My fellow Millennials of India - Bharat Mata is Rising Again

For a long time, the youth of India have lacked a mother's guidance, but that will change soon as our mother grows stronger again. CJP and Arvind Kejriwal embody this, working tirelessly as her hands and legs, their hearts pumped with her blessings and their minds exploding with the thought of her emergence in their lifetimes. They are working as the just sons of Bharat Mata, striving to secure justice and opportunity for all her sons and daughters while pursuing the creation of the strongest and the largest family the world has yet to witness.

Evolution teaches us that the primal alpha energy is needed to survive but life cannot flourish or thrive without the selfless mother’s care. In today’s world, developed countries have mastered channeling that alpha energy into capitalistic animal spirited economies but their governments and polity have also evolved simultaneously over the last 2 centuries serving as the acting mother to care for their citizenry. We ought to do the same but do we have the polity ready to bring our Bharat Mata back?

Both Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi have no sons or daughters. They are the product of a life that sought relevance and power through lost egos, pride and self-loathing mediocrity, serving the antiquity old ideology of RSS/Congress as a proxy for their own public relevance. However, the Prime Minister's role demands immense competency, dynamism, and tenacity - not relevance for very small things like ideology born 100-150 years ago. Being the mother is the hardest job in the world and being the flag bearer of the mother for all 150 Crore Indians is infinitely harder. Thus, today’s cat-and-mouse Indian politics is like throwing water droplets at the role of Indian PM which actually demands the oceanic expanse - full of depth, clarity, and richness to support life.

To build the oceanic muscle for the next PM of our country, CJP is the rallying cry to disseminate this new awakening and realization to the masses: we need our Bharat Mata for our young. While the CJP remains apolitical as it needs to be, we find our voice in it because the movement has convinced us that education is the right thing to fight for. As a result, we need to direct those unified voices towards mustering all support for making AK the next PM of our country, ensuring we do not stray from this constitutional and political path we are embarking on. AK has the right tenacity and integrity to truly qualify for being the PM - political experience can add many “zeroes” to a person’s record, but those zeroes matter only if there is a “1” in front of them. In his case, that “1” comes from being an IIT graduate, a respected and honest ex-bureaucrat, and a leader of the public anti-corruption movement. His political experience then adds to that foundation. The argument is that Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi may have far more political experience, but without the same level of educational, professional, or public-service foundation, they have accumulated many “zeroes” without first earning the “1” that gives those zeroes their value. They are just proxies who have succeeded in convincing their parties they can fill the role of a leader. The era of just being political filler head will soon be over. Both BJP/Congress should look at AK as the role model and roll out their own internal candidates who can compete with him. Why I say that Modi and Gandhi are just political filler heads because look at the CJP Movement - led by 2 ex-AAP operators who drew their inspiration from Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia’s model of governance which has education and health at the heart of it. All this while where were Modi and Rahul? Modi was the antagonist and Gandhi was the absentee, but the rest of the entire country showed up and got involved. These 2 political filler heads have not captured the true aspiration of this country's people when it was needed the most, nor have their young stooges like Tejaswi Surya or Kanhaiya Kumar who vehemently debated their ideology-tainted youth agenda during the 2019 elections. Yet, 3 politically informed and conscious young men - Abhijeet Dipke, Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das - succeeded; they are our 21st century Bhagat Singh trio. The seeds sown by Kejriwal have already started germinating into beautiful saplings which are nourishing the minds of the young at a scale and reach unheard of.

India lost one opportunity in 2011 to transform itself after the Anna Andolan, when Kejriwal became the change we wanted but he had to work his way up in this cat and mouse politics of the nation to survive. Today, we have a window again with outburst pouring in from all sections of society during the CJP movement to re-ignite the momentum of getting our Bharat Mata back to the children of this nation. In 2011, everyone saw that a public movement could genuinely change politics with the launch of AAP, a political startup born from that movement. By 2029, this nation would have spent 18 years since then - and yet in these 18 years our nation’s story feels like that of a child born then who will turn 18 in 2029 after going through rotten education system, no respectable aspects of employment or any sense of social security in this extortionist rigged system where exam papers leak, schools and colleges shut down, and the youth has to do milk-run for platform companies to run their households. So this begs the question: 18 years after 2029 when we say we want to be Viksit Bharat by 2047, what do we expect our nation to be? This word 'Viksit' is important because it borrows from the caricatured understanding the masses in India have about rich foreign western countries known as developed countries and it translates into Hindi as the word “Viksit.” Whoever is peddling the lie that India will become like those countries is doing a great disservice to this nation. I really want to take a pun at this first before arriving at what should we really be striving for - Viksit is nothing but Shit of Vikas (development) or "Vikshit Bharat" being sold to masses because there is no tax on shit.

Now coming to what India truly needs is - in one of his speeches addressing school teachers in Punjab, Manish Sisodia explains what is their true calling to politics is, it is the practical dream of making sure what IITs did for 0.1% of top students of the country, their grass root K12 schools should do for not top 10% or top 20% urban children but for all 99.99% from villages to metro-slums who cannot make it to IIT or AIIMS or any top college - this K12 education should be universally available, accessible and affordable for all children of the country and when that happens, when every single student goes through a rigorous schooling only sky is the limit. Manish in that talks says he could think of this dream because of Kejriwal’s vision - Kejriwal said to him when he gave him both the Education and Finance Ministry of Delhi - “ki Manish pul ke liye pese rokne padhe to chalega lekin school ke liye pese nahi kam padhne chayie - agar bache padh jayenge to pul to khud hi bana lenge”  - which translates to “Manish if you had to choose between spending money on a bridge or school then always choose school first because if children get educated, they will automatically build the bridge by themselves. These remarks also remind me of the banter between Elon Musk and Demis Hassabis when Elon said to Demis that he was working on the most important problem of humanity: making life multi-planetary starting with rockets to Mars. Demis replied that he was also working on the most important thing for humanity: building Artificial General Intelligence, adding that his AI could follow Elon to Mars. Elon was stumped and had nothing to say. The message is clear: we possess the world's greatest intelligence capital - the human brains of the largest youth population of the world. If we train our young minds to the fullest by 2047 (18 years after the 2029 elections), we can expect industrial-scale transformation of infrastructure and rising per capita income levels across society in subsequent decades but not before 2047. Hence, the pressing matter should not be to sell this slogan of “Vikshit Bharat” but to really and pragmatically execute the steps needed to build a “Shikshit Bharat by 2047” because - agar Bharat Shikshit ban gaya to Viksit to ban hi jayega- if Indian children become educated then they can themselves complete the dream of making India developed. With this reality of massive education agenda take the forefront of Indian political discourse, we can once again hope for a dream that India can change within our lifetime, within “one” generation and the generation of 2029-2047 youngsters will make happen what generations of sons and daughters of Bharat Mata wanted since time immemorial.

Now if you are still reading, I want to take you to a deeper level on understanding why we have kind of lost last 18 years when we will be looking back in time while voting in next general elections in 2029 - as 2011 was unfolding, social media and the millennial generation were coming into mainstream and Modi and his team were the quickest to grab likes and shares on Facebook with Gujarat Model posts and Modi’s work, which snowballed into the Hindutva led narration sneaking into the whatsapp texts of your parents and the rest is history - the boomers were made to believe that when nothing worked in their life, bringing those who vouch for Hindu masculinity in power will be the ultimate salvation of their life. We millennials started the spark, the boomers were the fodder who picked that spark & burnt in that fire and Modi became the fuel to reclaim the lost glory of India and bring “Ache din” not in their lives but in their minds instantaneously with one election vote. This emergence of brand Modi would have come as a silent shock to AK’s campaign which had captured the nation's pulse just three years before the 2014 election. To reverse the tide, he started learning the cat and mouse politics, he fought Modi in Varanasi, he swept Delhi Elections 3 times and by 2022, he started the groundwork for “Arvind Kejriwal for PM” campaign - his party was already fighting elections in Punjab and Gujarat and he became the conversation point of a potential PM candidate, his performance in sweeping Punjab and breaking into Gujarat’s assembly with handful MLAs made AAP a national party ready to take on the BJP at national stage. AK became the face of delivering education, earning accolades from international organizations for Delhi Schools. He shifted the Gujarat elections narrative from doing Nafrat ki Rajeneeti, or politics of hatred, towards the politics of schools and hospitals. He was the only mainstream politician raising paper leak issues in 2022, when no one else in the country was - he reached out to the youth to address the plague that the Gujarat education system had become, where the elite voted for BJP and sent their children to the Anglo-sphere while the under-privileged bore the brunt of the state’s ailing education and employment opportunities.

Modi panicked big time following AAP's rise. Modi personally never even called Kejriwal by name in any of his speeches to suit his anti-Congress narrative, almost maintaining a visible facade of not acknowledging his true opponent in public while actually fretting behind the scenes. His only response - fearful crusade against someone who raised the biggest finger on his image - asking for his degrees and calling out his incompetence; he went all out in crushing this age-old thorn he encountered in 2014 which made him contest from 2 seats instead of just Varanasi. Kejriwal and AAP’s persecution was a 4 year old circus that Modi’s vendetta brought to AAP and served on national television with full ED/CBI raids in a hoax scam created around Alcohol Policy - ministers getting arrested, court proceedings and decimation of AAP’s corruption free stand, all carefully fabricated and improvised through BJP’s institutional dominance and amplified by BJP’s media control. Even an honest AAP follower could start doubting when cloud of lies keep surrounding you so much that it starts looking like truth - when you see your party is broken, MPs defecting and your leader loses MLA seat because votes were surgically deducted to make him lose. Despite all of that, look what happened: Cockroaches came back this time in their own skin, without the cat and mouse circus attire and made sure Education becomes the modus operandi of building India.

Why education is the ultimate calling - we need to understand that roads and highways can come later, if the mind is not running, the economy will not. By the time the second order impact of a highway modeled in an Excel sheet comes to fruition the first order impact of poor education will hollow out the very economic consumption growth assumption that infrastructure projects relied on. No matter how many false optical “economy is good” equivalences you try to propagate, the reality will bite you back with the same force - no matter how many bullet trains you make, boring work of fixing railways and traffic mess will always be needed, no matter how many GIFT cities you build but the boring work of providing clean water and reliable electricity to all will be first and foremost, no matter how many Olympics you organize, better health for the youth will need to be fixed for them to be fit to win in Olympics and in life. These cherry-picked projects will not sail you through the testing times coming - the economic decapitation that is awaiting us if we don’t course correct as the world becomes stranger and more hostile on all fronts. I call these projects as 1% projects, they just deliver 1% impact of what the nation wants, this has been the political toy from the times of IIT/IIM setup by Nehru -  today the alums of IIT/IIM have disproportionate representation in the leadership rungs of Fortune 500 but for India the return is just 1%. Being under-educated for so long we have never been able to come out of this loop of politicians just delivering 1% of what they are supposed to deliver and us not making them accountable for the 99% loss that has been compounding over decades - finally this time we have to rise to the occasion and see through our own under-educatedness and support Kejriwal in his vision for this country and make him win in 2029 because he is the only one who, in last 18 years, has been saying in one way or the other, that India doesn’t need 99 different 1% projects but we need that 1 thing that is education which can make the 99% of India well-off and settled to shape their own destiny.

Now, purely look at the output of Modi’s policies in education, on one hand he wants to Modiwash the symbols of technology and enterprise - like making students bow to him during IIT Delhi Convocation, appearing as the ultimate space-man during Skyroot’s rocket launch or Moon Rover landing or hoarding the centre of attention in startup summits with his cheap 'Startup India' paint, which never created any unicorns, or embarrassingly huddling with AI CEOs at an AI Summit when we missed the real AI wave. These actions could have generated genuine goodwill in guiding youth but instead, he slashed education spending from 4.5% to 2.5% and never addressed why this government has not invested in schools in the last 12 years. This is all hogwash - stealing the 1% success of citizen-led merit outcomes to fuel his incessant greed for clicks and eyeballs while 99% of education breaks down under his own regime. Now look at Kejriwal, he walks the talk, he made Delhi number 1 in schools and now has made Punjab number 1, just pure report card of governance and effort, ironically acknowledged in Modi government’s own state performance reports. We need someone who delivers what he says and not a scared influencer fearful of his relevance slipping away due to his own shortcomings and lack in formal education.

So, if not 2029, do we want to lose another 18 years and have the same guilt in 2047 that India is still a poor and un-educated country. Hero-worship is the way India has worked civilisationally but we forget the fact in the today’s digital dystopia that hero-worship is to be done for whom, who themselves don’t feel they are hero and have that moral compass of being servant to people and not for whom, who themselves think they are above everyone else - if we choose the right person, the accountability that we seek will come - for 80 years we have given Congress/BJP so many chances, not again, not this time, we have to finally end this cat and mouse politics and usher in the era of “Vidyakaal”. Good education teaches you the value of doing boring work again and again because that is where compounding happens, poor education engulfs you in the drug of shortcuts that hide their ingrained vanity like the pill of “Ache din” and the elixir of "Amritkaal" and “Vikshit Bharat.” No more of this incompetency and shallow pompousness, we should now march towards entering “Vidyakaal” and make our Bharat Mata proud by building a “Shikshit Bharat”.

I know you are still not convinced - ok, let me now take it even slower, step 1 is to get rid of Modi - why you ask - this is against national interest, India will go back to coalition politics which was even worse or was it? Can anyone in our generation differentiate meaningfully between the 10 years of coalition led UPA under Manmohan Singh and 10 years all powerful Modi - has anything changed in the direction of our nation or in our cities or in our personal lives - if 2011 would have changed 2014 then we would not have lost one generation to our rotten education system. Secondly, you say Modi-Shah made India stronger against the threats of Islamic terrorism from Pakistan, while bomb blasts used to be a problems of 2000s we did not see it in the later decade - this is true, but again my rebuttal is that it is just 1% of what all government is expected to do, security of citizens is not to be earned but given as a right. I will take this line of argument even further- when 20 Hindus died in Pahalgam attack, this Modi regime almost went on a war with Pakistan because it was taught to be sensitive about this 1% issue in Sangh, but when 20 Hindu students did suicide due to NEET paper leak (happening year after year) this government put out its entire machinery to not acknowledge the loss of young lives, and crushed every form of dissent that led to this movement snowballing into pan India youth movement. Why did they not take these 20 student lives seriously vs the other 20 lives in Kashmir because the Sangh did not teach them the value of education properly - in their world view the only issue holding India back is the melting pot nature of culture of India and their eternal arduous struggle is to wish for a more middle-eastern rigidity and western uniformity, which may solve some 1% of historical problems but leaves the 99% un-attended which could actually change the daily lives of Indians. Thirdly, you say Modi gives Hindus the pride and security we missed for 1000 years that we were devoid of during our Islamic/Western colonization - now let’s be honest, we all are just waiting for UCC which I support and then all of us know Modi and BJP have no further things to act on for our pride and security needs. UCC has been charted out in many BJP ruled states already, and will soon be done nationally also - as citizenry we need to hold our emotional horses during this rollout then and accept that this movie will come to an end just like the movie ended after 370 and Ram Mandir. We all now have our pride quotas filled, and now we need to return to fulfilling the dreams of the generation ahead who are increasingly detached from these emotional needs of past generations.

So, I have given you 3 reasons how India can run without Modi but I know this is still not enough - now I will give you the dose of reality and not whataboutery, what will happen if Modi continues beyond 2029 - simple answer is nothing will happen, just nothing ever comes from him, he is just the face and voice who cannot hold 10 seconds in front of live media or can do unscripted speeches or give genuine interviews or answer genuine questions of the present hour. We can better have Shyam Rangeela as our Prime Minister and the nation can run as it is running without anyone noticing. Discount the humor you saw at the recent E20 rollback townhall done by Kejriwal where Shyam did a spoof play of the PM - the irony is that the limited things we know character playing the spoof are the same limited things we know about our PM - his face, his voice and nothing more about what he truly stands for. When COVID happened, he was not seen for a month during second wave after bengal elections when people were dying for oxygen; Kejriwal came before the press time and again, explaining the situation in Delhi and what they were doing to curb the spread. We let that pass because our pride kitty was not full back then, but is now on verge of being full and we should learn from the loss of these 18 years that never again we will sacrifice future of our next generation for the pride of the previous one.

Let me ask you a trivia question on this note: Who was the first person to decode the emptiness inside Modi’s larger than life persona? It was the very same person who helped build this image in hope of getting everything that we are talking about here - educated people bringing change to the country. His name is Prashant Kishor. In 2011 as Delhi was unfolding, so was something in Gujarat. Prashant Kishor with his zeal to make Indian politics performative and change the way government and bureaucracy works, made a somewhat unsaid pact with Modi: he wanted a lateral entry path for IIT/IIM executives into decision making roles in government who could bring their expertise to solve pressing issues stuck in the in-decisiveness of the present-day bureaucracy and build a culture of meritocratic offices, not un-accountable resignation-proof administrators. In return, Kishor would help Modi secure a decisive victory that parliament had not seen in many elections by adding a “technocrat” flavor to the campaign - the most visible angle being the Facebook posts that we millennials liked. I remember a post showing the how Modi’s canals in Gujarat were covered with solar panels, serving the dual purpose of water and electricity, alongside the classic image of Modi thinking and pointing toward something while standing in front of officials. The house of cards was starting to get formed, with Prashant’s strategy to build brand modi, everyone succumbed to the Modi wave onslaught coming their way from FB/whatsapp to the streets and villages - Modi, Modi became the jingle of “Ache dine”. A year into his term, Modi walked away from Prashant’s dream and the commitment he made, showing no care - no lateral entry path was opened into the executive class, and no educated specialist cohort was brought inside the government, barring 1 or 2 examples such as Nandan Nilekani. That led Prashant to believe that Modi’s words had no value and that the larger than life hero image that he helped build for him would now have to be undone through his own actions in the political arena, election by election. Consequently, we all know he went on a spree of providing political and election aid to all opposition parties challenging Modi’s brute force empire in their respective states.

Fast forward to today - with Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation, as the first card has fallen, the entire house of cards in now falling apart into chaos - as they say “Yuva hi badlav lata he” - it is the youth which always brings the change, we the millennials who approved of Modi and played along in his every 1% act thinking of something will come out have now completely lost trust on his leadership. Gen Z was politically neutral, but they were the libertarian warriors who came to the cause when the government failed the education system, becoming the voice against the anti-BJP but it is us millennials who have suffered in their own struggles in last 18 years whose trust Modi has lost in the CJP uprising, marking the turning point for the politics of this country. We millennials who never voted will now emerge as the biggest voting group because Gen Z has done the street part but we millennials will lead the seat part. Look how life comes full circle: Prashant Kishor has won the MLA seat of Bankipur which was held by the BJP and largely by the National President of the BJP, and within 6 months the electorate led by us millennials uprooted the BJP candidate and voted for Prashant Kishor's performative politics in Bihar. This is the trailer as same millennial's change of mind will and should bring Kejriwal in 2029.

Remember, I talked about taking this slow, and only discussed step 1 of removing Modi - well there is no step 2 but only step 1, we must come together and remove this dictatorial leader and government at any cost and AK will organically emerge as the one who will be taking the nation ahead. Modi knows that keeping Congress as the principal opponent allows the BJP to rule for decades but if Kejriwal comes to the centre even for one term, the BJP won't regain power for the next 30 years. This existential crisis has driven them to pursue the annihilation of AAP and they will fight to the end even if it means imposing an emergency to ban CJP, AAP and anyone else they can target. However, history shows what happens after an emergency, so let them do what they can because the verdict for AK was already written on 20th July at Jantar Mantar and no force of nature can stop its ultimate manifestation.

So the change is inevitable, and I want to draw a parallel to the evolution concept I started with: like every group we need alphas and our alpha is our young generation and not the Modi’s worldview of Hindutva which is about seeking unnatural unity through force and authoritarianism to fight the 3 challenges to India - namely, the Nami, Kami & Islami - in english: the 3 challenges that India should match eye to eye with to find its place in the world - the Western Supremacists, Chinese Communists and the Islamic fundamentalists, which are real-world threats to our nationhood and our first line of defense or the true alphas in tackling them are the educated youth of the country - who can identify what needs to change within us first before playing victim to our present and past, who can rise above caste and come together on ideas to excel our nation in all fields as evident in the top 1% of educated Indians.

To conclude, I would just say those who could not build their own "parivar"/family, cannot understand that the role of the government is not to be the alpha but to be the flag bearer of Mother India, nurturing its kids to their fullest potential. That reality, my friends is about to come for this country because the young have found their hope in Arvind Kejriwal: an honest and educated statesman, a family man, a father of educated children, and a true disciple of building Bharat Mata ka 'parivar'. That shall be the glorious awakening in the future of this nation and the rise of the true grandeur of Bharat Mata once again.

Bharat Mata ki jai!

Sonia Gandhi began to feel discomfort with ‘Vande Mataram’

People are targeting wrong people for the right reasons.

I feel Modi ji is only a red herring.People should be familiar with those who are under him like local leaders and blame those specific people.I actually stand with Modi but I feel people in reddit only see him as a big target and shame him.

People here should know who are the supreme court judges,MLAs,MP,ministers,Who are the current IAS,IRS,Foreign service officers and stop blaming Modi. This is Pathetic.Until people themselves do not familiarize themselves with those they pay taxes to Bharat is doomed.

Yes I dont care what this man says unless he is accountable for what he says.Is he as a person accountable for what he said? No,not at all.Does the PM post face accountability because of his words?Absolutely.

I shudder to think what jokers would occupy the post after he steps down.Just because of his words, the next PM would think it is fair game to act like a clown just because he has the seat..

People used to target Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi but are they really accountable for what you accuse them of?

For example:-People used to call Manmohan Singh Maunmohan Singh.People know that he tried his best and still targetted him for wrong reasons. Now we regret losing him as a finance minister.Yes,he was more fit being the Finance minister than being the PM.

Sonia Gandhi:-People accused her of being an Italian who invaded India to prey on Indians but she was being paid for doing her job,If you want someone to accuse ,target the people paid her.If she takes a bribe, her being an Italian is irrelevant, crucify her for accepting that bribe.

Rahul Gandhi:People call him Pappu. You did not gain or lose anything from him being a Pappu, just watch and ignore.

Yes you can accuse Robert Vadra,Priyanka's husband if you need a scalp to flay.

Please should accuse the right people for the right things. This is pathetic.

If you want to blame someone like Manmohan Singh,Pick the right complaint, for example:-I hold the people who pushed the PM seat onto Manmohan Singh,or I hold the people who tied up PM's hands from properly governing things after giving him the seat responsible.

People should say "The current Prime minister indecisive on key decisions" or "An italian lady made leader of congress party" or "Rahul Gandhi turns heads in a bid to gain relevance".etc

New law of Modi government has come. If the government asks any social media platform to delete a post, they will have to delete it within 3 hours. Modi ji is very scared since Gen Z’s movement.

Modi ji, the more you suppress the voice of the people of the country, the more their anger will increase.

Why some Reddit India political pages extremely biased towards RSS or bjp or hindutva in general

R: Unitedstates of India and r:India

I am so appalled at how these pages ban you if you defend RSS or BJP or hindutva ,they are extremely insecure to see someone question the abuses of Muslim women ,Ajmer 1992 cases ,Kashmir hindu exodus .
There was a post saying RSS treats women like 2nd class citizens (like 40 % ) conveniently saying Hindu girls are treated badly when no RSS issues threats or fatwas if you wear short clothes or if you act in bold scenes in a movie .

They conveniently leave out Muslim women ,who actually get treated like 2nd class citizens with covering them up in burqas, not educating them , making them a baby producing factory with the aim to increase the so called 200 million minority population .

I mean how insecure these people are that they don’t let both the side arguments be without banning them .
Why can’t we make reddit to not give the authority to some mods who have not touched grass in decades to decide who is right and wrong .
Is this really freedom of expression when a person can’t defend his beliefs ?

Lok Sabha passes Bill without debate to authorise Govt. to permit banks to levy charges on UPI transactions

The Lok Sabha passed the Taxation and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026 without any debate after repeated disruptions in the House. The legislation creates a legal framework allowing the Centre to permit charges on notified digital payment modes, including UPI, through future notifications, although no charges take effect immediately. Beyond digital payments, the Bill also includes tax reforms intended to boost electronics manufacturing and attract foreign investment. The manner in which such a significant Bill was cleared, without parliamentary debate due to continued disruptions, has raised questions about legislative scrutiny and the functioning of Parliament

The Lok Sabha passed the Taxation and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026, without any debate after repeated disruptions in the House. Regardless of who is responsible for the deadlock, passing legislation without discussing its provisions defeats the purpose of Parliament. Laws that affect millions of people deserve scrutiny, questions, and public justification before they are approved. A parliamentary majority gives a government the power to pass Bills, but democracy also depends on debate, accountability, and allowing elected representatives to examine the consequences of new laws. When important legislation is rushed through without discussion, Parliament is reduced to a voting chamber instead of serving as a forum for democratic deliberation.

Dainik Bhaskar sting: Mahants from Juna, Nirvani & Nirmohi Akharas allegedly offered Mahamandaleshwar / Jagatguru titles for ₹20 lakh or land

A Dainik Bhaskar investigation claims that senior mahants from three major akharas — Juna, Nirvani, and Nirmohi — offered high religious titles like Mahamandaleshwar (and even Jagatguru in some cases) in exchange for money or property.According to the report:

  • A reporter posed as a wealthy IT professional who had returned from the US (Cupertino), claimed to have made a lot of money, and said he now wanted to leave corporate life and become a high-ranking sadhu rather than an ordinary one.
  • He was allegedly told that the title could be arranged for around ₹20 lakh, or by registering land in the akhara’s name for an ashram that he would run himself.
  • Separate meetings took place in Nashik and Haridwar with figures from the three akharas.
  • The investigation suggests the process for these titles was being treated transactionally in the cases they recorded.

The video and report include clips of conversations and name specific mahants connected to the offers.
