Theres a legend in the Rustbelt. Like the Sierra Madre of the west, or the Fountain of Dreams in the gulf. From the Plains of Kansas to the Dustbowl. A legend of an army forgotten by time. The Calculators last army.
Dormant, hidden away somewhere within the rusted heaps and old battlegrounds. It lay in wait for a new master to come and make use of it. An autonomous force that needs no sleep, provisions, or even ammunition in numbers no one could imagine.

What may sound a legend may have more truth to it. Yet soundly the wastes sleep, without a care.

No one knows where, or even if, The Last Army sleeps.

God help us if it’s awoken, and who tolled the bell.

Drawing this made me realize that 4/76’s deathclaws are the only ones with pupils. Made me aware of how influential that box art deathclaw was on the later interplay designs too.
