Took Jimny for tyre change & noticed the red marks on inside of my Alloys. These are from factory, as its a 30 day old car, and 1st time ever the rims are opened
On careful observation saw some scratches inside the red marks. Is this manufacturing defect ?
Does Maruti really don't care
Just got a Jimny Alpha MT.
Dont know what to say, I'm beyond excited
Dear buddies,
Yesterday I booked a Jimny and I'm looking for the safest and most practical way to travel with my Chihuahua.
My Chi always wants to sit on my lap while I'm driving. I know this is a serious safety risk for both of us, so I'm looking for a solution that keeps her safely restrained in the back seat while still keeping her comfortable and calm. Has anyone successfully trained their small dog to stay in the rear using a specific setup.
If you own a Jimny and travel with a small dog (especially a Chihuahua, Pomeranian, Yorkie, Maltese, etc.), I'd love to know:
What setup do you use?
Which products do you recommend?
Any products or setups you would avoid?
Photos of your setup would be greatly appreciated..
Thanks in advance..
Note : Sorry for lousy AI generated image which is for getting the attention !!
i mean my i20 2023 sportz had CEAT secura drives, they were loud and lacked grip but drove that car for 12000+ kms and not a single punture, never even used spare tyre
while my Jimny has done only 2700 kms and already got 2 puntures in both rear tyres
and i have not been to any trail yet, just normal regular unpaved roads and industrial area roads which i also used to take with my i20
Anyone else had a distressing customer service experience with Harman Impex? I had brought a cup holder. Tried installing it, but it wasn’t that straight forward. Called them, and they responded saying that they are not responsible for the installation. Fine. If you say so courteously, it’s ok. But the other person started yelling at me! And I was stunned. Never experienced such a pathetic behaviour.
Before installation, I had asked if they help with installation. They said the product has an installation guide. But the guide is in Japanese. Sure you can translate it, and then try to figure out what to do. But when I’m buying an overpriced product, I would expect some kind of help during installation. At least share the proper YouTube videos that show the installation step by step.
They don’t even have a return policy. They say they replace the items, but I can imagine how that conversation will look like.
Extremely disappointed. Even the product looks and and feels like any normal, Chinese cup holder. Nothing premium or made from Japan sturdiness or premiumness.
I've bought a Jimny AT this month and have driven ~300 km. I've noticed that even after a relatively short drive (around 10 km on mostly open roads), the bonnet gets quite hot. When I stop, I notice the radiator fan sometimes runs at what sounds like full speed (quite noticeable sound).
I took it to the dealership, and they said this is normal for the Jimny. (The first service is still two weeks away.)
I'm trying to understand if this is typical behavior.
Does your bonnet get noticeably hot after short drives?
Does the radiator fan run loudly after you stop?
Does it happen only with the AC on, or even with the AC off?
No warning lights or coolant leaks—just trying to verify whether this is normal for the Jimny.
Thanks!
I had a travel recently till know use to use only power fuel from Hp pumps ,recently filled up normal petrol milage dropped by 2 points instantly car performance also felt jittery going back to power only

Finally changed the stock Jimny tyres to Apollo Apterra AT2 225 /70/R15. Feels more planted and stable, while eliminating the skinny look. Cost - 8.5k per tyre.
Hello, my first service us due this weekend and I am thinking to get an engine oil change as a good practice. Although its not recommended as by Maruti. Could anyone suggest if its good to go for ?
Please also suggest what other things I need to be considered while first service.
Thanks in advance :)
Finally bought Jimny - this one’s for me (hopefully).
I already had a Jimny in Kinetic Yellow. I handed it to my wife “just to drive once” and… it never came back. Her exact words: “I will keep it.”
After a lot of back-and-forth, I decided to stop pretending I’d get my green one back and bought one for me.
Just started adding a few accessories/mods and setting it up the way I want. I’ll share the full list and pics soon once things are a bit more complete.
Guys, gonna buy Jimny Alpha AT soon. Couldn't really finalise the color. Short listed these
I know this is purely a personal choice, but which color Jimny you guys have? Thanks
Hello all, seeking advice on a reasonably priced roof carrier . The vehicle is based in Dehradun. I am also ok with a half carrier. Any inputs will be highly appreciated. Preferably something that you have tried yourself
