Just some crossover art. When I noticed Ed dressed as Steve Buscemi in that meme, I wanted to do crossover art of him interacting with other undead characters. The other undead characters are Beetlejuice, Nosferatu, and Eddie The Head. And yes, that is SmittyWerbenJagerManJensen's grave in the background.
I’ve still been thinking about the Jentry Chau LightBox Expo panel, especially the fact that they specifically wrote that Jentry fans are “HIGHLY” encouraged not to miss it.
I don’t personally think it’s going to be a Season 2 announcement. I’d love to be wrong, obviously, but it’s been almost two years since the show came out and some of the people who worked on it have already moved on to other projects, so I’m trying to keep my expectations realistic.
My guess is that it could be something else Jentry-related.
Maybe they’re going to show a lot of unreleased concept art, early character designs, stuff from the original pitch bible, deleted ideas, or things that changed while the show was being developed.
But I also keep wondering if it could involve something bigger like a graphic novel or an art book.
There was apparently a three-book graphic novel deal connected to the Jentry IP at one point, so that possibility especially has me curious.
Or honestly, “HIGHLY” could just mean they have some really cool behind-the-scenes material planned and want Jentry fans there.
I’m definitely not taking it as “Season 2 confirmed.” I just feel like there might be something about this panel beyond a normal making-of presentation.
My personal guesses right now are:
• unreleased development/pitch material
• a graphic novel update
• some kind of Jentry art book
• another Jentry-related project nobody knows about yet
I guess we’ll find out October 25.
