oil floating on top, masala cooked down properly, no cream no butter. took forever stirring but worth it restaurants have ruined what curry means honestly, everything's just butter chicken now with a different name. this is the real deal, messy and dark, not instagram pretty but tastes like it should.

So living alone, it always seems too much of an effort to cook a traditional curry from scratch and hoping after you have spent a tonne of money on the ingredients, that it works out okay.
