I did have someone try to talk me out of buying one but it was the one I truly wanted.

First time getting a Apple phone, I did have someone try and talk me out of this one when I mentioned I was considering it but there's something about it that pulled me towards it. I did have to switch from visible for the deal but not a bad price, I can't wait for it to arrive currently my pixel 7A is a question mark on how long it will last before turning off from 5-30 minutes.

iPhone Air losing 25–30% battery per day with almost no use - any ideas?

I’m facing extremely high battery drain on my iPhone Air. It’s losing around 25–30% battery per day despite barely being used. Screenshot attached for reference.

Device stats:

62 cycle count (not my primary device)

100% battery health

Purchased 11 months ago

Things I’ve already tried:

Updated the software through an Apple Authorized Service Centre to 26.6.1

Had the device checked using Apple’s diagnostic software - no issues found

Backed up everything and completely erased the device, but the drain continued

Disabled Background App Refresh

Disabled both mobile data and Wi-Fi

Tested it in Airplane Mode

No obvious battery-draining features are enabled, such as Always-On Display

Despite all of this, the battery is dropping like a rock every day, even when the phone is essentially sitting unused.

Has anyone else experienced this with the iPhone Air? What could be causing this, and is there anything else I should try before taking it back to Apple?

iPhone Air should be the basic IPhone most us go to!

I made the shift from the 16 pro to the AIR and glad I did.

Reading the reviews I was expecting a shallow mediocre speaker, and to my surprise, it’s not bad at all. Is there a difference with the pro? Most certainly. Is the difference night and day? No.

I was also expecting a bad camera, but it delivered nicely. Battery life is better than my iPhone 16 pro after the update, which is what a phone should last if you’re the average professional adult that have other things in his life other than being on his phone 24/7

iPhone AIR is the first Iphone that feels like a REAL complete phone in a long while, not just a crammed technological box that either have all the features or is missing some depending on how much you’re willing to pay.

My point is that we got spoiled by technology and got served more than we need.

For everyone hesitating, go ahead you won’t regret.

I'm dyiiiiiiiiiiiing 😭

Guys I did it! I ordered a Air. It's replacing my XS which is actually still pretty nice IMHO. I was bored and wanted something new. The Air is just going to be my second device since my main device is a Fold 7 and Android is so much better. Please don't hate me for speaking my truth. It's like speaking two languages to me it's important to know both OS's. I use my iPhone for mails, banking, apple pay and some government apps because passwords and it being super useful and handy. I'm subscribed to AM and my XS didn't get iOS 26 and obviously 27. I want to experience AM's "new" interface, things like karaoke and the haptic feedback thingy. I want to see how iOS handles AOD although I know it's not bright as on Samsung devices. I ordered the black one and I think it's super pretty. I don't care about the camera or battery but I'm sad about the one speaker because the speakers on iPhones Pro's are really good. I'm not going to use a case since I never do and even after two years my devices look like new. A19 Pro with 12GB RAM seems to be pretty good although I noticed on the demo device it getting super hot while doing basic stuff. But I don't care. Like I mentioned I'm super impressed with the XS, for being a old device it's still pretty good and usable. I expect the AIR to age the same.

Anyway, I hate online shopping, if I'm lucky I will receive it Saturday but if not on Monday. That's why I'm dying.

Caseless worth the risk?

So I’ve had the iPhone Air for a while but I was always hesitant about whether I should go caseless or not if it’s worth the risk I’ve been using the pitaka cases for a while and they are pretty good but nothing beats that feeling of a caseless iPhone Air

Should I get it ?

Let me explain the use case .. I am using 13 mini and I want to get the Air .. money is not the issue.
I really want to know how does it feel to use on 5G or LTE may be 1-2 hours I need to be on Data and remaining on Wifj if that matters ! Does it get warm or hot easily ?
Is the mono speaker is bad to take calls on ?
Battery life not much of an issue as I have chargers every where .. I live in Middle East so temperature wil be hot during summers
Need some opinions .. not a heavy user .. just browse .. some Reddit .. little YouTube.. emails .. what’s app and instagram and some calls

Will the A19 Pro in the iPhone Air age better than the Base iPhone 17?

Hey guys,

Trying to decide between the base iPhone 17 and the iPhone Air. My main goal is just keeping a snappy, reliable interface for 3+ years.

I’m on a 13 Pro right now, and comparing it to a friend’s base 13, mine aged way better fewer stutters, no random screen dimming, and just feels faster overall.

Looking at the A19 vs A19 Pro specs though, both have a 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU. On paper, raw performance looks pretty much identical this year.

So for long-term daily use, does the Pro chip actually keep things running smoother down the road, or was my 13 Pro just aging better because of the 120Hz display and extra RAM?

New Air Owner - photography lenses?

Hi all

Yesterday I received my new iPhone Air, coming from an iPhone 16. I have to say this form factor feels special, it finally feels like a piece of glass in my hand. The 16 now feels bulky and meh.

I think I will miss the ultra-wide lense and am considering a case which you can attach lenses to when travelling, I have a cheap clip on “ultra-wide” lense but it doesn’t come close to the 16 and adds curvature to the photo. Does anyone have any recommendations please, and some example photos?

I’ve read about the front camera trick so will give that a go at some point.

Thank you.

Air gets warm with everything

So I just bought the Iphone Air a bit over 2 weeks ago. I love the phone, it’s beautiful and a real upgrade from my 15 pro max.
The only thing that bothers me is that it gets warm with literally everything I do on it. Whenever i’m listening to music, looking things up on the internet, or scrolling on social media the phone gets warmer. Not drastically but just so I can feel a temperature difference at the top of the phone. Yesterday when I was on FaceTime it got really hot and I had to stop the call before it got overheated.
I called Apple Support today and they said I had to wait it out for 2 more weeks but I’m honestly getting kind of annoyed by the constantly warm phone in my hands and pocket.
Is this a normal thing with the IPhone Air? What can I do to help this?

iPhone Air ( Day one user)

Been a day one user came from iPhone 15 pro max and I feel this is the best iPhone I’ve used. Two things I would definitely love to see added is a secondary ultra wide lens and a stereo speaker setup. While carbon battery would be nice I don’t feel it’s needed in the current state

People say iPhone Air’s battery is weak

iOS 27 beta 6, manual adjust brightness, wifi only, 10 hours sot still 20% left

An opinion on Phone cases

I strongly believe a phone case is like training wheels when learning how to ride a bike.

Let me explain.

90% + of the time when you drop your phone and it gets damaged, it follows the same avoidable pattern.

When you get out of the car, and your phone slips out your pocket.

When you take it out of your pocket and your hand slips.

When you’re fidgeting with your phone.

List goes on.

Learn how to avoid it, and you will never drop your phone again.

Grab your pocket when you get out of the car.

Grip your phone harder and with intent.

Stop fidgeting.

Just hold the damn thing and learn from your mistakes. We are almost on iteration 20 of these artworks in our pocket. You should know how to not drop them by now.

Life is short. Drop the case. Drop the screen protector.
Enjoy the design.

After all, it’s just a phone.
