I am a lifelong HP fan, and Wolfstar girl since….2010? I’m a little out of the loop with the new fans interpretations of Marauders lore, but I love the creativity and how much research has been poured into it. Jegulus of course, being one of the “newer” popular ships that I am not as familiar with. I personally love the idea and potential of it, but do not want to dig through pages and pages of fics that don’t suit my taste, get frustrated, and bail (happened last time haha). Shoot me your best recommendations! I’ll leave my requirements/preferences below.

-No A/B/O or mpreg lol (nothing wrong with it! Just not my jam)
-No Soulmate/soul mark/etc
-No chatfics
-Honestly…the less AUs the better. I love the HP world! However, I’ll make an exception if it’s extremely well written
-I loveeee some angst, hurt/comfort. Not required, but a bonus!
-Open to one shots/short fics/character studies (love these!)

Im begging for fics with actual happy ending and long enough (medium is nice aswell), im not a big fan of the angst, tho I pretty much don’t care about the plot, just want the good story and good ending.

I remeber few things from this fic.

James potter is a coward. The first scene started in truth and dare where james had a dare to kiss lily (reg and him were already tgt) james was scared of sirius finding out and ends up kissing lily

Scene where barty(?) And reg dance tgt in a party and james get jealous.

Somewhat towards the end, regulus is done with james indecisiveness and well unwillingness to tell sirius and breaks up with him. James is sad abiut this and tries to get him back. All through this shi sirius realises on his own what happened and tells james he wouldn't have cared this much and that james shouldnt have hurt regulus over it and should have choosen him(love black brothers with good relationship)

I’m really looking to be sad about a fic where they don’t have a HEA, like they don’t end up together and it’s just sad. Preferably a longer fic that’s you get super attached too. I read a lot of dramione and i love long fics that end sadly and they have a lot of that. But i really want a jegulus one because i just love the concept and idea of it!

i feel like most jegulus fics theyre already in love with each other (or theyre in denial, dont know it yet) so are there fics out there that builds up their relationship and maybe starts out somewhere where they dont have feelings for each other (preferably slow burn)?

Heyy. I read this fic a while ago and forgot about it lol. I remember a few scene from them though. In one scene regulus has sirus has his bogart who basically like says that regulus will never be enough and he should have died and all. And Snape hears it(Snape and regulus are in good terms) and then tells sirus about it. ALSO ANOTHER VERY FUNNY SCENE WAS LIKE regulus sucks at potion so Snape is like tutoring him and they talk about compensation for his help(?) Sirus overhears them and think that regulus is selling his body and then starts going off on severus😭😭 it was so bloody funny in the fic. One last scene I remember is regulus giving sirus a wqtch on his 17th brdy as per some tradition

NOW HOPEFULLY, all this scenes are from same fic or I have gone and made mess out of 2-3 fics I read back to back. I thought all this was from none of this will matter but it wasn't. Please help a gal out😭

all i can really remember is it’s jegulus (muggle au i think) and regulus is in love w james and then regulus and lily start becoming friends and he becomes friends with the girls as well. and then james and lily start dating (or they were before i cant remember) anyways they’re together and this one scene i remember, they’re all at i think the marauders flat for like a dinner or party (reg and the gryffindors) and sirius is being mean and then basically outs reg and says he’s in love with james and lily feels betrayed cause reg and lily were friends

looking for fics where james is mean and very much asshole to reg before he falls for him, with grovelling and regret

I can't remember if it was a Jegulus fic or pre-Jegulus, but the main thing was that Reg ran into Moony in the forest; instead of attacking him, Moony sort of adopted him and wouldn't let go until the other Marauders showed up, saw the scene, and tried to separate Moony from Reg. I think Remus later said he was pretty sure he didn't attack Reg because he smelled like Sirius. That’s the only scene I remember—please, if anyone has the link, I’d really appreciate it. And sorry for the English.

I can’t remember what it was word for word but I remember Regulus once mentioned a quote from another book about being broken of something and I can’t find it. I don’t really have time to scroll through the entire book and I was hoping someone knows what quote I mean🙏 Also I don’t know if the tag is right but I think it’s the closest to what I’m asking about

hiii can anyone help me find this fic where hpdm both traveled back in the marauder’s time and then they made an unbreakable vow (i think) to not discuss anything from the future except james as harry’s father (reggie doesn’t know he’s the other father but he has some warm/cute moments with harry)

In this fic, Regulus and James are both professors at Hogwarts (I believe). There’s a specific scene where Regulus has a melt down at the lake and James shelters him from being seen by the students. Reg survived the cave which explains the episode.

Okay, working on my fic and I had Sirius say "hook line and sinker." not that he couldn't know how to fish, but I really want to change it to something like "Snitch, quaffle and bludger." but is that dumb? I like that it follows the same speech pattern but I can't think of anything else that would work.

So help! He's being sarcastic in the moment talking about how Bellatrix bought into Voldemorts hate speech hook line and sinker. So if you wanna help a friend out, that'd be great. Thanks!!

There's a fic where Regulus, james and sirius knew each other since they were kids and there's even a part where they said that regulus first kiss was with james because they had read a story where the prince and the prince's kissed in the end and regulus wanted to kiss to see what was that about...I don't remember the name of the fic only this part, does anyone knows?
