fakes all over eBay

Don't trust these sellers that have hundreds of charms listed

Especially those that just magically seem to have plenty of 'retired' or popular charms

I guess the only silver lining for the buyers is it is driving prices down for everybody else

sucks if you are selling

My first charm bracelet

Been saving for a while and since prices are going up again I bit the bullet. Charms are gonna come VERY slowly. I don’t like it too bulky so I may do maybe just 2 more behind the butterfly and Texas and call it a day. Anyways I’ve been planning for this bracelet since JANUARY. Manifested it. 🩷🌟 I’m so happy I wanted to show her off. I’m going to get it insured next week. NOT wearing it until then lol.

Soldering at Dillards is always so dissapointing.

Has anyone had an experience with the soldering at Dillards? Unfortunately i only have dillards close by. I have been to two dillards and every time i get my gold charm bracelet solder its always a mess like its not seamless. Am i being too picky?

Questions about selling retired pieces

Hi everyone! I inherited several James Avery pieces from my mom and I’m trying to catalog everything before deciding what to keep or sell. I’ve already confirmed they’re authentic (JA hallmarks visible), and I have a jeweler’s loupe on the way so I can photograph all the marks. Hoping to surprise her with a nice check for her birthday :) I know some of the pieces are retired, I also know the prices listed on Etsy/ eBay are not always reflective. I attached pics of the same pieces being sold by other sellers

I was hoping collectors could help me with:

* Whether any of these are considered especially collectible or uncommon.

* Any advice for selling retired James Avery pieces (eBay vs. Facebook groups vs. other marketplaces).

I also have pouches / James Avery boxes for everything

Question about Charms

Hi guyysss! I got my first ever charm bracelet I’m so happy!!
But I have a question for the ogs. Whenever you got your first bracelet, did you put your charms on after you got a few or did you add them one by one ?

Mine is gold so it’ll take me a WHILE to add charms especially with the price increase. So I was thinking should I collect them and then put them on the bracelet eventually all together or add them one by one ? Right now I only have a butterfly charm.

Are there unspoken rules ? Or does it not really matter !!

Thank you guys :)

Are the sterling silver chain necklaces still worth getting?

I’m thinking of buying the sterling silver rectangle foxtail necklace, but I’m worried about the quality since I’ve seen reviews and posts saying JA’s quality is going down. Is it still worth getting for 275 bucks?

Price increase again???

Sorry guys, I heard via tik tok that the prices are being increased AGAIN?? I got a gold charm bracelet for my birthday and I’m excited to start collecting charms. I saw they did a price increase in February now they are planning on doing the increase again in July???! I’m so saddd. The charms I want are already so expensive so I have to add charms so slowly lol. I HATEEE being a gold girl sometimes. Sorry I just wanted to complain. 😭 I think this is ridiculously. 2 price increase this year is so off putting.
