The iPhone Air 2 is rumored to have a flush back panel, with two cameras not protruding

I lied. I just made this up. I’m doing it to prove a point. There are so many rumors on this sub, how many of them even have a source? People are just posting whatever they want.

$UBER, follow the smart money - DD

Why is no one talking about Uber?

We are 30% below 52-week high on cyber cab robotaxi fears, but who gives a fuck when Uber is literally becoming the distribution for AV (autonomous vehicle) rides. They literally committed $7.5b to buying robo taxis for self operation and $2.5b in VC investments across dozens of companies, many of which they are already working with.

Main names:

Waymo
Zoox
Nuro
Lucid
Rivian
WeRide
Wayve
Avride
Baidu (Apollo Go)
Pony.ai
Verne
NVIDIA
Volkswagen (MOIA)
Stellantis
Moove
Torc

It should be clear to you regards by now that distribution matters way more than tech. No one is downloading the Tesla robo taxi app when they can have human and robo drivers from 30+ providers in one app on Uber, under their Uber 1 subscription.

Furthermore, executives are literally buying more, when their compensation is so heavily skewed to equity. Imagine you’re the CEO making less than $5M a year in cash ($30M stock), you’re worth $200M and $150M of that is in Uber stock, and you decide to buy more? How do you even explain that to your wife.

Alright here’s the insider buys:

Insider buying (~$17M total):

Dara (CEO): $10M @ $70.96 (Sept 10); 2025 comp $35.6M, ~87% equity

Macdonald (COO): $5.3M @ ~$75.8 (Sept 4); 2025 comp $25.6M, ~77% equity

Balaji (CFO): ~$1.6M earlier in 2026

Execs out of the way, Pelosi has fucking calls expiring in March. She’s down 20% on them. You can copy trade this crook and make 25% before she even hits her break even:

She reportedly has: $500K–$1M Mar 2027 $50 calls, bought May 29

Ok sure she’s deep ITM so this is basically levered stock, but she still chose calls because she’s very bullish. She knows something we don’t, she doesn’t gamble.

Also, amazing business metrics:

Bookings are up 22% YoY, trips are up 18%. They’re growing fast, they’re trading at a 2.8x multiple on sales when historically they were at 4x.

I haven’t touched options since I rode puts on SPY down to $220 during covid, 5x my portfolio and losing it all as I became a perma bear. I’m back now, for this play specifically.

Positions: $75 strike, 19Mar27 calls

Should I buy more or hold in HYSA

In the next two weeks I’ll receive $8,400 post tax.

I’m owed $6,400 in a tax refund I should get next year in the early months.

I have 0.1 BTC, and around $2,000 in cash right now.

I’m going to Shanghai where I’m not sure how much my spending will be (my apartment is paid for already). Most spending will be restaurants and travel within China. My best estimate is somewhere around $1,000 a month. I’m there for 4 months, so $4k spend.

Then I go to south east Asia for backpacking where I’m budgeting around $500-750 a week, though I’m not positive on these numbers. I think I can pull off $500 a week all in, for 17 weeks, so call it $8,500.

So to sum it up, I’ll need about $13,000 to spend over the next 10 months or so, before I move back home and have no expenses with a job starting soon after.

Counting my tax refund and my income and my current savings plus my bitcoin I have, about $23K. That’s about a $10k cushion.

Would any of you buy more bitcoin in this situation? I’m thinking if I resource constrain myself I may be more inclined to just spend less, and if I really need it I could just sell the bitcoin. Idk not sure what to do here, these prices seem great

Best Manhattan based barber for longer hair, middle part?

My usual guy is fully booked so I need a barber preferably close to midtown or upper east side who can do a layered scissor haircut or somewhat specializes in longer hair. I don’t want to take a chance on someone who’s gonna give me a bowl cut.

Thanks

I’m gonna take one of these docks and chuckle as I scroll at 9:30 at all of the “midtown has no docking stations open” posts

Lock tf in, wake up earlier. Who’s gonna lift the boats?

Just bought my first 0.1

I’ve been in and out of bitcoin over the last 4 years because that’s when I graduated highschool and every time I needed money I’d sell my tiny stack. I’ve worked jobs over the years and lived a lifestyle more expensive than I needed to. But finally I graduated and I noticed the price has been tanking lately. So I just aped in for 0.1 bitcoin. I’m going to keep buying this juicy dip until I hit 1 bitcoin, which could take a while. But it’s a start!

You’re all regarded

I was here during the COVID crash buying puts down to a $220 SPY and buying puts again into the rally. Once I blew up my account I got a part time job at Wendy’s to be a “trader” during college. All of that money went right back into being a perma bear 🌈

I tried to play earnings many times and got burned. Eventually I took a break and decided to never trade options again. Years later I learned you can just do this for a bank and I decided to give it another shot. I just started my job in equity deriv trading at a large U.S. bank. Working here has taught me how much these guys are fucking you.

They have a bunch of complex models built around selling options above fair value and buying them below. These guys live and breathe the markets, it’s all they do. And you think you can outsmart someone’s who’s been doing it for 20 years? I’ve seen these traders short calls and buy stock a day before ex div date just to see if one of you regards will forget to exercise so they can earn a free dividend to get a bigger bonus to pay that Hamptons house mortgage.

You’re literally just playing against the house. You wouldn’t put your daughter’s college fund on black, so why are you buying options here? This is a casino.
