Has anyone here launched a campaign from a country not supported by Kickstarter/Indiegogo? How did you do it?

I'm from Moldova and I'm planning to build a full-scale airsoft field recreating de_dust2 from CS. Need to raise funds for construction.

Problem is Moldova isn't supported by Kickstarter or Indiegogo, so I can't just create a campaign normally.

Has anyone here dealt with launching from an unsupported country? What did you actually do? What worked, what didn't?

Import duties when buying from the US via Indiegogo?

I can’t seem to find a clear answer on how much tariff/import duty would be when you buy a device in this way?

I’ve seen that it could be anywhere from $100 to $600 on a circa 2k USD device (such as the Apex or 3).

Does anyone have any real world examples on they experienced in the same situation as me?
