Been dealing with these myself. The right toe I rubbed too hard and caused this shit to start up but x3 I’m assuming ingrowns? Been using this granulotion for a bit of time and is helping slowly and been using corrector stuff for the most part and been soaking and leaving them out to get air but not sure what your guys opinion is. They don’t really hurt unless I physically push on them with my finger.

Permanent Removal

I got both of my big toe nails removed a few hours ago! Has anyone had any experience with nail spicules growing in after a few months? I’m just super over this entire thing.

Finished a week of antibiotics 24 hours ago, feeling heat and tenderness returning.

Happen to anyone else or is it possible I didn't fully get rid of the infection?

It looked pretty good barring the inflammation before it got a new dressing but I'm just anxious.

UPDATE: saw my nurse today. The redness is still there but the heat is gone and oozing stopped. She thinks there's no infection but told me to keep treating with salt water and dressings for a few weeks and monitor. I have my follow up with the podiatrist in June to discuss full removal surgery too!

so embarrassing.Ugly toes

It's been like this for years because I have horrible anxiety and panic attacks when it comes to the DR i.haf it removed about ten years ago but it grew back funky because of the fungus. Now it's grown back and curves. Looks like a rams horn.

My foot is also covered in horrible dry skin. I'm assuming that's the fungus taking over???

TW: kinda gross toenail pic. Does my toenail have a chance of being normal again?

Three years ago, I began running long distances and doing so it has affected the growth and appearance of my toenail after about a year of running almost everyday. At first my nail became thick, yellow, and looked as if there were multiple layers stacked on top of my original toenail. I cut it as if it were any other toenail, but I noticed it never grew back like my other toenails did. At one point, I'm pretty sure it was ingrown and it caused me a lot of pain, so I got it checked up and got told nothing was wrong with it. Ended up wasting $200 for a check up, yikes. I decided to remove the ingrown parts myself and it resulted in a lot of relief. This was about a year ago. However, a few months later the toenail completely fell out and about a week later this grew back. This has been my toenail for almost 3 months. While it doesn't cause me any pain or discomfort, it looks weird and it doesn't grow. Also I have stopped running around the time it was ingrown to prevent further damage and now I just lift to remain active. Is there any possible way it can revert back to a normal toenail or will it stay like this forever? I have no idea what even happened to my toenail, so I'm unsure if there is any way of taking care of it properly or getting some kind of procedure done to fix it. I hate my toenail and my girlfriend always bugs me about it soo I really want to get it fixed.

Can’t believe something this small was causing me so much pain

I usually remove my own ingrowns at home but this one in particular was so difficult to cut out I had to go to a Podiatrist.

how bad is it?

the pain isn’t much, i can remove it but my nail is so small that my skin is pressing on it and making it grow inward
