink asteroid drop with Aether.

Alternatively, Adaptive Drill lets me add one free colony to three planets of my choice. Picking those planets as the planets where I apply Alchemy 1, 2 and 3 seems like the obvious choice. That would give the same bonus to my VPS, and a bonus to two other planets that (for a while) are my main source of cash and GV.

Am I missing something here?

Note: I haven't actually used a module with either of these yet, so I could easily be missing something in the actual implementation.

I've used 10s of thousands of re-roll tokens, and I'm getting no luck. Should I unlock all 3? Or will that not help because the item multiplier can only appear once anyways?

Ok this game has a history of not rounding down. So bless RNG Jesus I just got my Incubation Suite to Ancestral. So that's 30% reduced crafting prices so for recipes like advanced robot, deflector shield, deep space scanner etc, I thought they would remain at 2 needed to craft the item. It's down to 1! That's huge imo. Or I'm pleasantly surprised. I think this fact alone makes the incubation suite hands down the best module for Synth. Anyway I wasn't aware so I thought I would share.

Currently working on reaching lvl 41 on synth module .Taking me several days to get the 30K necessary though . Created first Phase gate and Neural matrix and new record Galaxy value getting there . Have to do it all again now to get to lvl 41 and unlock the next upgrade - just hope its worth it haha .

Farming credits and this gem comes along

Did a quick lil challenge between credit farming, expecting to get a bunch of useless garbage like lead bars and nails. My last tourney I crafted orbital dock for the first time - for the stage of the game im at this feels like a damn nice star roll hitting on some nice resources too!

After today's quick challenge. I know I haven't played this game with my fullest suggested by my legacy stats.
