Who would win between 2nd Ideal Skybreaker and 10th Heightening Awakener

I asked before about Mistborn vs 2nd Ideal Skybreaker, and people are generally in agreement that Skybreaker > Mistborn. I asked the same for Mistborn vs 10th Heightening, and it was Awakener > Mistborn. But they generally agreed in both that the matchups were close.

So between the Skybreaker and the Awakener, who would win? Both are battle ready, Skybreaker has full battle supply of Stormlight spheres, Awakener has plenty of colorful clothing and 50,000 Breaths. They know about each other's powers.

this series gets too much hate

i've come across so many hate posts, and they are seriously acting like they are brain dead.

>Is it okay if I say I find Yogiri the most unfunny thing ever, since his power is literally any child’s OC ability?

no need to pretend your idea is controversial lil bro you're in an echo chamber

>I’ve read about him and honestly, his powers are exactly what a kid would describe for their OC, extremely vague and can be summarized as "No MY CAracTer beats yOurS beCuaSe"

ok bro you try writing a series then LMAO. one punch man is similar and doesn't get that much hate. and who said the ideas of children are bad??!?!?

>And the fact that the author says that if Yogiri ever lost a matchup it’s because you're ''ignoring his writing'' is just plain cringe.

how is that cringe man? you didn't finish your thought. your one braincell got overloaded?

>Is it okay? Last I checked, it was required to find him as the unfunniest, gargantuan bum ever written.

yeah sure seems "ok" for most people who hate on anything deviating from the norm

>the author makes zero illusions about the fact that his story's entire IRL purpose is to piss off powerscalers in perpetuity.

bro he just wrote an op isekai story, if you get pissed off at it for no reason its your own fault

What does Stormlight actually do?

On Coppermind in Kaladin's page it says

>By breathing in Stormlight, he gains superhuman strength, speed, agility, durability, stamina, and healing.

This was under "Surgebinding" and not "Shardwielding".

But I thought normal Stormlight (no shard/surges) just gives healing??? This is describing Shardpate though...

Asking for advice

I'm playing endless for Neon Mixtape Tour (Greatest Hits) and Modern Day (Highway to the Danger Room)

My primary offensive plant is pokra. I'm debating whether to use pumpkin, explode-o-vine, or blastberry vine on it (they are all the same level)

For context, I usually plant pokra on the 1st or 2nd-most front column of the lawn, as well as another layer close to the house.

Steel Inquisitors

Hemalurgic spikes lose some of the power that they steal, so someone who has stolen the 8 basic metals is weaker than a standard Mistborn.

In addition, they can't see properly, definitely not as well as a standard Mistborn, and with all those spikes stuffed into their bodies, their movements should be at least a little stiff.

If that wasn't enough, not all inquisitors had the ability of atium, and as we know, any well trained Mistborn carries a sufficient amount of it when battle-ready. (Not to mention even those that recieved it burn atium weaker than a standard Mistborn, which is a huge deal because its a very powerful metal.)

Now, we know what made them strong was that some were made from existing mistings and mistborn, and most were given feruchemical gold in addition to the 8 basic metals. But Sanderson has commented that neither of these conditions apply to all inquisitors.

In addition, for inquisitors that were not mistborn prior, just having feruchemical gold for the trade off of all your other metals except maybe one being weaker than a standard Mistborn makes them seem not that much stronger than a standard Mistborn, if at all. In some situations, they seem weaker.

Now you might be thinking, 'well, they could have just recieved two atium spikes, or two feruchemical gold spikes', and I checked both the books and Coppermind, and that is definitely not the case.

So why do they have a reputation for being universally fearsome, even unkillable, to both nobles and skaa? It would appear that those that were not mistborn prior, which is the vast majority of them, are at most just somewhat stronger than a standard Mistborn, and for those that did not receive feruchemical gold, or allomantic atium, which by Sanderson's words seem to be at least a sizable portion of them, they are essentially weaker than a standard Mistborn in virtually every aspect, and not just slightly weaker.

All it takes is one or two inquisitor to die at the hands of a mistborn, and the reputation for them being unkillable or leagues above standard Mistborn should be dispelled.

Before you say mistborn are rare or something, its said that all ten of the Great Houses had at least one mistborn, the utter top houses definitely had much more than one. And before you say that the Great Houses dare not mess with the Final Empire, we can see from Book 1 prologue that its implied noble Houses who don't follow rules are attacked by the government, and there are definitely Great Houses that dare to break the rules, like House Venture, or just those that want to breed with skaa, so there would be at least a few instances of a mistborn fighting an inquisitor in self defense or for vengeance of their clan/head being exterminated.

So am I missing something here? Or is this one of those rare plot-holes?

my ranking of Healing Factors (correct if wrong)

A-pewter

flaring A-pewter

A-pewter + A-duralumin

F-gold

Stormlight healing

Stormlight healing + Progression surge

F-gold (tapped at a compounder's pace) = A-burning F-gold

Elantrian

Elantrian + Aon Ien

A-burning F-gold + A-duralumin

Divine Breath (1 time use)

Dragon

Exist Dawnshard

(I'm actually not sure about a lot of these, like a Radiant with Progression surge vs Gold Compounder, or Gold Compounder vs Elantrian)

I don't understand the Surge Division

If you are either a Skybreaker or Dustbringer who already has a Shardblade, I feel like Division is essentially useless.

In combat, Shardblade has more range since Division needs contact (if I'm not mistaken). Shardblade can parry another Shardblade, and damages Shardplate, both of which Division can't do.

The only use Division I can think of is if there's a hill or fortified wall in your way and you need to melt it down to make way, but that's very much a one time thing, and self-evidently, only useful when you are not fighting open field.

That's not even considering that Cohesion and Transformation can basically do the same thing. Sure, it might be a bit less effective or efficient, but they can do so much more than just destruction of an obstacle. That's why my impression is that Division is a one trick pony whose trick isn't even unique.

Is there something that I'm missing here? Cuz Division has always been hyped up as this super dangerous Surge, but I really don't see anything powerful about it.

Can Shards kill someone that won't die to smites?

So I saw where Sanderson confirmed that a Shard could smite someone, provided they were unopposed by other Shards, but that's more of a physical strike, like getting cut with a sword.

But what if a person is impervious to ordinary injuries and can't be easily separated from their healing source because they have multiple of them, like someone that's both an Elantrian and a Fullborn (compounding health and connection to the Dor)?

Could a Shard (even if they would harm or weaken themselves in the process) muster enough power to completely delete that individual from existence? Alternatively, maybe they could simply sever that person's Connection from the Physical Realm, basically killing them, or sever their ability to use Invested Arts, or drain all of their Investiture, and then smite them as usual?

What would happen if an Elantrian or 5th Heightening filled up metalminds

Elantrians and 5th Heightenings do not need to do a myriad of things that normal humans need to do, like replenish nutrition and calories or breathing. They also seemingly live forever and are in perfect health.

So, what would happen if they tried to store energy (bendalloymind), breath (cadmiummind), youth (atiummind), or health (goldmind)?

Would filling it slightly cause these attributes to be immediately replenished for them? If they filling it a lot, would they eventually be in danger of death? And would some attributes, like youth, cause them to get permanently older (though obviously still not aging while not filling)?

question about Inquisitors

inquisitors are for combat. why did the lord ruler give inquisitors spikes for emotional allomancy? is he stupid? that isn't practical for combat.

only explanation i can think of is that it was necessary to complete the Hemalurgic Construct.

Vin vs. Skybreaker, both has metals/stormlight supply that they usually carry with them to battle. Battle takes place on Scadrial. They have full knowledge of each other's abilities.

My question is: what Ideal would the Skybreaker have to be to defeat or evenly match Vin, and which would it be, evenly matched or able to defeat her?

Bonus: Consider if the answer would be different if they didn't have any knowledge of each other's abilities.

For clarification:

Vin has combat experience up to end of Well of Ascension. Vin cannot draw from the mists. She has access to and knowledge of the 8 basic metals + Duralumin and Bendalloy. (She didn't use Bendalloy while she was alive, so assume her supply of Bendalloy is equal to fully stocked Wayne during the Lost Metal.) No atium or its alloys obviously.

Skybreaker is well seasoned veteran of desolations that fought alongside heralds. Skybreaker has no access to Shardblade until the 3rd Ideal or access to Shardplate until the 4th Ideal. When assuming 5th Ideal powers if there's anything uncertain just make a inference, no matter how wild is better than saying we don't know.
