The new Newcastle third kit is actually kinda clean.

The new Newcastle third kit is actually kinda clean.

Newcastle just dropped the 2026/27 third kit in that light “Powder Plum” color, and I didn’t expect to like it this much. No crazy graphics, just a clean purple base with darker details. Honestly, this might be one of their best recent third kits.

Are football kits trying too hard now?

The 2026/27 kit drops are getting more experimental, but I'm starting to miss simple designs. Give me clean colors, a good collar, and a strong badge over five different patterns every time. At what point does "creative" just become too much?

Barcelona’s 2026/27 third kit is bringing back serious ’90s vibes.

Barça just dropped the new third kit, and the green color is a pretty big switch-up. It’s inspired by the ’90s and looks way more retro than their usual releases.

Real Madrid’s new 2026/27 third kit is a bold move.

Real Madrid just dropped their new third kit, and the pink color is definitely not playing it safe. I actually like the risk, but I can already see people calling it too much. Is this a hit or a miss?

Stop ironing the front of your jersey.

If your jersey gets wrinkled, don’t put the iron straight on the badge or print. Turn it inside out and use low heat instead. It takes a little longer, but your graphics will thank you later.

Does the Nike 2024 Brazil home run small?

I usually wear a medium, but I keep hearing the 2024 Brazil home fits pretty slim. Should I stick with M or go L for a more relaxed fit? Don't wanna spend the money just to feel like I'm wearing a compression shirt.

Cold wash your jerseys. Seriously.

If your jersey has names, numbers, or sponsor prints, turn it inside out before washing and use cold water. Skip the dryer too. Heat can wreck the prints way faster than you think.

Modern football jerseys are getting too busy.

I miss when a kit could have one strong color, a clean badge, and maybe one detail that made it special. Now every shirt needs a pattern, texture, gradient, or some "inspiration" story. Am I the only one who thinks some of the best kits are the simple ones?

Which one actually looks better?

Adidas 2006 Germany home vs Nike 2006 Brazil home. One is clean and classic, the other is pure World Cup energy. Which one are you taking?

The 1998 Croatia home kit is still undefeated.

The red-and-white checks never miss. No loud gimmicks, just a shirt that gets better every year. Easy top 5 in my collection.

Don't hang your jersey by the shoulders.

If you're storing jerseys long term, skip the hanger. Fold them or use a wide hanger instead. Thin hangers can stretch the shoulders over time, especially on older shirts. Learned this one the hard way.

I can only keep one. Which jersey stays?

I'm clearing out my collection and these are the last two standing: Real Madrid 2016/17 home or AC Milan 2006/07 home.
