Astrid and Miyu got my a$$, feeling: scammed

I ordered a charm bracelet for my birthday, it set me back $285. I waited 6 weeks for it to come (which I think is a little ridiculous considering all they have to do is put 3 charms on a chain and put it in a box, but I digress). I was so excited that I left work on my lunch break when I got the notification that it was delivered to my house, I immediately opened it up, nothing was wrong, the box was clearly not opened. Lo and behold all of the packing materials are there... no bracelet. Furious, seething. I waited 6 weeks and spent almost $300 and they couldn't even manage to put a bracelet in a box?? how do you put everything else in and forget THE BRACELET. Of course I am now having to jump through several hoops to get a refund thats taking several days.

But at least I have a $300 polishing cloth! yippee!

Finally got in contact with Meng..

Is this what you guys are used to dealing with when it comes to Meng? Mind you, on what’s app she responds whenever she feels like it and tells you yes all the time too and no more information. This is on we chat where she responds “quicker”. I don’t even want the earrings anymore, literally feels like an endless loop.

Is this REAL?

I went searching for jewelry in the pit after a concert. I found this coach bracelet and I can’t figure out if it’s real? It feels very nice, and has all the right details (past 2007 the china stamp was imbedded in the jewlery) as well as the kissing C’s. The only weird part is that it’s exposed copper on the sides from wear and has turned my wrist green.

Let me know!

Ms Chen vs Funny

Ms Chen is roughly double the price and Ive used her before for 3-5k pieces and is great. Is it worth the extra cost? Looking at a Pave love bracelet. Thoughts?

Has anyone ordered a Cartier d’amour or LOVE necklace

Hi, Has anyone ordered the Cartier d’amour or LOVE pendant with 2 diamonds necklaces from any sellers? I love both and I’m trying to figure out who makes the best version in yellow gold . If you’ve ordered either one, I’d love to know which seller you used, your experience, and how it’s held up over time. Thank you! ❤️

AC vs Gavivi vs Funny -Help Please!

I’m looking to purchase my first reps—specifically a hammered VCA and Chaumet bracelet—and I’m currently considering Gavivi, AC, and Funny.

I’ll start by saying that communication with AC and Funny have been great so far. They are both very quick to respond! The prices from all three sellers seem pretty comparable.

One thing I noticed is that Gavivi states that when shipping packages to the U.S., I would need to provide an account number and pay a customs fee.

For those who have purchased from Gavivi, AC, or Funny, did you have any issues with shipping, customs, or the overall buying experience? I’d love to hear about your experiences and recommendations before I place my first order!

Funny -- Tiffany T Bracelet Review

My parents are celebrating a huge event. My father wanted to do something extra special and get her a Tiffany T Bracelet.

I had ordered from Funny once before. That was a great experience. I helped my dad with the ordering process.

I want to point out three things about this transaction. The first is Funny's legitimate conern about doing a great job. The second is honesty. The third is quality.

My mother has big wrists. Funny took extra steps to make sure the bracelet was the right size. She just wanted it to be correct. She wanted happy customers. That amount of concern and pride in the product is great sign.

I want to talk about honesty. This is embarrassing for me. I got the QC pictures and wanted to pay immediately. I screwed up. She takes payment from PayPal friends and family in Hong Kong dollars. I screwed up and sent $30,000 US dollars instead! This was my mistake and there would have been no way to dispute this and get the money back. I wasn't very worried because I was certain Funny is honest. I was right. She refunded the money immediately. I know it is scary to send money to China. But you shouldn't be concerned. Funny is honest.

Funny's shipping is fast and reliable. It took around a week. I was so happy to see the finished product. It's amazing. I don't have words to describe it. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. It is is perfect. Diamonds that sparkle. Amazing 18k gold.

I am a very happy repeat customer. I received nothing for me review. It is my honest opinion.

Please help me QC my first Funny purchase

Hi everyone!

I decided to order a Tiff hardwear microlink bracelet in rose gold through Funny as I’ve only read stellar reviews about her pieces and the general community seems to trust her a lot.

As this is my first time buying rep jewellery, I would really appreciate if any others can weigh in on the QA process.

Please let me know what you think and thanks in advance! :)

Interested in tennis bracelet

Hi!!

I’m interested in purchasing a traditional tennis bracelet. Does anyone know of any current group buys? Or have gotten a custom one made and recommend a seller.

Also, if you have one in a 2.8-3.3 mm size, can you post a picture of it? Trying to decide on the size I want.

TIA!

Please help me QC 18k white gold plated vca ring from Maryjewelery

I paid 100$ for it, hope it's reasonable. Overall shape looks pretty symmetrical to me and the beaded edges seem consistent, but Im mainly wondering about the engraving and the finishing around the stone and underside as I don't know what I should be looking for when checking this. The radial lines on the front look clean in these pics, but I would like a second opinion on the spacing and proportions. Does anything stand out to you guys that I should ask the seller about?

Cartier Sizing

Hello everyone! I was hoping for some guidance about my correct sizing for Cartier bracelets.

Both of my wrists measure at 6 inches (I measured right where the love bracelet is in my picture). I originally had bought the original size love bracelet in a size 18 with the thin juc in a size 17 but since the love bracelet is so heavy, it was knocking my stack way passed my wrist bone. I ended up selling my love bracelet to repurchase in a size 17, but ultimately I was still not happy with the fit.

Yesterday, I tried on a medium size love bracelet in a size 16 with the thin juste in clou in a size 15. They do not move at all when walking around which I love, but I am hesitant about the possibility of my wrists getting larger.

I know that sellers are able to make half sizes in reps so I was wondering if anyone with the same wrist size as me has done a 16.5 love bracelet and sticked to a 15 JUC or if I should do the 16.5 love bracelet and 15.5 JUC. I am looking to purchase from Gavivi, not sure if his items run true to size or on the smaller side.

TYIA! :)

Caratsky Review

I somehow stumbled upon this subreddit and decided to go with Caratsky for my first ever rep order after reading reviews! I didn’t shop around for pricing as I thought the prices CS quoted me was really fair and I liked how responsive and communicative they were. When I gave feedback on the PSPs, instead of being dismissive, CS was very receptive and fixed whatever concerns I had! The quality of all the pieces are great, the diamonds are sparkly, and the coco crush X’s were spot on to me (I have the auth mini version ring and bracelet). I was worried about having all my pieces sent in one package and CS offered to send them out in two separate packages via FedEx. The second package took longer to ship out due to my custom SK ring. Overall I had a very pleasant experience working with CS and I couldn’t recommend them more!

Disclaimer: I will be receiving a refund for my insurance for this review but all opinions are my own!

-7/13: placed order and sent wire
-7/16: deposit received by CS
-8/1: received PSPs for some items
-8/3: sent remainder of payment and received tracking
-8/6: package delivered
-8/13: received tracking for 2nd package
-8/17: 2nd package delivered

Funny Does It Again! L0ve Pavé

Another amazing purchase from Funny! I got the Love Classic Pavé Bracelet in size 18 and I absolutely love it. The shine is incredible, the color is perfect, and the diamonds are beautiful and so sparkly. It honestly looks 1:1. The clasp also feels really secure once it’s tightened with the screwdriver.

I paid $4,427 including $51 shipping, plus 10% for insurance. I had a $169 insurance credit from a previous review, otherwise it would have been $4,596. I paid my 50% deposit July 22, received QC August 6, made my final payment August 7, and received it August 17.

Funny does offer a 5% refund for this review, but that does not influence my review in any way, shape, or form. I keep going back to Funny because her quality is consistent and I genuinely love her 18k gold pieces. This bracelet is beautiful and definitely did not disappoint. I am trying to decide on what to get for my next purchase.

First Rep from Gavivi

Disclaimer: I am posting this review for my insurance refund (not sure who wouldn’t post a review for that). You can also place the refund as a credit towards something else. This review is 100% my honest opinion! I also waited to post a review due to wanting to see how the bracelet held up in the shower, out-and-about, etc. So far so good!

Most Important Details:
18KT Gold Small Love Bracelet
-Ordered on Monday, July 20th and sent 30% deposit, $830 (gold was very cheap this month—I believe in the high 90s (like $97)).
-Anxiously awaited the QC photos—August 6th received photos
—Was about to contact him if I didn’t hear from him in the next 4 days—obviously after the date that he told me production takes (production time takes 12-15 days after the deposit has been sent)
-Paid final payment through PayPal ($1,947.50)
Total: $2,782.50 (this included insurance)
-Delivered August 10th

Contact:
Gavivi does have a website and the last four numbers of his WhatsApp is 5650. The website has their phone number.

Background if you Care to Read:
Hi! So, this is my first rep, and ChatGPT helped quite a bit on if reps are a good deal (surely didn’t want to get scammed). Reddit did help as well, with trying to determine a reliable seller. I contacted quite a few additional people; Gavivi was amongst those people, and he responded the quickest. Again, I used ChatGPT to assist with everything (i.e., verifying their pictures, weight of everything, etc.). I also thought I could negotiate, but I guess with reps, you cannot do so. Almost every seller had the same price. However, I went with Gavivi because of their response time and the reviews on Reddit. Additionally, Gavivi utilized PayPal, and I was not familiar with Wise or any of the other companies, so I definitely wanted to go with him. Although the reviews stated he was new, I didn’t pull the trigger immediately and wanted to do research. I think I waited about three days from my initial contact. I had my eyes set on the small love bracelet and saw that second-hand was way too expensive (close to the price of the real one).

I am so glad that I went with him because not only is the bracelet beautiful, but the weight is perfect (my scale stated 20 g); Gavivi’s stated 19.22 g. I didn’t test out the gold due to already having an original love bracelet, and the colors are identical! I also saw another review (or two) on here that tested the gold, and I didn’t feel the need to do so after I saw the gold weight on my scale.

I also requested if Gavivi could ship the bracelet as soon as it was completed, and he stated he may could ship it out that day, Friday, but at the latest Monday. He did end up shipping on that Friday, so I got it on August 10th. The packaging was perfect! The bracelet, of course, didn’t come with the original packaging (it may have been held at customs), but it came with a little pouch and the screwdriver.

I 1000% would go with Gavivi again! Let me know if you have any questions, but I believe I provided everything I could recall (I have searched many reviews, and many people request a lot of things), so hopefully, I was detailed enough.

Opus Bee Bracelet

I wanted to share an honest review of my experience buying from Opus for the very first time. I previously posted about buying an inspired Bee bracelet on Etsy, but had to return it because it was hollow on the inside, which was not what I expected. So I was looking here for sellers who can make this bracelet in full solid gold, and found Opus. I ordered it in 18k yellow gold.

✅PROS:

✔️Fast communication - Opus responded to my questions almost instantly and if it was nighttime in their time zone, I received messages overnight.

✔️Fast turnaround: quoted $2,450 July 23rd, paid deposit (50%) the same day. Received QC photos on Aug 6th. Paid remaining amount + shipping insurance the same day. Shipped Aug 9th, received Aug 13th.

✔️I asked for a first time buyer discount, and was given 2% off the quoted price

✔️High quality, sturdy gold. It is rigid and does not bend. The bracelet has high shine, sparkly lab diamonds, and the lock feels secure. I was actually not able to close it fully when I just got it, so was instructed by Opus to push extra hard, because they made it so tight on purpose. Now with opening and closing it a few times, it became easier, but it still feels like I need to apply effort (which is a good thing as I wear it daily and sleep wearing it).

✔️The bracelet is extremely comfortable. It may be due to the right size. My wrist is around 15cm, and Opus recommended I get size 16. He noted that the fit is a bit looser than a Love bracelet size 16, in case you are comparing it with authentic Cartier sizing. I used to have a small Love bracelet in size 16 and can confirm that the sizing of Bee 16 is looser, which I prefer.

✔️The bracelet width is perfect for stacking. It looks especially good with a tennis bracelet.

❌CONS:

➖Weight discrepancies. When buying, I was told the bracelet would be 14.8grams, but in QC photos I saw it was 14.21. I asked for a discount on that, and Opus gladly offered -$50 off the total item cost. When I received the bracelet, I used my own scale, and it showed 14.06. Not a huge difference, and maybe my scale is not the most accurate, but something to keep in mind if you care about gold weight.

Bottom line: I’m extremely pleased with my first time experience buying from this seller and will definitely consider them for my future jewelry needs!
