Infosys L1 Joining on 29 June with Pending 1-Credit Summer Semester Result – Am I in Trouble?

Hey guys,

I got selected for Infosys L1 and my joining date is 29 June. I have already received my Course Completion Certificate from my university.

However, I have one 1-credit course that I completed The issue is that the result for this course will be declared only in August, so it won’t be reflected in my 8th-semester marksheet.

I have successfully completed the course and can get supporting documents from my college, but I’m worried whether the pending result might create any issue during joining, document verification, or background verification.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Were you allowed to join with a Course Completion Certificate while waiting for a pending result?

I’m honestly feeling quite stressed and lost about this. 🥲 Any advice or experiences would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance! 🙏

Infosys Launchpad - 8th Semester Result Not Declared Yet, What Should I Upload?

Hi everyone,

I have received my joining and I am currently completing document submission on Infosys Launchpad. However, my 8th semester result has not been declared by my university yet.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Were you able to upload a Bonafide Certificate or a "Result Awaited" certificate instead of the final semester marksheet?

If yes:

- What document did you upload?

- Was it accepted by Infosys?

- Did you need to submit the final marksheet later?

Any guidance from recent Infosys joiners would be really helpful.

Thank you!

Infosys DSE Offer Letter Not Received Yet, While My College Mates Have

Some of my college mates have already received their Infosys DSE offer letters, but I still haven't received mine. We appeared through the same hiring process(hack with infy), and as far as I know, there haven't been any issues from my side.

Has anyone experienced something similar before? Do Infosys offer letters get released in batches, or should I be concerned?

For context:

Role: Infosys DSE (Digital Specialist Engineer)

Batch: 2026

Interview Date: 4 September 2025

If anyone has faced a similar situation or has any information, I'd appreciate your insights.

DSE Offer letter

I received my Infosys Digital Specialist Engineer (DSE) offer letter yesterday, with a joining date of 20 July 2026 and Mysore as the training location.

However, I have a concern. A friend told me that Infosys may require the final degree marksheet during onboarding. Currently, I do not have my degree marksheet, and since I am from AKTU, it may not be issued until next year. Even the provisional degree certificate is expected to be available only around August or September.

At present, I am working at a startup. Given this situation, should I resign now based on the offer, or should I wait until I get clarity regarding the degree documents and onboarding requirements?

Anyone still on "to be interviewed"?

All of my batchmates who were selected with me have received offer letter but I have not yet received.

Can anyone tell me when will I receive it or anyone on same status as of me?

Infosys DSE stream selection – what does 3 months of training actually teach you? (Java vs Data Science/AI)

Hey everyone,

So I recently joined Infosys as a DSE (Digital Specialist Engineer) and I'm currently at the Mysore DC for the induction. Managed to clear the pre-test so now I get to pick my stream, which sounds great until you actually have to choose one lol.

The ETA faculty listed these as the available options:

  1. Java + Angular

  2. Data Science & Agentic AI

  3. UI Stack

  4. Data Engineering

  5. Microsoft Azure + .NET

Would really love to hear from people who've already been through this. A few things I'm genuinely confused about:

**1. What does the actual training look like?**

Like what do they actually teach in those 3 months? Especially curious about Java + Angular and the Data Science & Agentic AI tracks. Is it just the basics or do they go into specific tools and frameworks too?

**2. How job-ready do you actually come out?**

After finishing the stream, are you actually ready to contribute on a project or is there still a big learning curve once you hit the floor? Honest answers please — not looking for the brochure version.

**3. My actual dilemma — Java or AI?**

This is what's keeping me up at night a little. If I go with Data Science & Agentic AI, I feel like I'll miss out on solid full-stack fundamentals that are always in demand. But if I go Java + Angular, I worry I'll be behind on the whole AI/GenAI wave that's happening right now. Has anyone dealt with this? Can you realistically learn the other side on your own while working, or is that wishful thinking?

**4. Which stream actually pays off long term?**

Not just in terms of salary but also the kind of projects you get, how fast you grow, and how the market values the skill. If you had to pick one for someone starting out right now, which would it be and why?

**5. Any streams you'd avoid or ones that are underrated?**

Anything on that list that looks good on paper but isn't really worth it? Or something most people overlook but is actually solid?

Any personal experience or even just your honest opinion would mean a lot. Thanks!

Hackwithinfy Infosys Interview Experience

I was shortlisted for DSE Role Interview through Hackwithinfy 2026 and attended my interview on May 8.

And not yet received my results yet

Do anyone know any updates regarding the results??

My interviewer was very friendly and He first asked me to introduce about myself and then asked about my project and gave me a paper to write code for the questions and the questions were:

  1. Given a string and print the output string after removing repeating words
  2. Common Divisor of given array
  3. Sql query to display no. of students in each dept (using group by)

In the above questions I solved the 2 questions full correct and solved one question with higher complexity

At last when I asked about my performance he replied “Fairly Good” and what are the chances of getting the job??

DSE Onboarding Experience || 2025 Batch

Shared By : u/New-Watercress-5694

----

got confirmation on July 14 and got offer letter on August 8... And joining data was September 15.

After you got offer letter.. they will mail you regarding a portal Infosys launchpad.. it's for your onboarding process.. they will ask your details and they will ask to upload service agreement bond. They will conduct session regarding how to do this and QA sessions.. once you finished updating every details that have been asked ... There will be an option to submit... If there is any mistake u have made while updating details... They will mail you and tell what mistake u have made and u need to redo it .. once you finsihed everything perfectly.... 3 or 2 days before your joining date you will get onboarding pass .. which u need to show in the entrance and also in the hall and collect your temporary id card ... They will guide you from the main gate itself... So don't wry about that

After that you will get your allocated room and for first three or four days you will have induction program and english class , after that you will get your permanent id card and laptop, and they will conduct one test (pre-test) they will tell we will allocate you into different tech stacks based on this and if u score more than 90 , the stack which u like , u can choose ... That is bullshit.. there is nothing like that, they won't let u choose on your own .. because they must have already allocated the tech stacks which you are going to be trained

So don't even worry about pre-test and after that you will domain training will get started... That differs for every domain ... After that you will have english assessment... There will be two assessment and one project... You need to score 50 out of 100 to get pass and your total average should be 65 out of 100 including 2 assessment and 1 project... If u cleared everything.. you will be given Black tag id card which means you are employee and you will send to any location

Anyone else stuck on "Withdraw" in Infosys Careers Portal after DSE/SE selection?

Hi everyone,

I am getting really worried about my Infosys hiring status and wanted to know if anyone else is facing a similar situation.

I was selected for both SE and DSE roles. In my Infosys Careers portal, both applications still show the "Withdraw" button. However, over the last few days, many students from my college who were selected have seen their status change to "Decision Pending".

From what I have heard, "Decision Pending" is usually the final status update before Infosys releases the offer letter. Also, in my region, students from some other colleges have already received DOJs for May 25 and June 22.

What is making me anxious is that almost everyone else's portal status seems to have been updated, while mine has remained on "Withdraw" for a very long time without any change.

Has anyone else been selected for SE/DSE and still has the "Withdraw" status? Did your status eventually change? If anyone has experienced something similar or has any information, I would really appreciate your insights.

Thanks in advance!
