New Rider — Help Me Choose Between These 3 Bikes

Hi guys! I’m planning to buy a new bike towards the end of this year, but I’m currently quite confused between three options: New Guerrilla 450, Continental GT 650, and Duke 390.

I know these three bikes are very different from each other and probably aren’t directly comparable, but I’m still struggling to make a decision on my own since I’m relatively new to riding. I’d really appreciate some advice based on your experience with these bikes.

For some context, my family currently has a 2025 Classic 350 and an older Xtreme (around 2014–15). I’ve mostly been riding the Classic 350 and I’m quite comfortable with it.

I’m also not very tall — around 5'4"–5'5". However, I’m comfortable handling the weight of the Classic 350, so the weight of a bike itself isn’t a major concern for me. Seat height and overall ergonomics are probably more important.

My main reasons for getting my own bike are:

  • I want to start doing long rides of 250–300+ km every 2–3 months.
  • Short rides and weekend rides here and there.
  • Office commute twice a week, around 12–13 km one way.
  • Occasionally going out/hanging out with friends in the evening.
  • I would also love to mod my bike to give it a personal touch and stand out thats why I have added GT 650 even after having a lot of cons.

I want something that I can enjoy riding regularly, is comfortable enough for occasional long rides, and feels like a good step up from the Classic 350.

🏍️ Motorcycle Storage & Care Service Idea for Goans Abroad — Need Your Thoughts!

Hey everyone,
I’m exploring a service idea for the motorcycle community in Goa and wanted to get feedback from fellow Goans and riders.

The Problem

Many Goans (including me) live abroad for most of the year but keep a bike back home. We end up relying on family or friends to start it, maintain it, keep the battery alive, protect it from weather/pests, etc. People get busy — and bikes suffer.

The Solution

A dedicated motorcycle storage & maintenance service designed for:

• Goans living abroad
• Long‑term tourists
• Premium bike owners

What the service would offer

• Secure indoor storage to protect bikes from rain, humidity, pests, and theft
• Battery maintenance (charging, trickle charging, periodic starts)
• Regular check‑ups to keep the bike healthy
• Add‑on servicing — we take your bike to the showroom, get the service done, and bring it back
• Delivery to your home when you return to Goa, ready to ride

Basically: a safe home for your bike + someone who keeps it running while you’re away.

Why I think it’s needed

I personally struggle with this — my bike sits at home in Goa while I’m abroad, and I hate depending on others to keep it alive.

I realised there’s a gap in the market for a professional, reliable solution.

What do you think ?
