New fall James Avery releases . . . What are your thoughts?

Nothing caught my eye. JA seems to be focused on and pushing their collegiate line of jewelry. No gold 😔 I’ve been waiting, hoping they would add some new gold charms before Christmas.

UPDATE to 14k Gold Teddy Bear Ring. Taking offers!

Hello!

Link to original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/JamesAveryCharms/s/x05xnpmGC1

Ring is size 6-6 1/4

I want to preface this by apologizing for the long post but I think you guys would appreciate it if anyone!

I posted a couple weeks ago about a gold teddy bear James Avery ring I found under one of the sinks of the house I recently bought.

I reached out to James Avery and they sent me back an email, which I have attached.

I have further attached some more close up pictures of the ring along with the original post ones.

I did inquire in my original email about how many gold versions were created and when this ring might date to, and, as you can see from the email, they were pretty tight lipped about it.

Doing some more research, my ring with the hallmark of the copyright symbol then AVERY in caps was only done through the 70s and 80s. So, this is an old ring.

And finally, after being super annoying and emailing/calling them multiple times, I got in touch with the previous (very old) couple who we bought the house from and they said that, “they’ve never seen it (the ring) in their life.”

Note the house was built in the 50’s and they only bought it in ‘98. They didn’t recognize it all.

I found the ring under the sink/vanity in the unfinished basement. It’s only a toilet and a plywood vanity so makes sense no one would really go down there and clean under the vanity. Apparently for decades.

Anyways, I just wanted to address that because I had a few comments about it on my original post and I would feel terrible trying to sell such a special piece. I have a lot of sentimental jewelry myself.

With that being said I’m open to offers now! Going into my last year of law school and could use the money for books. I would keep it otherwise.

Tried to join some Facebook markets but haven’t been accepted so offering it up here first. If you, or anyone you know, would like it, please reach out with any offer. No set price. Just would like someone who would treasure it.

Thank you!

Looking to swap

These are all size 9-10. Looking to swap for size 6.5 or 7. They’re mostly retired and cannot be resized (already tried). Figured I’d start here. I am in San Antonio.

Hoping to get help identifying

We are looking for information on a piece i bought my wife probably 15+ years ago. I have looked everywhere online and it is no where to be found, not a trace on the internet. Most people think im making it up since there is no record of it.

Its a mother's love pendant, but has tiny diamonds in it. It came in a nice little wooden box when I bought it which I remember standing out because I have never received a wooden box before when shopping with this company.

I have attatched some pictures of the piece in hopes someone can give me absolutely any information on it. We are just curious because my wife is the only person we have ever seen with this piece in person or online.

I don’t have my bracelet anymore (lost in a move)

But it’s almost midnight Sunday and I’m trying to remember if the ladybug charm had feet

Just want to complain to people who would understand

EDIT Thank you all for your kind words, advice, and intended generosity. You’re all lovely 💕

If all goes well with my scans in November I’ll be cancer free for five years, which will mean I’ll be officially declared cured. I want to get a charm to commemorate that event, should it happen, and decided I wanted the Love In The Stars charm because it just looks hopeful. I knew it was retiring, but didn’t want to get it ahead of time because that just feels like guaranteeing that my scans show something bad. And now it’s gone 😩

That’s all. I’m just sad about it. I know there might be a scant few left in the actual stores, but this is only August and there would still need to be one available three months from now and I don’t have any confidence at all of that.

Now I can only hope they release something that will be even more fitting to commemorate being cured of cancer.

Let’s see your charm sale purchases!

Were you happy with what you purchased? Any regrets? Did anyone get the silver paperclip bracelet? I was sad they sold out of my size before I could order one.

Would anyone be interested in this James Avery ring? Retired Wide Hammered Band Size 8

Excellent condition. I just don’t reach for it anymore; figured I’d ask here before listing elsewhere.
