Do you think yogurt never learned how to drive because he constantly fell asleep at the wheel?

Do you think yogurt never learned how to drive because he constantly fell asleep at the wheel?

Because I sure do!

(I like putting these characters in stupid situations because it usually feels like something that might actually happen in the verse knowing how wild things are in there.)

Can Yogiri End an Endlessly Recurring Metaphysical Threat?

I’ve been thinking about a rather weird hypothetical scenario involving Yogiri’s ability, and I’m curious how it would actually interact with this particular kind of problem.

The important part is that this is not about killing an ordinary immortal being. The problem is the metaphysical process itself.

Imagine a cosmology in which Unchangeability and Change are fundamentally opposed principles. Neither can simply cease to exist without causing a contradiction in reality.

At some point, Change occurs within Unchangeability, and this contradiction causes consciousness to emerge.

That consciousness becomes aware of itself and perceives existence as something that should not be. Its fundamental purpose is therefore to end Change and restore Unchangeability.

Now suppose Yogiri encounters that consciousness and perceives it as a threat.

He uses his ability.

The consciousness dies.

But this doesn't actually solve the underlying problem.

The conditions that caused the consciousness to emerge still exist. Unchangeability still exists. Change still exists. Their interaction still produces the same contradiction.

So eventually, another consciousness emerges from exactly the same metaphysical conflict.

Yogiri encounters it.

He ends it.

And then the same thing happens again.

And again.

And again.

This is what I mean by an endlessly recurring metaphysical threat.

The individual consciousnesses are not immortal. Yogiri can presumably end each one without difficulty. The problem is that killing one does not remove the underlying conditions that inevitably produce the next one.

So my question is:

Can Yogiri actually end this permanently?

Would his ability somehow recognize that the newly emerging consciousness is effectively the same threat and prevent another one from ever emerging?

Or would he simply have to keep ending each new consciousness whenever it appears?

Because if his ability operates according to his perception of what constitutes the threat, I find the second possibility particularly interesting.

The new consciousness would technically be a completely new entity. It wouldn't be the consciousness Yogiri killed previously. It would merely be the result of the same metaphysical process.

And that raises an even stranger question:

Can Yogiri end something before it exists?

If the answer is no, then it seems like he could potentially be trapped in an endless cycle:

metaphysical contradiction → consciousness emerges → Yogiri ends it → contradiction remains → new consciousness emerges → Yogiri ends it → repeat

To permanently solve the problem, wouldn't Yogiri have to end Change itself, Unchangeability itself, or the interaction between them?

And if he can do that, what exactly does that mean for his ability?

I'm genuinely curious how Yogiri's powers would handle something like this, because it seems fundamentally different from simply being confronted by an infinitely powerful or immortal opponent.

Is demon lord gorbagion possibly a worldview holder?

A Worldview Holder is a person who functions as the personification of a given worldview, a central figure around whom a version of reality coheres. They're not necessarily doing this consciously; it's a passive trait tied to who they are, not an active power they choose to use.

So in novel gorbagion Celestial foundation was destroyed yet he survived because a god gave him an power. After that he entered in another Celestial foundation though in one battle he used "I am not yet full power" to defeat luu who was a being from Sea of stars and had absolute defence Power. In starting this was looking like smurf hax with cheap writing ig. But if we look through lens of worldview holder logic, it would make sense. Because he believed in his power much enough, his worldview absorbed luu worldview and demoted her character while made him win against her. By this logic, luu power was always absolute defence conceptually, while Metaphysically she lost against gorbagion belief.

Even in Fujitakaverse series a person couldn't know that they are worldview holders unless outers or someone else told them. (Even yuichi didn't know that)

this series gets too much hate

i've come across so many hate posts, and they are seriously acting like they are brain dead.

>Is it okay if I say I find Yogiri the most unfunny thing ever, since his power is literally any child’s OC ability?

no need to pretend your idea is controversial lil bro you're in an echo chamber

>I’ve read about him and honestly, his powers are exactly what a kid would describe for their OC, extremely vague and can be summarized as "No MY CAracTer beats yOurS beCuaSe"

ok bro you try writing a series then LMAO. one punch man is similar and doesn't get that much hate. and who said the ideas of children are bad??!?!?

>And the fact that the author says that if Yogiri ever lost a matchup it’s because you're ''ignoring his writing'' is just plain cringe.

how is that cringe man? you didn't finish your thought. your one braincell got overloaded?

>Is it okay? Last I checked, it was required to find him as the unfunniest, gargantuan bum ever written.

yeah sure seems "ok" for most people who hate on anything deviating from the norm

>the author makes zero illusions about the fact that his story's entire IRL purpose is to piss off powerscalers in perpetuity.

bro he just wrote an op isekai story, if you get pissed off at it for no reason its your own fault

Protagonist (Neechan Wa Chuunibyou

The Winner Takes It All:

The power of the Protagonist is essentially probability manipulation, which is based on Plot Manipulation. When someone becomes involved with the Protagonist, whether as an opponent or in any other role, they are essentially destined to lose from the very beginning, because their probability of winning is 0, or nonexistent.

The Lucky Ones:

Because they are a Protagonist, opponents will never attack the Protagonist before the Protagonist attacks first, and opponents may even flee for no apparent reason. This is a common occurrence across various series.

Not only that, bullets will not hit the Protagonist, and the Protagonist possesses extraordinary adaptation, allowing them to constantly adapt to virtually anything and acquire abilities according to the circumstances.

The Protagonist is essentially designed to have every advantage, causing them to always attract attention from others and ultimately emerge victorious.

The Battle of Protagonists:

When there are two or more Protagonists, they will clash through their respective stories. The winner will gain authority over the weaker one, as already explained through the concepts of Worldview Holder and Worldview.

The difference here is that this battle puts their Protagonist status at stake. Naturally, the winner will take the opposing Protagonist's power or role.

Reactive Evolution and Adaptation:

When two Protagonists fight, their abilities will clash, and the one with the strongest Will to Power will win.

Why? Because their abilities are entirely passive. Since both possess passive Probability Manipulation, they effectively nullify each other's probability manipulation. Therefore, through Reactive Evolution and Adaptation, one of them can ultimately prevail, provided they possess the stronger Will to Power.

Thus, it can be assumed that the Protagonist can gain resistance to Reactive Evolution.

The Ending of the Stories:

Can bring an end to a story.

Senses:

Can predict an opponent's movements and identify their weak points.
