New Rider — Help Me Choose Between These 3 Bikes

Hi guys! I’m planning to buy a new bike towards the end of this year, but I’m currently quite confused between three options: New Guerrilla 450, Continental GT 650, and Duke 390.

I know these three bikes are very different from each other and probably aren’t directly comparable, but I’m still struggling to make a decision on my own since I’m relatively new to riding. I’d really appreciate some advice based on your experience with these bikes.

For some context, my family currently has a 2025 Classic 350 and an older Xtreme (around 2014–15). I’ve mostly been riding the Classic 350 and I’m quite comfortable with it.

I’m also not very tall — around 5'4"–5'5". However, I’m comfortable handling the weight of the Classic 350, so the weight of a bike itself isn’t a major concern for me. Seat height and overall ergonomics are probably more important.

My main reasons for getting my own bike are:

  • I want to start doing long rides of 250–300+ km every 2–3 months.
  • Short rides and weekend rides here and there.
  • Office commute twice a week, around 12–13 km one way.
  • Occasionally going out/hanging out with friends in the evening.
  • I would also love to mod my bike to give it a personal touch and stand out thats why I have added GT 650 even after having a lot of cons.

I want something that I can enjoy riding regularly, is comfortable enough for occasional long rides, and feels like a good step up from the Classic 350.
