Rosemary leaves look burnt yellow white patches

Relocated to a new locality. For a while Noone was home, so it went unwatered and almost dried out. But when the new leaves came it looks like this. Any suggestions why it's like this?

Its placed in the balcony and gets 3-5 hours of direct sunlight, and rest indirect sunlight. Weather is warm around 36-40 deg Celsius. Pot has drainage and I water it daily.

I am using a potting mix that has organically, vernicompost, rice husk, coconut shell, and topped with cocopeat.

To the girl who died too soon

19 May, 2026

Dear K,

Today the weather feels better. Cooler. The wind is softer and gentler too.

For the past two weeks, the heat had become unbearable. Stepping outside felt like walking directly into a furnace. Even breathing like inhaling fire that burnt your nostrils and down into your lungs But today feels gentler. Like the world loosened its grip a little.

I'm hoping the rains arrive soon.

And yet, a part of me is scared of them too. Scared that once the sunlight disappears behind dark clouds, I'll slip back into that gloomy depression again. But then... I remind myself — I have climbed out of it once already. And if it comes back, I will climb out again. That much, I know now.

Last weekend, a strange realization hit me.

Not exactly a realization, because I already knew this truth somewhere deep inside me . But it was more like a moment of acceptance. A moment where the truth finally settled into my bones.

I will never be the person I was before.

Things have become irreversible. Nothing will ever return to how it used to be. The person I kept mourning, kept trying to hold on to... she is gone. And she is never coming back.

That thought made me unbearably sad at first.

Because I kept trying to hold onto her. Trying to preserve every trace of the girl I once was while she slowly slipped further away through time, dissolving into memories.

But accepting her loss also made me realize something else.

She had flaws too. Many of them.

And honestly, even before the illness, I had already started changing. Somewhere around 2024, I had stopped being the person I thought I was. The girl I mourn was already in transition. Already questioning herself. Already struggling to understand who she was becoming and what kind of person she wanted to turn into.

Then the illness arrived and violently interrupted everything.

It didn't just change me. It completely terminated that version of me so abruptly that barely any lingering traces were left behind.

And now... all I really have are memories of who I used to be, a vision of who I want to become, and this strange blank canvas standing in between.

A place to begin again.

And somehow, that thought feels comforting now.

Because everything I do from this point onward, every choice, every lesson, every wound, every small act of healing — becomes a building block of you.

The future me.

And that means I am no longer moving backward trying to save who I was. I am moving forward trying to create who I will become.

The old me had so many things she wanted to work on. So many things she struggled with. She wasn't a bad person at all. She was beautiful in so many ways, but she was hurting too. Messy. Exhausted. Carrying wounds she didn't fully know how to heal.

And now that I have this blank canvas, I feel like I can gather pieces from everywhere.

I can take the old me's dreams, the things she wanted to become but never fully managed to. Then I can take the qualities you have — the peace, freedom, strength, softness I imagine in you — and slowly combine them together.

And maybe somewhere between those two versions... I become myself again.

And strangely enough, I think I'm finally okay with the old me leaving.

I know the way her chapter ended was tragic. She deserved so much better. She wasn't given closure. She wasn't given a choice. Life just abruptly ripped her away from herself before she even understood what was happening. She was killed off by the circumstances, the people and life.

But what's gone is gone. We cannot go back and rewrite her ending.

So promise me something instead.

When we finally meet — when I become you — we will give her the goodbye she deserved.

We will mourn her properly. Gently. Lovingly. We will give her the closure life never gave her.

I don't want to only mourn the girl we lost. I want us to celebrate her too. Softly. Tenderly. Like someone placing flowers over the grave of a person they loved deeply.

Because she fought so hard for us.

She survived things that should have destroyed her long before the illness ever arrived. Betrayal. Heartbreak. Humiliation. Loneliness. Situations that stripped away her dignity. And still... she always somehow stood back up again.

She cried endlessly, yes. But she always returned smiling.

Always trying again.

Always choosing life again.

If it wasn't for her, neither you nor I would exist. We are standing here because she refused to give up. And she deserves to be remembered for that.

She was such a beautiful soul, K.

Always the loudest laugh in the room. The life of every gathering. Bringing people together, even while everyone else slowly drifted apart. So energetic. So spontaneous. So cheerful. She always had something to say, something to learn, somewhere to go.

And God... she was patient.

She never gave up on people easily. She put so much effort into making others feel loved, remembered, included. Even while silently breaking apart herself.

She loved so deeply. And maybe that was both her greatest strength and her greatest wound.

Dear old me —

the version of me who will never get to read this letter, the version who will never get to meet who we become —

Thank you.

Thank you for surviving long enough to bring me here. Thank you for not jumping that day. Thank you for putting the blade away. Thank you for surviving nights that felt impossible to survive.

I love you exactly as you were. With every flaw, every broken piece, every messy emotion, every imperfect decision.

You were loved. You are loved and you will be loved. You truly deserved to live long enough to meet us, to be us.

But life is what it is. I will carry your dreams forward, carefully.

And I promise —

I will keep living for all three of us until I finally meet K.

Yours,

K

I have used Moto, Realme, and OnePlus. The last one, I used was OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite. It was great, and quite durable. I have a tendency to manhandle my phone, and fortunately the phone never had a single scratch even after being tossed around daily.
I am looking for something with a similar durability, but better camera quality. I would be making regular social media content, and short films. I don't expect much, but still having a decent camera quality with some features, will do. Even if its a little on the higher range, do suggest.

Important Features:

  1. Good battery Life

  2. No Heating Issues

  3. Durable and sturdy

  4. Good Camera Quality
