Hi trying to decide between buying Dior Mini or the LV Vanity Chain bag from Italy. Which bag should I get? I love both. The LV will be more practical for everyday but I love the Dior and can use it as a formal bag since I don’t have a beige bag as yet.
Help me pick-
I love both of these bags: Loewe Flamenco Clutch (medium) and Bottega Andiamo (small). The Loewe dark burgundy color is so pretty and so is the Andiamo's fondant. Both shapes are very different, one is slouchy and the other is structured. But I love both styles honestly. I'm looking to use it for either casual or for events/dinner. Something I can use either for everyday wear or formal. I also don't want it to have much wear and tear too easily! Something that doesn't need to be babied "too" much.
Torn between both, which would you go for if you had to choose?
I have wanted the Neverfull for ages and finally am in a place where I am able to purchase; however, now I’m worried that I’ve grown out the loudness of the bag. For reference, I’d like to use the bag to travel as my laptop/daily use bag. I’m 37 and want something around the $3000 price point.
I want it to be classic while also clear that I know ball when it comes to luxury handbags.
I travel a good bit but when I’m not I don’t use totes as often. When traveling I use a backpack for my laptop but I’d much rather swap to a good tote. I wanted a tote with a closure but lots of designer bags don’t have any kind of closure so these are the ones I’ve narrowed it down to. They all feel like one I could and would use outside of travel as well. I have thoughts on each listed below:
Beatrix - I like how this one can be more casual, love the dark brown canvas as well. My concern is pics I have found of it it seems like the strap may not stay up very well?
Mercato - love this one and that it’s a bit more quiet. No full top closure but my laptop would fit
Le 5 a 7 - think this is one of the prettiest bags. So simple but just so gorgeous. Again no full top closure but I love any pics or videos I see of how it sits on people.
Bonnie large - I have a medium Bonnie and it is one of my favorite bags ever. So I don’t care about it potentially going out of style, since I like it! There is a top zip which is great too.
Ladies what are your fav dinner/lounge bags/clutch? Esp those that come with a strap because i cannot see myself out for hours holding a clutch in my hand or under my pits without getting tired of it LOL Drop the photo in the comments. No andiamo clutch since everyone has it. It can be vintage as well.

a bag that’s vintage, rare (limited edition) or no long made that you missed out on because you couldn’t afford at the time or you were waiting for a deal but someone else got it first. which bag still haunts you in your dreams?
This bag was visibly fake before even handling - loose threads, plasticky leather, and this "certificaie of autbenticity". Being sold for $2800. I notified the employee who showed it to me that it's fake, and she just stared at me blankly and put it back in the case for sale...
Is there any way to report this??
Hey all. Clueless husband here. My wife’s 30th was last year. That day kinda sucked. We had a newborn, she was a fuss that day, and I know my wife wanted a fun day. This year, 31, she’s dropped a hint she wants a new purse. I know she wouldn’t want a $1000 bag, but I want to get her something genuinely nice. Maybe in the $500 range. Doesn’t have to be “designer”, but quality. Not against quality resale options. Just looking for opinions.
Edit: additional info. I’d call her classy but not flashy. We live in a smaller town. So I’m thinking something subtle. Not a big LV on the side that get people saying it’s too much. She said something mid sized. Not small, but not a tote
Hey all - I'm way in over my head here and was hoping to get some help. My wife's been dropping hints this past year about wanting a new brand name purse.
Our wedding anniversary is coming up and I wanted to surprise her with one. I tried to just Google what to get and find myself woefully outclassed here with both the number of brands and the variety of purses that exist. Not only that, I can't tell what makes purses special or attractive. Like with shoes and jewelry I can understand what makes a design special, what makes up the cost. But purses confound me...so I'm here hat in hand begging for some help.
My general budget is 2000 dollars with a bit of room to play. Coming into this I thought that would be a solid budget but I'm now feeling I was wrong?
I think she wants an over the shoulder bag as that's what she's shown me in a conversation we had a few weeks ago but a month ago we were at the mall and she was looking at the smaller camera type bags so I don't know.
"I don't know" is kind of my general thought on this matter...so please help a clueless husband out.

What should a beginner actually look for first and are there any bags or brands you’d recommend starting with would also love to know any tips to get them for cheaper.

It's smaller than I thought but holds a lot of stuff. Very elegant. The clasp is perfection!
