Map of the Caribbean in 2245: The Vacation Wasteland

In the decades preceding that fateful day in 2077, Latin America — and especially the Caribbean Islands — became a game board between the United States and China for who could control the region.

When that fateful day did come, however, the game came to a draw as both players were bathed in atomic hellfire and left the pieces to fend for themselves.

168 years later, the Caribbean Islands, now dubbed the “Vacation Wasteland”, is the heart of yet another conflict. Now, between the Cartels and the Flotilla.

Before the war, the United States funded and supplied various drug cartels in exchange for destabilizing their own governments to allow for greater American influence and control. Now, these same cartels and their descendants hold a tight grip on the wasteland; offering safety, wealth, slaves and chems to those who ally with them in their endless struggle against those who oppose them.

Founded shorty after the war by remnants of the United States Coast Guard and Navy, the Flotilla is the title of the massive fleet of ships that patrol the Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico as one. Their goal is to maintain order, and wipe out any raiders, pirates or smugglers unfortunate enough to enter their line of fire.

This conflict came to a head five years ago, when an alliance of Cartels, pirates and various others with grudges against the Flotilla trapped the Flotilla within the Windward Passage and attacked from all fronts. The following battle would devastate both sides, killing off various powerful leaders, greatly reducing their numbers and leaving both limping and bleeding.

Now, after both parties have had time to regather their strength and learn from their mistakes, many see signs of a fast approaching Second Battle of Windward Passage (or something to that effect) — and it is unlikely to end in a draw.

Original boss concept: TOREK

TOREK: A warrior who hails from a tribe of intelligent deathclaws originally founded by Goris and Xarn after the fall of the west coast enclave. For decades this tribe has prospered by offering protection to human settlements from raiders and bandits in exchange for resources. Recently however, these raiding parties have grown more organized and seemingly well funded, killing both human settlers and deathclaws alike. Emboldened by the tales of his grandfather Goris’ travels with the chosen one, Torek sets out to find the source of this new threat and put an end to it once and for all. Armed with near impenetrable armor and a sword that would prove difficult to wield even for super mutants, Torek in spite of this can move with great agility capable of climbing ruins with ease and clearing most any distance in the blink of an eye. When not in combat, Torek wears a thick layer of improvised cloth to hide his appearance in hopes of disguising himself as a larger than average supermutant as to attract (hopefully) less attention

Unis - German electronics manufacturer in EC - project Fallout: Prague Spring

This was a world building exercise where I tried building European commonwealth for my Czech setting. Now Unis would be the Fallout’s equivalent of Philips, it’s only correlation to the project right now is that this company used to operate in Czechia until 1946, when it would be nationalized into TEPRA (Prague technology). 3D model by me :)

To any German speaker, I am sorry, I hope I didn’t stretch my knowledge of German with this one XD
