New fall James Avery releases . . . What are your thoughts?

Nothing caught my eye. JA seems to be focused on and pushing their collegiate line of jewelry. No gold 😔 I’ve been waiting, hoping they would add some new gold charms before Christmas.

Let’s see your charm sale purchases!

Were you happy with what you purchased? Any regrets? Did anyone get the silver paperclip bracelet? I was sad they sold out of my size before I could order one.

Inheriting a 30 year old Trust that was never updated with successor trustees (Indiana)

A family trust was created in 1990 by my grandfather who was the original trustee. He died 18 years ago and my dad was named successor trustee upon Grandpa’s death. Dad named me successor trustee upon his death. Dad died December 2025. I just learned Dad’s estate attorney never filed the successor trust documents after grandpa passed and therefore my Grandpa, who has been deceased for 18 years, is legally still the trustee of his trust. There’s no money left in the trust. Just Grandad’s house. I can’t sell the house since it’s in the name of the trust. I haven’t spoken with an attorney yet, but the realtor I spoke with indicated that this situation will make the sale of the house very complicated. Beneficiaries of the trust are me and my Dad’s brother who is low IQ and currently hospitalized in another state.

What can I expect the outcome to be and how quickly can I reasonably expect to take over the trust so I can unload the house? Any and all advice appreciated. I don’t have a lot of money for attorney fees so I am trying to do as much research on my own before I hire an attorney.

Please recommend jumprings, carabiners, charm holders, dog clips, etc.

I’ve been searching for the perfect charm holders that I can attach charms to interchangeably. Do you have favorite Etsy sellers? Favorite styles? Amazon recommendations? I‘m particularly interested in finding petite, minimalist gold holders.

Why does JA gold look like copper? It’s a different color than 14k gold I see elsewhere.

It used to look more yellow gold - what has changed? I first noticed this at Dillards and thought it was their lighting. I was at my JA store today and the gold there also looked very brassy/copper like.

What’s on your charm event wishlist?

Fingers crossed it happens this year! Hoping to get my mom a 14k bracelet and 2 charms. Getting DD Whataburger charm and the retiring hamburger. Thinking about buying ahead for Christmas. What is everyone hoping to purchase?

Thoughts on Invisalign treatment during perimenopause

I’m considering Invisalign treatment as my teeth have shifted and are misaligned (I had braces as a teen). I’m reluctant after reading many posts here about teeth issues during menopause. I don’t currently experience dry mouth and my gums are healthy. I have not had a bone scan, but dental xrays show minimal bone loss. I just began HRTs. I don’t want to invite problems with Invisalign, but would like to improve my smile and overall oral health. Please share your thoughts and experiences.

My observation on the east coast of the US is that most of the bags I see women carry are black (NYC, DC, Boston, Etc.). Agree or disagree? Why do you think this is? Even in the summer I see mostly black bags out in the wild.
