Fall/Winter Styling Request

TLDR: first fall on Indyx! Style whatever speaks to you, and I will style you back!

For anyone who likes context—

—I like shorts and long sleeves combos :)
—I live in central US. Early fall days average 75-50 degrees (23 to 10 C)
—winter includes snow and ice, and temps average 45-20 degrees (7 to -6). We usually have a couple of weeks where the temps hover around 10 to -10 (-12 to -24), so don’t be afraid of practical shoes and layers 😂
—I work from home most days, and am especially looking to stay warm this winter and not just default to jeans and sweaters only (though I do love that look) and actually getting dressed/feeling cute working at home 😇

Style me for NYC!

I’m going to be NYC for the next couple of weeks with my husband and little one. It’s forecasted to be overcast and in the mid 60s-mid 70s (degrees F) for much of the time we will be there. I’ve only been to NYC in the summer before in the past, and remembered it was really humid. Not sure how much people feel humidity during the fall?

If any of you are in NYC, are there lots of microclimates within the city? In San Francisco, temperatures can vary a lot (20 or so degrees) for us pending on the neighborhood you’re in, but I think it’s because it’s so hilly which creates lots of microclimates, so then we need to pack layers when we go out for a day. Not sure if it’s similar in New York? Also it’s my understanding that attire is way more casual in SF than in NYC.

Looking for outfit ideas that will look decent and be practical for being out & about in NYC with a young child!

Style these weird dresses

Please style these three dresses that I never wear.
Two are from Fashion Brand Company- the striped dress is cute but because I’m top heavy (plus sized + huge boobs) i feel like it can easily lean matronly auntie on the prairie. The moth dress is iconic but can be hard to style for my body type (again….huge boobs, minimal butt) plus its not necessarily daily wear (but I’d like to wear it to my part time luxury retail job someday!)
The third dress is from defunct UK brand One Boutique that I got in 2015. I haven’t worn it in years. It’s neoprene and the slits come up pretty high, so at this point it has to be worn over pants or tights, or exclusively in a party/going out context.

Feel free to look at previous outfits for each item , if there are any. Looking forward to community input 😇

Fall outfits - new fun pieces!

I bought a lot of different pieces for fall! I wanted to be more intentional and have fun with my clothes. I dressed in black for so long, I finally feel confident enough to not be scared of colors!

I’m looking for work outfits, date night, hanging out with friends, doing activities with my children.

I still have a little post partum belly so I like to camouflage that part 🫣

Style me and I’ll style back 🤗
